This picture is really just to prove I went to the gym today for the first time in two months since apparently my camera decided not to save the picture I took of my progress on the bike... I did 7.19 miles in 35 minutes getting up to resistance level 10, so this is to help me not be ridiculously sore later 😂 treat yourself

Hey, guys 👋🏽 haven’t posted here in a while. Admittedly, my weight loss was taking a backseat to my education and work life and I wasn’t as focused as I should’ve been over the past few weeks. I mean, last time I posted about going to the gym was the last time I went... yikes. But it seems appropriate that two days ago was the anniversary of when I started my liquid diet and this morning I’ve finally hit the 100 lbs lost point. Feels a little surreal when I think about it. Let’s see what another year brings, huh?

You guys!!!!! My goal was to get below 300 by the end of February and I soared passed it 😭 I haven’t been below 300 since maybe the end of middle school/beginning of high school back in the mid-2000s. My fortune cookie yesterday told me that success was on its way to me and it sure wasn’t kidding. This week has been full of a lot of great things and I can’t wait to (hopefully) share more good news next week. Just keep me in your thoughts/prayers/etc come Monday around 3 PM if you could.

Really gotta get my friend to take pics or videos of me doing other things at the gym 😂 I promise I do more than the bike. Yesterday, I did a few ab machines as well as one for the glutes and a hip abduction. Weirdly enough, my back is more sore than my abs right now. At least I feel like I worked something!

Started going to a new gym today because the Y was expensive and I wasn’t getting much out of it for the cost 🤷🏽♀️ Here’s today’s progress. Some life updates: my best friend has recently moved in with us, so we’re gonna be accountability partners with each other! She went with me today, so we’re off to a good start. I have also recently gotten hired as a delivery driver, so I’ll be starting that next week. We’ll see how this impacts me both mentally and physically, since I’m in my last semester of classes too. Don’t want to stress myself out too much, but I also need money so... we’ll see, right? (at Planet Fitness)

I bet you wouldn’t be able to tell because I still have a ton of it (shoutout to thick hair, right?), but my hair’s been thinning the last two months. Since my trip to Europe in November, I noticed that my hair has been falling out more than it did in the previous six months since surgery. I assumed it was due to malnutrition because I wasn’t getting in enough macronutrients or vitamins throughout my trip, especially protein. I’ve been eating better since then, but my hair has still been struggling and my nails have seen better days. So I finally invested in one of those hair, skin, and nail vitamins that I always hear people talking about. I have NO idea if this will really work for me, but this particular one had a ton of great reviews, so I’m hopefully. I’ll keep you guys posted on my results!

Surprised to say that I actually lost weight over Christmas/New Years! I definitely was not keeping up with eating right, but I guess maybe not stressing myself out about it over the holidays did some good. Ready to take on some new goals and new adventures this year. 💪🏽

I’m about two weeks late on this, but I think you can forgive me considering all my traveling and lack of ability to weigh myself properly 😂 November 23rd marked the 6 month post-op date for me. Today I was finally able to weigh myself after my travels and I’m down to 313.8 lbs, meaning I’ve lost a total of 74.8 lbs (curse you extra .2!!). This is probably the smallest I’ve been in the past decade and it feels pretty awesome. The amount of walking I was able to do without getting winded or my feet hurting (my back is another story altogether) was so much more than I could ever even think of doing before. I’m excited to see what this next month brings and to (hopefully!) clock in below 300 before the year is out.

British Airways flight to London with no seatbelt extender!! This put me into a much better mood than I was this morning. I’m excited for this little jaunt around England because it means I get another chance to see a friend I met online ages ago. It’s been three years since I’ve last seen her and I’m so excited to catch up!

Didn’t need a seatbelt extender for my first flight on a tiny plane! Thought it was a victory until I got onto the two bigger planes and ended up needing one 😂 but one out of three ain’t bad.
