Once again I'm excited about making music and sharing with you all that I've been working on for a while now. It's important to ask oneself WHY sometimes, in order not to arrive at the wrong destination all in the name of being consistent. Never in human history have we been under this much pressure to create. Everywhere you look, all day everyday we are busy giving our lives away yet forgetting to LIVE. You might say we were created to create but first we must LIVE. So when visiting a friend remember to be really there/present for the friend and not just for the photos. My babies (Albums) clock 4 years today October 30th. Its a double anniversary as both albums were released on the same day. . . . T.T.S.S (Thinker Tailor Soldier Spy) album is a poetry in motion classic, a 10 track album while Beyond Words compiles 14 tracks. I poured my heart into both albums and I'm glad the songs are still blessing lives. You can look up these albums on my website itsgamie.com or any music platform. I'm grateful for the journey so far and looking forward putting out more music soon. The last 4 years has been very interesting, I have grown much and I'm still growing, exploring, and learning. Since the release of my double album in 2015 I have put out more poems (Spoken Word) content than music, this made a lot of people start referring to me as a spoken word artiste and that's fine, I'm multifaceted. Honoured to serve you all with inspiring content in whatever capacity the Spirit leads. I believe there is more, I haven't put out as much work as I would love to this year because I have been dealing with a lot. Like a lot 😢 But God is good, thank you for your support and prayers. A 3rd album will hit you soon and guess what, a spoken word compilation (album) is in the works too. Here's what really happened! Make no mistake, this JESUS gist is the sweetest. His death brought us salvation. The natural man can not understand this. How can you rejoice over the death of a man? Well we can because we know what it implies. God's standard is so high that man on his best day in his best behavior still couldn't measure up. No matter what we do we were doomed. But God the creator in love with his creation came as man to die for man. He willingly paid for our sins on the cross but it didn't end there. He rose on the third day defeating death hereby giving us eternal life. So once we believe in his death, burial and resurrection we are saved and his Spirit dwells in us forever, hence we are saved forever. Finished! I'd like you to pay more attention to the second verse to know more about the new life we have in Christ Jesus. This revelation changes everything. Yes everything! Crucifix is a special song that's really dear to my heart. It is a true story about love and sacrifice between the creator and his creation. Christ truly died for man to live forever. This song delivers the message in two verses. The opening verse narrates the crucifixion whiles the second verse describes the new birth a believer receives in Christ. Sometime ago a lady told me I was too vain for her liking because I post a lot of my photos on IG. It really got to me and I kept going over it for a while. Yes I love taking photos and at the time I was always posting my photos since I didn't have much to post on IG. The part that shocked me the most was that she's also an artiste, I thought she'd at least understand but well she had to let me know her mind. It was left to me to decide what to do with her opinion, whether I'd let it define me or not. On the flip side I like and respected her as an artiste but I felt she was everywhere, I mean on every show just name it she's there. To me that made her look cheap and perhaps since I'm really not like that it felt wrong. Anyway I never told her or felt the need to. I'm not the standard and we definitely don't have the same assignment. I got over her words and moved on to greater things since then. People will always have something to say about you. Its up to you to decide whether to let it stick and define you or not. Nowadays you've got to be extra confident and comfortable in your own skin.
