A work in progress here! Was itching to sketch some bamf!Q but got carried away… Gonna resist the urge to continue this piece for a while, since I have like twenty other things I should be drawing, ahh… I’ll eventually finish drawing the second kitty and some extra detail, colour everything, and decide what Q reads at bedtime, lol… then I ought to give him a tat or two, eh? ^^  (My Art /// My Ben Whishaw Art)

Headcannon # 2: Bond is good with kids.

It’s not something he thinks about a lot considering he can’t really have any and be a 00 at the same time. Of course, that doesn’t stop him from helping a child or if he’s out on a mission and no one is actively trying to kill him. The only other person who knows about Bond’s soft spot for kids is Q (since he’s Bond’s handler) and on those missions, James makes sure to bring back every piece of equipment. After all, he can’t let anyone know he’s more than an irresponsible 00.

Bond/James/007 Rant

So one big thing I wanna play with in this story is the differences between the personalities of James. I wanna do this thru a specific use of his titles in the senarios.

I know this probably isn't novel but bear with me. (my impressions/opinions obvs)

Bond is the spy right. He's got to be the suave, womanizer guy. The one who deals with the people and gets the job done. Quippy and sarcastic.

007 is the killer. The cold, emotionless one. He does what is necessary and compartmentalizes and can focus only on what has to be done.

For me these two are slightly more interchangable. In essence those are his work personality. (not like severence work personalities-- XD) but like. they are different than

James. In this au, James is a dad. James is the more emotional version of him. This is not to say that Bond isn't the real James. Sure its maybe an exaggerated act but all of these are still facets of the man.

James however is maybe the one who fell in love with Vesper. Who wanted to run away with her.

Its just this stylistic choice I want to play around with bc the point of this story is the different sides this man has. Having a child is going to change things and I want to use this conscious name change to emphasize his emotional state at the time (?)

Idk this isn't a super well fleshed out reasoning but its like a specific choice and vibe in my head i want to play with.

Hellop

I just spent the last almost year obsessing about James Bond and specifically the Craig era and I wanted a spot to talk about it off my main blog so here we are.

Basics of the AU is this:

Starting with Casino Royale its an au where James has a young bio daughter named Amelia. The plan is to go thru all the movies plus Golden eye - mostly bc Alec and also the fact that the remastered wii game has Craig's Bond in it therefore I'm counting it shush.

I also have an idea or two for short side stories but the main point is the movies.

Do I know what I'm doing? hell no. I have a couple random parts of this story written and I'm going to say I'm making this with no promises as to when this story is coming. its a huge project but my motivation is shot always.

That being said this is my brain child that has been here for almost a year on/off. And I said screw it I wanna talk about this.
