entertainment companies

to help you get to understand the world we're building at good luck, babe!, here is a look into the main entertainment companies your characters can join! as the site grows, we will be creating more companies and allowing member created companies. for now, here is an introduction to our big four.

creative collective was a small company founded in 1995 by former singer, kwak sunghoon. with perseverance, investment, and hard work, it has now grown into one of the largest and most influential companies in all of south korea. as pioneers in producing iconic idol groups that ignited a pop craze during the 90s and played a crucial role in the start of the hallyu wave in the 2000s, this company holds a firm grip on the market with its unrivaled presence and global reach. in recent years, they have further expanded their portfolio by representing not just idols, but also talented models, actors, and other entertainers.

star music productions (smp) founded by bang jungsuk in seoul, south korea,is a renowned record label and talent agency. in its early years, smp focused solely on hip-hop music but later expanded into the pop genre with the debut of their first pop boy group in 2003. since then the group became one of the biggest groups in the industry. smp is involved in various aspects of the music industry, including music recording and publishing, record manufacturing and sales, actor and model management, concert production, and training for new artists. they pride themselves on being a platform for artists who want to push the boundaries of traditional kpop music.

jw entertainment was founded in 1999 by renowned pop artist and dancer park juwon. it was one of the first companies to focus on the american market, strategically releasing english songs, music videos, and content that garnered a large following overseas. since then, jw entertainment has introduced some of the most successful groups in kpop, featuring their impressive dance skills and addictively catchy tunes. more recently, they have expanded into producing web dramas and managing actors as well.

and last, but not least, chrome entertainment is a south korean indie record label that was established in 2012 by retired idols (and close friends), kim taejoon and lee jongmin. although it's still a relatively new player in the industry, they have already debuted their first artist last year. the company primarily focuses on managing artists and scouting for fresh talent to introduce into the music scene. their goal is to provide a platform for artists to express themselves while also appealing to mainstream audiences freely.

the second preview of the day will help you get your character situated before our opening! below, you will find the main profile for good luck, babe!

our profile is tabbed, with three tabs — (1) character information + freeform, (2) character social media, connections, and wanted connections, and (3) auto tracker and player information.

the freeform part is customizable, and you're free to use any of the codes we have prepared. however, please note that all profiles must use a minimum of three codes (not including lines and separators) and must include include a biography, history, timeline or anything similar. this can be written in any format you prefer, short (or long) paragraphs, bullet points, diary entries, be as creative as you want! we don't need anything extensive but just enough that will help us have something to grasp and understand your character!

there are also codes for the social media tab of the profile, and you only have to fill it up with social media posts that you feel are relevant to your character. connections must be filled in, even with placeholders, and wanted connections (looking for) can be as long or short as you need them to be!
