It was obvious that all of a sudden Jillian’s presence started to make sense to Ace. “So you’re patrolling..” He crossed his arms, then looked at the police officer. “I’m twenty-five.. do I look like a teen?”

“Nope. Not dreaming. Back-to-school frat party going on about a block that way.” Jill pointed in the direction of where the topless running girls came from with her flashlight. She was dressed in her black police jacket. “You’re of-age to be drinking, I hope?”

“At least some of us went to college, uh?” Ace teased. “I’m sure that if we follow them you can have a bunch of deja-vus tonight, what do you say agent?”

“I saw it, I enjoyed it, and I definitely wish they took their hands off,” Lucy smirked. “At least some of us are having fun tonight. God, college was a wild time.”

Ace took a second to carefully look at the girl standing in front of him, squishing his eyes. If she was a native he had to be able to recognize her. “What’s your name again? I don’t think I remember you.”

Raising an eyebrow at the voice, Cameron made her way up towards the front.  "Well  I guess I’m your new neighbor. I’m not new to the town though. I was born and raised here. Just came back though recently.“

Ace shook his head, aimlessly pointing behind him with his thumb. “I think this is my call. I think the universe wants to tell me something. Are you into girls?” He wondered, taking a step back as if ready to run after them.

After a moment of standing on the sidewalk, paying more attention to her phone than anything else, a voice cut through her thoughts and she looked up to see two females running by, a slight look of shock coming across her features. “You’re not dreaming, bud. That’s what happens when girls get drunk. Clothes tend to come off.”
