What are they doing?

One thing that is really bothering me in the sports world is what is going on with the Atlanta Falcons. Like what are they doing in the offseason right now? I have been looking around the league and seeing so many teams become so much better, but the falcons are essentially regressing from what I am seeing. I think a lot of it has to do with Matt Ryan getting a new contract prior to the next year. Though he is an awesome player and deserves to be paid well, I think that he should consider going the Tom Brady route to help his team get built up. That is what being a team player all is about! Why would someone who is so interested in winning a championship, not want to have his team build up around him? By taking less money, he could have had the team add Suh to the defense, which would have made the dense almost unstoppable. Plus, they could have added a tight end like Jimmy Graham to make the offense much scarier to other teams. I mean come on, who would want to go up against Graham, Julio Jones, Muhammad Sanu ,  and Devonte Freeman? That combination would give defensive coordinators nightmares that they would see for years to come. To make it even more interesting, they could have built up good depth along each position on the team. This could be multiple corner backs, linebackers, or lineman on each side of the ball. This would help keep the guys fresh on the field, and in turn prevent anyone from getting too worn out during the game. I also believe that if an injury occurred, this would help them compensate the loss of one player, just in case. Regardless, they have a great team, and I trust that the coaches and staff will make some solid moves in the weeks to come. They also have the draft coming up in a few weeks, which I am assuming will help out in the future. I expect that they will go after nothing but lineman in the draft, and maybe go after a few corners as well. I would like it if they went after one of the top tight ends in the first round, or a hyped up receiver, just so that they can have more weapons on offense. They have a great chance to make it back to the super bowl, but need to make some smart moves in the process. Rant over!

nasty ass pizza

Hey guys just adding a new post for you guys talking about something important to my life. By important, I mean it’s not important, but it is about food, which I enjoy a lot. So, it has been brought to my attention that my favorite local pizza shop makes a margarita pizza that I have never tried before. Being as how I enjoy all of their stuff like the cheese steaks, pepperoni pizza, and burger, that this may something else to try. So I was intrigued, and had my fiancé order it one night to enjoy once I came home from work. What I got however was one of the grossest insults of food I have ever experienced. First off, the crust was literally paper thin, which made it soggy and gross. It essentially slid down my throat like a sardine, which was nasty within itself. Then, the worst part of the pizza itself was the sauce. What should have been a pizza sauce puree was actually crushed tomato. Not even a little bit of tomato, but a lot of tomato. It was like someone opened a big can of crushed tomatoes, let it sit out for a while, and then just dumped it on a pizza. Then they cried and smashed those tomatoes in a rage, to make them less chunky. Unfortunately, they were still chunky and were sliding off the pizza, which I swear were speaking to me on the way to the plate. They were shrieking for help and asking me not to eat them. It was a sad experience. To make it worse, the tomatoes were clearly from a can. Being a person who eats like a homeless person regularly, I understand what canned food tastes like. It has that faint metallic taste to it, and the pizza also still had the tomato water mixed into it too. It was nasty!  I was really upset about the cheese component of it too. Instead of spreading cheese out all over the pizza, it was merely spotted with I believe was slices of cheese throughout. This of course also fell off the pizza upon eating and did a splat on the table. I was very disappointed. It almost seemed like chimps made my pizza which I am curious to looking into. As far as eating it, I choked down a few slices, only because I didn’t want it to go to waste, and I was starving. Plus, I am used to eating trash essentially. Random complaining

When talking about my career, I am still a good distance away from where I want to be. Somehow though, I am actually pretty close to the finish line! Currently, I am in my senior semester, and I will be graduating in May, and I have been counting down the days until I am done. As it stands today, I have only fifteen more classes to attend, and then I am through. In that time, I will continue to die a little bit inside with painfully long papers, BLAST assignments, and presentations in the meantime.  One bright spot though is that I have been taking a lot of time to apply for career jobs. I haven’t heard from too many just yet, but I have had an interview that went pretty good. In fact, they want me to come in for a second interview this coming week. If that goes well, I should be hired, and start immediately after the semester ends. Along the way I am actually nervous about passing a particular class, because the professor seems to be all over the place in her teachings. She is extremely unorganized and is assigning projects, with no directions, and grading us very hard in the process. I personally can’t stand this. She even went as far as to spill tea all over our exams this morning, so that is why we don’t have them ready. Instead they are drying in her bathroom for some odd reason.

All I want is to be done doing these assignments, and finally get my life together. I have a family at home, tons of bills, and I would love to finally be part of a company that is doing something that matters. Something would actually pay the bills, let me spend holidays and nights with my daughter, and even have the flexibility to have fun in my life. I am so tired of being a server and slaving away to ungrateful people who complain about everything, and assume that I am the root of their problems. If your steak is bad, take it up with the kitchen. They were the ones who cooked it. I just ordered it for you and brought it out. I really don’t need to get yelled at because of it. Or if your night is so ruined, cook your own damn steak!  Anyways, that is my rant for now. Hope you are all good. Talk to you all soon!
