In situations and headcanons and such where Bruce doesn't tell the justice league his identity, I feel like one of the most often cited reasons is that they'd then immediately connect all of his many waves of increasingly smaller vigilantes back to him.

But I'd like to think it doesn't happen like that.

Like, at some point, Nightwing has been on the team for years, and somehow, no one that didn't already know him as Robin has connected him back to Batman, but of course both Bruce and Dick think they know, because they have to, right?

But then Bruce's identity gets revealed while Dick's off world or something, but he gets filled in, so he assumes that his identity is blown too, right? Of course, once you know Batman is Bruce Wayne, it'd be easy to put together that Dick Grayson is Nightwing.

So then Bruce and Dick have to rush to the watchtower from some sort of Wayne family event one day, but there's no real need to put on their costumes yet, because the league already knows their identities.

Until...

Green Lantern, watching a young man that he's only ever seen through gossip magazines fiddle around in the watchtower: Hey, Bru-Batman, I know we found out your identity and all, but do you really think it's a good idea to bring your children into this? I mean, what if he gets hurt?

Dick, incredulous: You... you do know who I am, right?

GL: It's hard to not know who you are. I saw you on a magazine cover just the other day.

-long pause-

Dick: Bruce, when you used to complain that you work with idiots, I thought you were exaggerating.

-general sounds of outrage from the JL-

best tim and jason dynamic is tim thinking jason is a loser and jason being reluctantly amused by it. annoying older brother and his younger brother who kind of hates him.

tim will insult jason and jason will just laugh which in turn pisses tim off more. it’s a vicious cycle

also tim constantly complains about jason and dick will reply “yeah he’s just like that”

jason strives to be as annoying as possible to all his brothers but especially tim

. . .

jason: hey can you do something for me?

tim: remember that time you tried to kill me?

jason, who just woke up (and is wearing a nightwing hoodie): what the fuck

dick, who broke in while he was asleep to steal his food: gasp!

jason: ugh. why are you here?

dick: I KNEW YOU LOVED ME LITTLE WING

jason, looking down at his hoodie: wait, no-

dick: *tackles him in a hug*

jason, muffled: i hate you

dick, grinning: love you too, jay

Keeping Up With The Wayne’s but bc Jason literally cannot be there, they have like a little memorial shrine and when asked about Jason, Bruce is like,

“oh my son, my wonderful wonderful dead son, he was an angel a perfect boy the best possible child ever.”

Tim just makes snide ass comments like “Well he wasn’t that great, he was actually an asshole who would always drink the last of the coffee and not make another pot like your suppos-“ and Bruce would interrupt like “hahahaha timmy here never got to meet Jason.” before gently covering Tims ears and fake whispering to the camera “He’s always been a bit jealous”

in revenge, Tim put the batman cowl in Bruce’s bedroom before he gave a tour and Bruce had to say it was Sex Thing.

Jason: I'm here to pick Damian up.

Teacher: Oh uhhh Damian is in detention.

Jason: He's in what?

Teacher: He misbehaved during class and he's now being held in a room for an hour after school.

Jason: I know what detention means. I mean what did he do?

Teacher: He he brought an knife to school.

Jason: That's illegal?

I love how Bruce tells Duke to guard the Cave & Duke goes "Yes, sir. You got it. Not a single goddamm person is getting into this Cave." Like he takes it so seriously that when the GREEN LANTERN shows up, Duke doesn't think "Hm. He probably has a good reason for being here. Maybe I should ask him?"
