anyone remembers how fucking dope writing in Meet You At The Blossom was? it seamlessly went from period gay crack romcom into honeymoon era into toxic yaoi into dangerously toxic yaoi into explosion of toxic yaoi and then finished with a full episode of stress free married era. all satisfying, fun to watch and with all ends met. and shitty parents didn't get redemption just because of being parents. and the crossdressing arc never was disrespectful, with characters accepting Huaien as a girl simply because he presented as one and all gushing how pretty the girl was. and the scum male lead ended up being an actual housewife. and everyone stayed alive. and they gave two post-canon happy bonus episodes. it fucked on all fronts
