laios is perhaps the only character not to get the "they mentioned their favorite food once and the fandom makes it their whole personality" treatment. his favorite food is cheesecake and absolutely nobody cares

Is there truly anything worse than when a niche you enjoy becomes briefly mainstream. Not long enough for art, but just long enough for people to claim it as an aesthetic on social media.

Having niche hobbies and interests sucks ass, how do you randomly bring up how you made a fantasy robot girl detailed all the way down to the materials and organs to a sane or functioning member of society

The concept of normality when paired with the concept of human curiosity is crazy
I was thinking today about how fascinating the human body is, the way that most things in the human body are specialised for functions, and this especially comes into play when thinking about exercise.
Every muscle serves a purpose, which is fueled by the body's fat stores, which also keep heat to allow us to survive in colder climates. On the other hand, if it's too warm or too much energy is exerted, we sweat and pant in order to cool down and decrease fatigue.
Now, if you think of this through the viewpoint of machinery, it changes drastically, and we suddenly become the perfect machine.
Every single piece of the body serves a function, down to the last hair. It's amazing. And most parts can be improved through frequent use.
If I'm honest, I'm biased since I hadn't previously noticed this. For my whole life, my functionality was limited due to stomach problems, and as a result, I had never seen my body's full potential. Over the past year, through medication, I've been able to eat normally for the first time and as a result of this, my fatigue and issues which were related to a lack of body mass have reduced. Over the past few months I've started exercising again, which is something I enjoy doing, and the results have been surprising, which in turn inspired this rant.
Tldr: I love the design of the body dispite the flaws, and I want to exercise.
(Whilst I'd love to rant about the brain, it's 3 30 am so I'll hold off for now)
