Hello!

I should start off by mentioning that I’ve never personally posted on Tumblr or blogged before, so patience is key as I get a hang of it! I needed a way of documenting my travels and activities in a concise and easy format to be archived and possibly read by others that care.

I’m Morgan and I’m about to leave for the AmeriCorps NCCC FEMA Corps Summer ‘17 program. I live in Washington right now and will be flying out to Baltimore in about 3 days. I’ve received my travel itinerary, duffel bag, clearance paperwork, etc. so now all I have to do is figure out what I’m bringing, pack it all up, and try not to forget any important documents!

I’ll do my best to keep this updated with everything that happens and how I feel about it all. I’m very excited and even more nervous about the months to come!
