Little surprises him in the street market nowadays, especially after having spent so long a time presiding over court settlements between Narnian vendors. It was commonplace to see such out-of-the-way goods make it through his castle.

Yet, seeing a dragon dildo of all things is enough to catch him off guard. When the glistening royal purple item is left out wide in the open, Edmund has no other choice but to ask himself why. Such intimate affairs, and all related items of choice, are best left in private!

He picks up the good with a cautious hand and asks the nearest person who can hear him: "Shouldn't this be sold in a more confidential manner...?!"

The scientists' idea of a joke is much more akin to an insult-- how in the world do they expect him, of all people, to fight with a wooden sword! It's preposterous, is what. 

"You there," Edmund calls out, before starts swinging at a nearby tree. With all of his force, the worst he can do is simply strip the bark away. In between consequent swings, he continues: "Where can-- I find-- a challenger?"

A sense of longing wells up deep within the boy's stomach until it rises as a pang in his chest when he sees the panda in front of him. Edmund... knows this isn't Narnia, yet he still can't fully convince himself, not with such a stark reminder right there.

"Excuse me, sir," he starts, speaking in a voice fit for a well-respected figure. "You wouldn't happen to know just where in the world we are, would you?"

Whisked away to unfamiliar sights? Edmund has seen plenty of this before. "Lucy, this better not be another wardrobe--"
