Sick of Deltarune fans insisting that you have to be some kind of fucked up monster to ever interpret the Weird Route as potentially being an allegory for sexual assault. Especially when these people can't even bring themselves to say "rape" and will do that fruit bullshit instead. Like, gee, I wonder why someone might interpret the moment where you force Kris to force the ThornRing onto Noelle against both of their wills as perhaps being reminiscent of sexual assault. Like obviously it's not the only interpretation but it's one of the easiest ones to make.

And I especially hate it when these "fans" insist that Toby Fox would never include such themes, as though the entire game isn't literally fundamentally about violating Kris's autonomy and imposing your will on them, even in the Normal Route. Not to mention that Toby Fox is no stranger to writing about heavy subjects. I mean, you can literally commit genocide in Undertale, and both Undertale and Deltarune have many references to depression and suicide littered throughout them (Asgore kills himself literally in front of you if you spare him in the neutral route, Alphys kills herself in a few versions of the neutral route as well as the genocide route and is implied to have been suicidal for a long time regardless, and Susie regularly makes suicide and self harm jokes in addition to being in expert in cleaning up blood stains, just to name a few examples). Plus, Toby Fox has been working on Deltarune for thirteen years. If you genuinely think he never even considered that the Weird Route might be taken as a metaphor for sexual assault, then you're just calling him a bad writer at that point.
