Balancing European Glory and Kings League Chaos

On May 29, 2024, I was covering the UEFA Conference League final between Olympiacos and Fiorentina while also keeping an eye on the Kings World Cup Clubs Mexico 2024 matchup between Peluche Caligari and Foot2Rue.

With the Conference League final on my TV, I decided to tune in to the Kings League Americas vs. Kings League France showdown on my Nintendo Switch for some added excitement. At the moment I took the picture, Olympiacos-Fiorentina’s scoreboard wasn’t visible as a corner kick was being taken, while on the other screen, Peluche Caligari and Foot2Rue were tied 3-3.

At that point in the game, Peluche Caligari had both their Penalty President and Secret Card available, while Foot2Rue had only their Secret Card left, having already used their Penalty President. It was a perfect example of the contrasts in football—from European tradition to the Kings League’s unpredictable madness.

Multitasking at Its Finest: Covering Three Games at Once

Back in July 2024, during the second edition of the Leagues Cup, I found myself in full-on journalist mode, covering three matches simultaneously. The tournament, featuring Liga MX and MLS clubs, had multiple games happening at the same time, and I had to keep up with all the action.

On my TV, I was watching New England Revolution vs. Mazatlán. On my laptop, I had Inter Miami’s match against Puebla (if I recall correctly). And on my Nintendo Switch, I streamed the Leagues Cup Showcase friendly between Columbus Crew (the reigning MLS Cup champions) and Aston Villa, which was live for free on YouTube.

It was a challenge, but that’s part of the job when covering multiple leagues at once. Staying updated, analyzing plays, and reporting in real time is what makes it exciting. #HayPotra #LeaguesCup #MLS #LigaMX #ColumbusCrew #InterMiami #Mazatlán #AstonVilla

An Unforgettable Experience with Benjamín Cremaschi

On September 24, 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the “Realizing Goals with Inter Miami’s Benjamin Cremaschi” talk at the Apple Store in Aventura Mall. Hosted by Tony Cherchi, the discussion featured Benja, his father, and his brother, offering valuable insights into his journey with Inter Miami and his aspirations.

During the final moments, Tony opened the floor for questions, and I was fortunate to ask Cremaschi if he envisions leaving a lasting legacy at the club after renewing his contract until 2027. His response? He embraces the idea of making his mark, growing professionally, and staying close to his family and friends in Miami.

El Barrio Dominates with an 11-1 Victory!

El Barrio delivered a stunning performance in matchday 3 of the Queens League Oysho Spain, thrashing xBuyer Team with a monumental 11-1 win. The team led by Tik Tok creator Mercedes Roa showcased their offensive firepower, leaving no room for doubt.

Eva Díez (⚽️ 2’, 19’, 37’) and Carla Moyano (⚽️ 3’, 5’, 20+2’) both secured hat-tricks, while Alex Giró (⚽️ 2’, 19’), Rocío Serrano (⚽️ 8’, 20+2’), Coral Martínez (⚽️ 11’), and Paula López (⚽️ 9’) added their names to the scoresheet. Despite López’s early goal for xBuyer Team, it wasn’t enough to hold back El Barrio’s relentless attack.
