Good day to you, my name is Mikuni Oriko. I've been expecting you for some time now. Have a seat, maybe some tea? I'm sure we have much to discuss. ((Independent RP blog for Oriko Mikuni from Puella Magi Oriko Magica.))

Exodus' End [Closed]
Oriko strolled back into Mitakihara City, her expression rather neutral. She had popped in a few times before, but had never stayed long. Honestly, she had a reason for this odd behavior, but it was exhausting to explain and she'd much rather just not mention it if it wasn't necessary.
The white Magical Girl was not dressed in her extravagant outfit, instead, she was wearing a more casual winter ensemble. Pulling her scarf around her, she glanced about.
Now, one person to locate--
Or rather, she just needed to be at the right place at the right time. The rest would come on its own, as per her visions.
Tumblr media
Standing on a street corner, hands shoved into her pockets, she waited patiently, no trace of her nervousness showing anywhere on her face.
She heard footsteps after a while, and said before the other was probably even aware of her, "Good evening, Kirika."

Oriko placed her tea cup down and folded her hands in her lap.
"Nowadays, you could say that. If others come to speak with me, it's often due to an interest in my fortune-telling."
stage-of-despair started following you
“And what do you mean by that?” asked Walpurgis with much annoyance.  ”Wait!  Don’t tell me!  You’re that person everyone seeks for their future fortunes, correct?”

Oriko looked at her friend in amusement. Very much like a child, as always.
Tumblr media
"To answer your questions in order, I've been fine, I've been at my home, and I've been looking for you. Now that I've found you...I'm not entirely certain what we should do." She tilted her head thoughtfully. "More importantly, you're safe."
ivoryseer started following you
“Yeah, I’m great, why do you ask? How have you been? Where have you been? What have you been doing?” Kirika drabbled on with her many questions, but her excitement could not be withheld.

Oriko raised her eyebrows. That was a certainly a surprise.
Tumblr media
"You sing, Margot?"
The part about her Familiars she needed to keep in mind.
“Heh…” Margot rubbed  the back of her neck. “Well, Malitius are my minions. They’re a bit wild, so sometimes they attack without my consent.” Margot sighed.
“But! I do know how to calm them down. They’ll usually stop if I sing them a certain ballade.”
“I’m not sure how it works, but it does!”

Oriko wasn't surprised by the hug, but she smiled and returned it warmly.
Tumblr media
"Kirika...Are you all right?"
ivoryseer started following you
“Or… Or… Ori… Oriko!” Kirika dashed to meet the girl in a tight hug. She never wanted to let go- they’d been right. Everyone had been right.
If she went back to normal, Oriko would find her.

Oriko smiled a little wryly. Still Kirika deep down, didn't take a genius to see that.
Tumblr media
"It does, does it? I see. What exactly do you mean by that? Your Barrier is certainly...interesting."
“Alright, alright, I’ll be careful.” When Margot thought about it, she figured she’d need to be anyways. She wasn’t exactly the strongest Witch ever.
“So stop frowning! It’s making me uneasy.” She grinned wolfishly.
“And you’re quite welcome. If Malitius try to attack you upon entrance to my Barrier, don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. The ballade soothes the savage beast~”
Margot giggled foolishly.

"Kyubey is one of those Incubators. I really cannot explain the collapsing timelines very well since I don't completely understand it myself...Kyubey offers a contract to those with what he calls 'Potential'. It's a process that begins with him granting a wish and collecting emotional energy once he has created a Magical Girl, and inevitably ends with that Magical Girl either dead or as a Witch..."
Oriko sighed and shook her head.

Tap.  Tap.  [1 2 1 2 1 2].   “Greater detail would be preferred, yes; I’ve heard of a race called Incubators, but I have yet to hear of someone called Kyubey.”  She smiles wryly at the mention of ‘collapsing timelines’, as if she has previous experience (Mira knows more about time travel or the powers Time contains than she’d care to admit, or even can!), but makes no comment.
Saying too much can be fatal.  Better to let Oriko tell what she knows or is willing to speak.
[1 2 1 2 1 2 the timeline’s collapsed upon itself, hasn’t it, it’s been broken so many places you can’t tell 1 2 1 2 1 2]

Oriko was beginning to wonder just what she had done to upset the other. Oh dear...
"If you would like an explanation, I'll give one to you." She was still watching Mira with her eyebrows raised in concern. "The 'glut' of Magical Girls is due to Kyubey contracting, and also due to the collapsing timelines bringing so many of us together. I can go into greater detail if you so wish..."
She sipped her tea.

“I’m not offended,” she snaps, desperately trying to maintain composure.  Oriko irritates her greatly, and she’s not quite sure why, but it gives her cause.  ”And I doubt you can do much for me.  Perhaps, miss Oriko, you could give me an explanation of the events that seem to occur around here - I’m sure an outsider like me would be delighted to hear exactly why you’ve got such a glut of magical girls.”

Oriko frowned slightly.
Tumblr media
"Though you are certainly a very strong Witch, please try to excercise caution." She made a mental note to try and keep a close "eye" on Margot. Hopefully she would get a warning vision before her friend received a mortal blow, like last time.
"I appreciate the open door invitation you've given me, thank you."
Margot stepped back. “As I’ve said, come and go as you please. Just don’t forget to come and visit the Joker witch, alright?” Margot bowed slightly, smirking.
“You know, if I don’t die. But I don’t think I will. No Magi could defeat me, haha!”

The abrupt hug caught her off-guard. The quiet, reserved girl hugged her dear friend back after a moment.
Tumblr media
"No matter which form you take, or which name you choose, I'm...happy to stay with you."
Oriko’s attempt to cover her tears made her grin.
Suddenly, she pulled the white clad girl into a tight embrace.
“I’m very glad you say that. You just don’t know.”

Oriko nearly broke down into tears. She took in a shuddering breath, struggling to control herself. She continued to walk towards Margot, perhaps a little more uncertainly than before.
Tumblr media
"Really...I'm more than happy just to stay with you, Margot." She stopped in front of her, wanting to say or do something more, but not able to find it the nerve.
A tear streaked down her face, but she hastily wiped it away. "Something...in my eye, my apologies."
Margot smiled warmly.
“Thank you. I won’t ever force you to stay… it’s very dreary around me, and not somewhere a Magi like yourself would usually ever wish to be. I believe you, but if you ever did leave for any reason, I’d be okay with that.”
“I’d be satisfied in knowing you exist.”

"No one has a chance of beating Kriemhild Gretchen save for the Goddess."
Oriko listened to this, truly surprised for the first time in a long while. She hadn't seen even a glimpse of this, it seemed. "...I see. It's unfortunate, but I don't think badly of you for it. I respect that you've been able to keep yourself and others safe when there is a threat such as this inside of you."
"Fight it, that's all I can recommend. We can't let it happen so we have to fight this at every possible moment."
Logan sighed. "Alright then. Like I have said my own mental capabilities are not very strong. The reason behind this is a very odd story. I'd rather not go into detail upon how it happened but I have a second personality. The alternate personality seems to represent my less sane side. I call it Keehler. I'm not sure how but I've managed to keep the creature hidden from everyone, especially since I don't think I am the one who retains control." Logan picked up his tea and drank a bit more. When he finished he sighed yet again. "Please don't think badly of me for it."

Oriko sat down across from her, her expression melancholy. "If I had known about the wish you would have made, I would never have killed you. However...that event may not have occured in my timeline."
Tumblr media
"I'm glad you understand why I did what I did. I regret that I killed others in the process, however."

Merely smiling, Madoka seated herself in front of the seer.  Even though Oriko had killed Madoka once before, the goddess didn’t bear any ill will towards her.  After-all, she was only doing what she thought was right.
“It’s better than something false, isn’t it?  Even though it lead to a rather unfortunate event, it was still well that you acted to prevent a grand misfortune.”

Oriko walked calmly toward the other, her expression serene...and a little sad.
Tumblr media
"Margot, I don't have a family or anyone else to go back to. I won't leave you alone. I'm content to stay here with you."
She wasn't sure if all of that about the shadow was correct, but she spoke the truth.
taintedgardenofeden started following you
“You. You being here… you made her go, didn’t you?” Margot couldn’t conceive whether she was angry or… what. She was confused, especially. Margot thought for a moment with a blank stare.
“She probably left since I remember who you are. If I remembered… maybe that was her purpose. To stay with me until I remembered.”
“Maybe that’s really in your nature. You’re much too kind. But now… if you leave my Barrier… I’ll be alone. She was who most kept me company.”
Margot started to tear up. “You can’t leave me alone.”

Oriko shook her head, relaxed as ever. "I have no idea why that happened, I honestly don't."
Tumblr media
She stood up as well, though slower. "You don't have to change yourself to please me. I'm relieved to see you even as you are."
taintedgardenofeden started following you
Margot sighed, and laid her head into her hand. “If only I could change back to please you, Oriko. Nothing would make me happier, really.” She giggled.
“I’m surprised you would say something like that.” Margot took her free hand and laid it over her chest.
“It’s very touching.”
The silhouette tapped Margot on the shoulder.
“Hnn?” She turned around a moment.
It just stood there. Voiceless. The shadow wanted to plead to Margot.
“…Look, I’m sorry. I just, can’t.”
She vanished. Oriko’s shadow vanished into thin air.
“…Did you do that?” Margot stood up in a flash, gawking at Oriko.
