For me it did the opposite. All it did was confirm what I always expected

Klayley is my originals otp. But I started shipping klamille a little bit after this episode, I’m not sure how I feel about it.

Why are they like this?

But why does no one ever discuss the parallels going on with Klayley and their love lives

First back in mystic Falls, Hayley wanted Tyler and Klaus wanted Caroline and they were scheming and trying to break them up. Hayley liked Tyler’s noble character traits and his strong will and Tyler was probably the first guy who maybe gave a damn about her, not romantically, but he was friendly towards her and she liked him, even though he wasn’t interested. Klaus saw Caroline’s “light’ and was instantly infatuated even though she wasn’t interested at all.

Now its like some weird love triangle each of them has.

But the funny thing is both of the relationship they’re caught in between are both basically the same type of relationship dynamic.

Jackson and Elijah are both good guys with a hero complex and who Hayley feel safe and loved and and that’s what attracts her to both of them. She never had love before and really she just wants affection from anyone who gives it to her. I don’t think she’s really in love with either of them, its why she can’t decide between either of them, because they both represent the same exact thing for her.She loves both yes, but in love? NO

Its the same story with Klaus’s relationships with Cami and Aurora. He even said so himself in his letter to Aurora that there’s a light in her so bright it makes him feel like the man he wishes he was, and he crying with her confessing his secrets, and Aurora was emo and crying over things that weren’t really her fault,claiming to understand Klaus better than anyone, human Aurora was just like Cami to me and her relationship with Klaus was a direct parallel to Klami, who knows when Cami becomes a vampire she might become a crazy bitch too.

My thing is why has no one called out the obvious parallel between Klaus and Hayley and their relationships right now, but they’re caught between people who are just the same, but honestly they’re not in love with either of them.

Hayley doesn’t have to stay married to Jackson if she doesn’t want to. She’s not really gaining anything my staying married to him, nor is their pack because already her being connected to the Mikaelson’s has and will continue to put them in danger. I’m pretty sure at this point, the pack is just like fuck it, we were better off before this wedding. So what’ even the point of staying married to him?

She staying married to Jackson because she wants to stay married to Jackson.

Then when he dies she’ll go straight to Elijah,not because she’s in love with him but because he’s the only other one who gives her affection.

Same shit with Klaus, for the past 2 episodes since Aurora arrived Klaus has not thought about Cami not once.Homegirl, was locked in that hotel with Lucien for days. Cami was sitting there waiting for Klaus to realize she was gone and come save her and be her knight in shining armor like he usually is, but Klaus was not thinking about Camille not at all. He was too busy reminiscing about his tragic supposed to be epic love story with Aurora, and oh yeah having sex with Aurora for days and claiming his love for her and showing her his painting of her he kept buried underneath the wall to hide his pain (like really just shoot me). Now that Aurora took Rebekah and took Cami now all of a sudden he remembers Cami exist (once Lucien had to remind him Cami exist) and wants to go all out to find her? Yeah yeah yeah, next thing you know Klaus will be confessing his epic love to Camille, when not only 2 days ago he was confessing that to Aurora, but then what about Caroline? He promised to be her last love..

Klaus is not in love with any of them either. He’s possessive, infatuated, and is attracted to them all due to his own low self-esteem and brokenness and he wants someone to save him or whatever. That is not being in love. He may feel he’s in love, but he’s not. 

My only question is how is no one calling out the obvious parallels between Klaus and Hayley and their love life. They repeat the same pattern over and over, and simultaneously might I add. 

Klaus and Hayley NEED EACH OTHER! if that’s not obvious I don’t know what to tell you, but Klaus and Hayley NEED EACH OTHER! Its the only relationship that could give the other some much needed growth, some much needed self-esteem and learning to accept and love themselves for who they are. 

Really why has no called out Klaus and Hayley’s parallels? If someone has sorry I must’ve missed the post, but I’m really done with klaus and hayley and their obvious parallels showing how much they actually need each other more than anything and just how alike they are and it going unnoticed.

I’m baffled why people think Klayley’s should be upset by this episode. All it did was confirm what we’ve been saying for ages.

Jackson leaves Hayley, and all of a sudden she goes to Elijah because she knows if Jackson leaves her she can get affection from Elijah. It was all to convenient that when Jackson and Hayley have a fight, she all of a sudden is putting Elijah first now before Jackson.

Yes convenient indeed.

Then I loved Aurora shading Cami and Cami shading Aurora. It was so perfect, because you could tell when and what word struck a nerve with the other woman.

Aurora’s infatuation comment, the fact that Klaus uses Cami, and manipulates her constantly, and Cami is aware of it. She knew all of what Aurora was saying was true, but what’s interesting is that Cami could easily tell what Aurora was lying about and what she was truthful towards. Cami knows Klaus cares about her, despite how he routinely uses her, she knows she holds value in his life, so when she heard Aurora say he doesn’t care about she knew Aurora needed to make herself believe that in order to give herself more importance over Cami. Cami quickly called it out and said one thing I know is that Klaus values her mind and that she’s so jealous and threatened by her relationship with Klaus because she knows Klaus probably see’s that Aurora has lost hers.

The dual shade was beautiful and so spot on. They essentially called out Klami and Klaurora for the filth they both are.  

Now keep in mind Klaus does love both women, is he in love with either? FUCK NO!

It’stheir first night in their new home.

Hayleystares at the ceiling. Her hand is resting over Klaus’ chest, lingering overthe smooth skin as she notices the breath of his body. Their kids are in theroom next door, already fast asleep. And Klaus seems like he’s also rathertired. Moving was seriously exhausting, Hayley never thought they could everown their own house. But, she supposes all their hard work was paying off.

They werefinally…stable. “So,” she releases, tucking her head underneath his chin. “This is it, huh?You, me, two kids, and an empty house,” she giggles, reminding him that most oftheir furniture had yet to arrive.Klaus pulls her close, placing a small kiss against her forehead. “We’ll getthe rest of the furniture tomorrow,” he reassures her. “Until then, thismattress will have to suffice,” he shrugs.“That’s not what I meant,” Hayley insists, catching his gaze. “I just neverthought that I’d end up being so…ordinary,” she sighs. He pauses for a moment, reflecting on their new found sense of normalcy. “What’swrong with being ordinary?” Klaus quips.

“Nothing,”she guesses. “It’s just…we’re kind of boring, you know? I mean all we do is goto work, and look after the kids. Where’s the excitement? The drama?” Hayleyexclaims, as she props herself up on her elbows.

He tiltshis head to one side, smiling like a Cheshire cat. “Don’t tell me you wantanother child,” he smirks. “Of course not,” Hayley exclaims, hitting his chest with a pillow.

Hechuckles at her reaction.

Theyreally were an ordinary and boring couple. But, Klaus doesn’t think that hewould have it any other way. He loved the fact that he could be so carelessaround her. That she made him feel relaxed, and, more importantly, accepted.

“I just…Iwanna have some fun,” Hayley’s words interrupts his thoughts.

“Fun?” Klausrepeats, grinning. “I can do fun,” he whispers while he winds up on top of her.

Hayleyrolls her eyes. “Is sex all you ever think about?” she asks.

His handis cold as it rests over her hip. His fingers play with lace of her top, attemptingto pull it right off. But, she grabs a hold of his wrist, keeping him in place.

“Well,can you blame me?” He bites, leaning down so his lips are right next to herear. “You’re nightgown leaves very little to the imagination, sweetheart,” hesays as he hears her release a soft purr.

Hayleyguides his hand lower down her body. “There’s a surprise underneath,” sheteases, urging him to pull off her night gown. “Lift it,” she orders.

There’scurious look in his eyes. Klaus swallows hard, scrunching up the fabric andslowly pushing it out of the way. He almost drops his jaw once he realizes thatshe was wearing crotchless panties. “Naughty little minx,” he tells her.

Her laughteris muffled by his kiss. Klaus’ lips are always rougher than expected. Theybruise her mouth, biting and nipping and teasing her to no end. She inhalessharply, feeling his hand sneak closer to her slit. Hayley spreads her legs inorder to offer him more access. The tips of his fingers barely brush againsther opening.

God, this was so frustrating.

He thenbreaks their kiss. “Do you mind if I turn the lights on?” Klaus questions.

“Why?”Hayley pouts, as her voice sounds just a bit too whiny.

“I…” hestammers, looking away. “I can’t really see,” Klaus finally admits.

Surprisingly,Hayley actually ends up giggling at his expense. “You’re kidding me,” shemumbles. “Aren’t you a little too young to be losing your eyesight?”

He’s alittle offended by her taunting. “I’m not losing my eyesight,” Klaus jerks.“It’s just too dark,” he complains, pulling himself off of her.

She knowsthat he’s getting a little insecure about his age. They were only about twoyears apart, but Klaus had a bit of a Peter-Pan Complex. Growing old wassomething he was not looking forward to. So, being told that his sight was notup-to-par concerns him immensely.

“I thinkyou might need glasses,” Hayley continues to mock him, wrapping her arms aroundhis neck and hugging him tightly. “How many fingers am I holding up?” shejokes, waving her hand in front of his face.

He pushesher away, scowling. “I can see just fine, Hayley,” he says, seriously. “I don’tneed glasses, I’m not that old,” Klaus whines.

She cansee that he’s upset. Not that she really understands why. “C’mon, glasses arekind of sexy, don’t you think?”

“No,”he’s grumpy when he answers her.

Shedecides to cheer him up with her go-to method. Hayley pushes him back into themattress, locking her knees around his hips. “I know how to make you feelbetter,” she voices, her eyes flashing mischief and arousal.

“Nowwho’s got sex on her mind?” He felt her hands slide up his bare chest, musclesquivering underneath her touch.

“Justrelax,” Hayley advises. “I know you can’t see, so at least let me be your eyesfor tonight?”

“Fine,”he nods, but fails to sound enthusiastic.

It doesn’tmatter though, because she knows how to make him change his mind.

Her handssettle on his shoulders, her fingertips digging in to his skin as she leanedforward. Her lips suckled on his earlobe, aiming for his weakspot. She wassneaky, with the way her tongue flicked against the softness of his skin,making him release a low groan.

“Andyou’re getting glasses, first thing in the morning,” she ruins the moment, allover again.

Klausshakes his head in frustration. “You’re such a pain,” he complains, but sheshuts him up with her kiss.

He letsher get away with taking the lead, just this once.

Hayley is a Belle (Beauty) : The dark brown hair and green hazel eyes. 

Klaus looks like Prince Adam (Beast) sandy blonde hair and light blue eyes.

I wonder if the writers thought of that when they cast Joseph and Phoebe as the leads.
