Tristan: smiled back at him. "Exactly. Did you pay any attention to what I was doing with the pasta? Because pasta is like super easy to make." He replied, shifting the food around his plate to make it look like he'd eaten more as he was talking. Tris liked when Fitz was like this. He wasn't all that annoying to be around. "Oh yeah, absolutely. Some people get kicked out, just for coming out. I know I'm lucky. My mom doesn't really care. I think she kind of knew before I even did." He laughed. Tristan wondered why they were talking about this, but didn't really press. "You must have been hungry." He said as he noticed the clean plate. "I think I'm finished with mine if you want the rest of it." He said, pushing the plate towards Fitz. "Yes you're totally ruining my night. I had so much planned that I wanted to do." He said, rolling his eyes. "Seriously stop that. You're not bothering me. If you were I could just go to my room. A movie is fine."
Fitz: shrugged a little bit. "Um kind of. Something about boiling some water. We can go over it again later." He said and figured that pasta was better than nothing. And if he remembered correctly it was cheap to make a lot of. "Yeah, you're really lucky." He mumbled trying not to dwell on it, and hoped they could drop the subject now. "You sure?" he asked but didn't wait for a response before taking the plate and finishing Tristan's off as well. he moved to stand up. "Look I just have a lot of issues okay. And being a burden is one of them. So humor me by letting me think I am in the way or something." He told him and moved back into the living room trying not to hurt himself too much as he sat on the couch. "Got some blankets?" he asked and looked him over, glad that he was going to hang with him. He didn't really want to be alone.

late nights
Tristan: smiled when the other gave in. "Great. We can start whenever, though right now probably isn't great, since I just made food." He pointed out. Tristan was honestly kind of excited. Part of it was because he wouldn't always be expected to cook any longer after he taught Fitz. "I mean I feel like it kind of does count, but I mean it's whatever. I'm totally over it." He replied, not trying to guilt him or anything. "Yeah I'm aware. It definitely helps having Owen as my brother, otherwise I would have probably gotten worse than I have if it wasn't for him. And it's not like I've always been so non caring. It really affected me at first, but after a while I guess I just got kind of numb to it and it stopped mattering anymore. Like hearing the same insults over and over just kind of got old." He shrugged, not really sure if he was making sense as he tried to explain it. "Pretty sure you like when anyone cooks." He chuckled and shook his head. Tristan stabbed another piece and moved the fork up to his mouth before pausing and moving it back down to reply. "No, that's fine. I kind of figured. You can always take the couch or if Owen doesn't show up, you can take his bed." He replied, trying not to make a big deal of it. Tris really didn't like the idea of the other staying on the streets, which seemed to be what he was implying.
Fitz: nodded. "Yeah next time I ask you to cook you can just show me." he said giving him a bit of a smile. He didn't know why he even cared but he did want to kind of do something to show he wasn't useless. And Tristan seemed to like the idea of teaching him so why not. He looked him over for a moment before sighing slightly. "Yeah I mean I guess that's fair. Like I said some people don't have it that easy." He mumbled and tried not dwell on it. It didn't matter anyway. That part of his life was shut off. He definitely didn't want to go back there ever again. Or at least, he would keep telling himself that. He gobbled the plate down, honestly more hungry than he let on. "Yeah okay thanks." He said pushing his plate away for a bit and glancing at Tristan's plate which was barely touched. "You want to watch a movie or something? I don't know. Don't want to ruin your night by being here and shit."

Adam: couldn't help the surprise on his face as Fitz called for the truce. He turned and seemed to consider it for a moment. After all, Fitz had been one of the reasons that high school had been a living hell. However, with his current fight with Drew and everything going on with waiting on Owen's suckerpunch revenge, having Fitz not hate him would be nice. "Yeah, truce."
Fitz: gave him a bit of a smile. "Plus it looks like someone else is having a good time messing up your face. Don't need me to." He joked a little before stepping back from him. "But okay cool. Sorry for being a dick all this time. It's really not you. it's me. Damn, that sounds like a cheesy break up line. Forget I said that too."

Adam: instantly understood Fitz's nerves. This wasn't his battle to fight. It was just for Fitz. He held up his hands in surrender after the shove. "Talking about what? I was only asking you why you can't use this bathroom and why you shoved me into my locker." He dropped the kiss, walking towards the door once again. "I promise freak isn't contagious or whatever, so... Just piss here and don't be late to class."
Fitz: looked him over as he suddenly seemed to drop it. He let out a sigh of relief and made a bit of a face. "Wait." He said as he started to go and reached out for his arm. "Truce? Like we don't gotta be friends or shit, but I won't give you shit if you don't give me shit." He said pulling his hand back and rubbing the back of his head for a moment. He honestly didn't have a reason to be nice to Fitz after all the hell he had put him through. But maybe it was time he started trying to make friends instead of pushing everyone away.

Adam: couldn't help but take a step back from the other's tone and body language. Maybe he would go hide in a stall until Fitz left, but... He needed answers. "I know what happened, it was at the school lockers. Maybe you've blocked it out, but I just want to know why you did it. Intimidation? Is this the new bullying technique I should be on the look out for? Also, don't talk about my nose, bruises."
Fitz: swallowed a little bit. For once Adam had the upper hand and he hated that. It made his stomach churn. This is what he got for slipping up for even one moment. "Stop talking about it." He hissed practically, pushing Adam back further from the door. "I fucked up. We don't need to ever speak of it again. So forget it happened." Fitz said quickly and licked over his lips nervously.

late nights
Tristan: smiled and thought about it for a moment. "Well you could cook me dinner for once, instead of always asking me to make you something." He pointed out with a grin. Tris rolled his eyes. "Don't you think that if Owen and my mom has such a huge problem with you being here they would have like told you not to come over anymore or not as much?" Tristan said, though he kind of appreciated that he thought about that and wasn't just unapologetic for coming over all the time. "Didn't you? I'm pretty sure I have heard you and Owen making fun of people being gay before you found out about me." He said. "Like yeah sometimes I still get shit for it, but I'm not going to let them get to me." He shrugged once more. Tristan put the pasta on two plates, giving Fitz the bigger portion and pouring sauce over both of them. He took the plates and a couple of forks over to the table, sitting Fitz's in front of him before sitting across from him. Tris moved his food around a bit and picked up a piece to blow on it, before sitting it back down. "So I'm guessing you're staying the night tonight." He said, looking over at the other.
Fitz: gave him a smile back, glad he could feel somewhat at ease at the Milligan's. It was such a different feeling than he had at home. "Okay fine. You teach me to cook and I'll make you dinner." He told him, not sure if he would ever actually learn but hey it beat being at home, and well Tristan wasn't so bad to hang out with. And he wasn't wrong. No one had ever told him to stop coming over. Though, he figured Owen wouldn't because he knew that Fitz would be on the streets other wise. "I mean that doesn't count." He said frowning a bit and trying to find a way to defend himself. "Like I don't know. Some people get beat for being gay you know. Like I guess it just blows my mind you can just be so non caring what people think." He said furrowing his eyebrows as he took a huge bite of the food. "It's good. I like when you cook." He told him and watched him blow on his food and sit the fork back down. "I should probably let mine cool but I'm starving." He said with a laugh as he shrugged a little at the question. "Oh um, well if that's okay. If not it's cool. I mean it's not too cold out anymore." He said not flat out mentioning his other option was a street corner. But he had spent a many of nights out there.

Tristan: shrugged. "I mean yeah, why not? You don't have to if that's too much of a challenge for you." He replied, slightly teasing. Tristan shook his head as he paused at the joke. "I'm not even going to dignify that with a response." Tristan finished up and looked at the other. "Yeah well it's who I am and I'm pretty sure it's not changing anytime soon, so why not just accept it? Just because you think it's wrong, doesn't mean everyone else does. And even if they do, it's honestly not their fucking business." He said with a bit of a smile. "You're welcome." He said before returning to the pasta.
Fitz: shook his head. "I never said it was a challenge I just..." He trailed off as he let himself get lost in thought about his shitty home life. It wasn't like Tristan didn't get it. It was pretty obvious too after this giant bruise. "When would I ever use it?" He finally said and shrugged. "Cooking over here? I mean I already invade enough of you guys space as it is." He shrugged and moved to sit down when he finished and took in his words. It wasn't that easy for everyone. He didn't see how Tristan couldn't understand that. Some people couldn't just come out. Not that he cared. "I never said I thought it was wrong." He stated and frowned a little bit. "Never mind." He mumbled as he leaned his elbow on the table head in his hand watching Tristan cook the pasta. He was jealous. That someone could live a life where they didn't care about what people thought of them. That they could just do what they wanted in their own home. Fitz had honestly considered packing his bags and never going back but he knew that would end up well for him. What exactly could he say about that though. It was his own problems, not Tristan's.

Adam: scoffed and approached the boy as he walked towards the bathroom's exit. "You really want to call me a freak right now when you..." He checked to make sure no one else was in the bathroom before continuing, "When you clearly didn't think that in the halls recently? You haven't even told me what the hell that was. I sure as hell didn't ask for it."
Fitz: just stared at him blankly as he spoke, internally freaking out. This was exactly what he didn't want to happen. He didn't want to speak about it. Didn't want to admit it was a thing. God he had been so stupid to do it. He pursed his lips and didn't even move his head. "Maybe that punch did more damage than you thought cuz obviously you are making shit up. The hell you talking about the halls?" He commented, gritting his teeth slightly as he tried to calm the panic in his heart.

“apple pie, yeah,” she replied through a mouthful of the warm dessert. “it’s homemade. i do a lot of baking, and stuff, so i always bring it with me for lunch.” lola raised an eyebrow at fitz, pursing her lips as she reached into her backpack. “do you want a piece? i always bring extra for frankie and shay, but shay’s got pneumonia, or something… so you can have her piece, if you want.”
“Oh really that is fucking awesome.” He said reaching out to take the offered pie. Because there was no chance in hell Fitz was going to turn that down. Food was truly the way to his heart. “You can bring shit like this to your friends? What do I got to do to be your friend then?” He asked taking a bite of the pie humming at the goodness of it. He would have to see if Tristan would bake shit for him. Though, he should probably stop expecting so much from the younger Milligan.

“I don’t hate you,” Vanessa began. She shut her locker, immediately rolling her eyes once she saw Fitz before her. “I’d have to actually think about you to hate you. You’re just an inconvenience as far as I’m concerned. I’m not bitching if you’re in my way and refuse to move because of your tough guy act.”
“Woah who said it was an act.” He said rolling his eyes slightly as he looked her over for a moment before shrugging a little. “I mean you were pretty damn rude the other day. Instead of asking nicely you pulled out the bitch card. That’s not very fair to me you know.”

Adam: tensed as he saw Fitz's reflection in the mirror. Too many bad memories of Fitz in the bathroom, plus there was the recent kissing incident. Or, well, the first kissing incident. The one Fitz was involved in. But, when Fitz turned to leave he was surprised. He shook the water off his hands before walking to the airdrier. "You can use this bathroom. I'm done here anyway."
Fitz: turned back to look at him and shook his head. "Nah don't want to catch the freak." He said, eyes cast downwards not trying to make eye contact. His bruises from his step-dad's last beating still hadn't fully healed, he wasn't in the mood for confrontation or pretending to be more bad ass than he really was. "Didn't need to piss that bad anyway."

Fitz didn't have an extremely close relationship with Luke but they were friendly thanks to similar friends. He didn't harbor any bad feelings for sure. He had a few classes with him, not that he really paid a lot of attention in any of his classes. "Dude you take notes last class? I skipped. Not that I'm going to look at them anyway." He said sliding into the seat behind him.

"Still hate me?" Fitz asked staring the other over for a moment knowing that her attitude was definitely never going away. "I mean I'm not blocking the girls locker room today. But knowing you, you'll find something to bitch about." He rubbed the back of his head and took a bit of a step back from her.

Fitz: had been avoiding Adam like the plaque, even at the ravine he had managed to not come near him. He walked into the bathroom in between classes and groaned as he spotted him washing his hands. "Ugh I'll go elsewhere." He mumbled and turned to try and leave. There was no way he was doing this.

There was a bro code to follow when your bro got hurt by a chick but Fitz also hated getting involved in shit. He hadn't tried to delve into Owen's business with Anya since he was more than capable of dealing with his own. But here he was standing next to her rubbing the back of his head. "Been back this long and not even a hi for your good ol' pal Fitzy?"

"Yo art girl." He called out chasing the darker haired girl down the hall before stopping as she turned around finally. "You draw for people right?" He asked not even completely sure why he was doing this. It was stupid. "Like what all do you draw?" His eyebrows furrowed as he tried to come up with a way to make his request not sound stupid. Though if she was going to charge him he'd draw some damn stick figures himself.

"Sorry for not showing up in the pool house, though I'm sure your disappointed." Fitz spouted at the girl who he could have ( and probably should have) hooked up with. But he had left instead. And hadn't really seen much of her around school other than at the ravine the other night. "I know I would be." He didn't know why he tried to be smooth. It never actually came out like he wanted and even as he said he, leaning against a locker he miscalculated and almost fell. "Shit."
