Grief
Sincerely trying to understand why I glide through the stages of grief so quickly. For some, it takes a relatively long time. However, it usually takes me like a day (I think I sleep through most of the bad parts). Suspicions confirmed, I suppose, sentiment just isn't my thing.

Human beings are less shallow than they pride themselves on being. Social media is the cornerstone of depravity, as it is a haven for generalizations. On a personal basis, however, people typically omit the things that are granted such attention when studying others from afar. Take friendships, for instance: most humans identify the traits and aspects of an individual that they enjoy and focus heavily on them. When watching a movie, however, people notice things that would be widely accepted and sought after. Upon removal of oneself from a situation we don't focus on our own flaws, we search for them in others. Whereas, when we are directly involved in a social situation/climate, the converse occurs. Food for thought...
