you guys will hold “men’s masculinity is so heavily policed and held to a high standard and any step away from that toxic macho roll is punished” and “trans men pass so much easier all it takes is a binder and a hoodie”. cognitive fucking dissonance.

Everytime a cis women tries to argue against gender neutral language in medical settings it becomes very clear they care more about their comfort then trans men being denied medical care and dying.
I don’t care how ‘uncomfortable’ the terms person with a uterus, person who can give birth, person with breasts, etc. makes you. I very much care more about trans men having access to medical care than a cis person’s feelings.

"trans identiry shouldn't be explained to children"
First off all what do we mean by "children"? Is anyone under 18 a child? Under 12? Where is your cut off?
There are people who realize they are transgender at very young ages. Most people realize they are trans before 18 and definitely before 25.
I have worked with infants-5years old, and I am nonbinary and on T. I've been asked questions by children like "are you boy or girl", "if you are a boy why do you sound like a girl", and "are you nonbinary?"
Children can pick up on things.
It's actually not hard for a child to understand some boys/girls realize later in life that they are girls/boys or even some people don't feel like they are girls or boys. L

So we all know that Tumblr is US-centric. But to what degree? (and can we skew the results of this poll by posting it at a time where they should be asleep?)
Reblog to increase sample size!

If you can do it, what exactly is stopping you? Go ahead. Try. See how "easy" it is.

abstract and modern art haters are sooo snobby like klein literally Created an entirely new pigment and then painted a canvas in a way where the brush strokes wouldn't be visible. the insinuation that people with no skill could reproduce that is so annoying because unless you are skilled at color mixing and painting you definitely couldn’t lmao
