It’s History Bug

Yes, It’s History Bug..... that’s the name of my blog site because this blog site will deal with Philippine History in national and local perspective, with the aim of making history easy for teachers to teach; interesting (not boring) to students and helps everyone to understand why me are today.

Why we are today, and maybe to ascertain what we will be in the future. History is all about the past that will link the future as Dr. Jose Rizal allegedly stated “Ang hindi marunong lumingon sa kanyang pinanggalingan, Hindi makakarating sa kanyang paroroonan.”

In the future, I will be discussing topics that are not written in textbooks, not to stir confusion but to add color to history. Its not tsismis because it will be supported by documentary evidence or testimony of an eyewitness.

I will also be featuring instructional materials like maps, charts, paper models, coins, stamps, postcards etc. to better understand history.

History is a branch of social studies which bridges to almost all disciplines such as science, commerce, etc.

Before I end this introductory blog, may i introduce myself, You can call me Prof B., A former professor of a a private college and state university for 13 years, public servant for 13 years and eye witness to historical events like martial law years, 1986 people power revolution, 1991 pinatubo erruption, coup d’ etat, 1990 earth quake at the 2013 super typhoon yolanda , I am a local  historian, genealogist, philatelist, numismatist, archivist, deltiologist and a bibliophile. I hope that these credentials will qualify me to make these post.
