okay i have deltarune downloaded. its just a matter of being in the mood and having time to play it. im gonna be so honest i barely remember what happens in chapter 1 and 2 so it will be nice to get a refresher

theres a specific type of enasquared dynamic that i really like but dont see often

i think the idea of ena liking someone and in turn someone liking her back is something she cant even comprehend especially if its another ena. id like to think the world's disdain and hate for enas bleeds into them (in this case im talking about bbq ena). it can be messy because i think she would have trouble expressing it and just project her self loathing on to the other

just the idea of romantic feelings bothers her because "why would someone unforgivable and full of sin like (me/her)"

it also doesnt help that bbq ena has this work culture mindset where she has to be working every waking second or else she would be wasting time and is wrung through the wringer by capitalism. she works hard to gain acknowledgement and respect that seeing web series ena's whimsy and (what seems like) aimless wandering really really bothers her but at the same time is quite envious of what she has. i just think it would be a very slow process of them coming to terms with each other's feelings because the world in general is so against them

im very bad at articulating what i like about this specific dynamic but i hope it gets the point across
