— biography ;

Alexander was born with everything. Except his father who had been sick and died just before his mother gave birth. He had plenty of uncles and cousins who helped shape him into the man he is today. He wished he had met his father but he is still a happy young man. His mother marries when he was two, and has 3 younger half sisters he adores, as well as a step father he likes. Alexander of Xander as his few close friends and his sisters call him. Life was perfect, until he turned twenty one

That was the year of tragedy. He had been in love with his childhood friend and planned to marry her. He deeply loved her so much and the wedding had begun to be planned, when one day they were riding horses, something they had done as children, even though he was a better rider. He jumped out her a high root and teased her that she could not make it. She tried and was thrown, breaking her back, killing her instantly. Her family never said, but at least Alexander knew it was his fault. And he couldn’t live with himself. After five years, Alexander knew he had to marry and so decided to come back to London and find a wife to continue his family name. Jacquetta was born to a minor noble family. she is the second oldest, with a sister younger than her and 2 brothers. while not destitute, the family was not well off. Jacquetta being the practical women she was, understood and expected to marry someone with a title, or at least well off. she understood that most marriages were based in a transactional manner, and was comfortable with that, however she was not going to marry someone she did not like, and did not respect her. when jacquetta was 18, she was approached by baron james covington. the pair quickly became friends. jacquetta and james adored one another, but they were not in love. james had almost married the love of his life, but she tragcially died just a week before their wedding. being a titled gentleman, he knew having no male reletaives, he would have to continue the line. since they were so close, james purposed to jacquetta, and the two of them got married. shortly after, she became pregnant, with a son christened james as well. they had a better marriage then some in the ton. however before her son turned 3, james died from being thrown from his horse. jacquetta decided the likely hood of finding a happier marriage than she had with james, was unlikely, however she has been looking for help raising her son as the next baron.

friedrich was annoyed he had to come to this event. lady danbury was a treasured friend of his aunt, the queen, and he could hardly tell her no, but still he wanted out of here as soon as possible. he would rather be in the library reading, or just alone, until he could go hunting again. he grabbed some wine, trying to avoid anyone. most of the young women were only interested in him because he was a prince, and the gentleman would hang around seeing if they could get the women he was not interested in. he hated being a prince, he always felt so alone. ❝pardon me❞ he went for the wine.

gareth couldn't help but over hear the youngest bridgerton girl and her excitement. normally gareth avoided these events like the plague, but he loved his grandmother more than anyone else in the world, besides his brother, and he couldn't refuse her invitation. anyone else he would've found a reason to not come or leave as soon as possible. he had seen the youngest bridgerton, hyacinth, around at his grandmother less formal affairs, since she hadn't been out yet, and he always found her an amusing person to talk to. she had this way about her that she wasn't scared of what anyone thought, and she had a charm about her that you couldn't dislike her even if you wanted. it was a trait he admired ❝i will tell my grandmother that her ball is full of magic. she'll be thrilled.❞

nicholas is the cousin of mary Sharma, nee sheffield. he was only 4 when his cousin Mary left england for india. he had fond memories of mary, but as he grew up, they never spoke of her. none of the sheffields did. around the age of 18, he found a letter from Mary, and he wrote back. for 2 years he wrote back and forth, and told his parents he was spending some time in india. he wanted to reconnect with his cousins. while they were not happy, he was the only male heir to the sheffield line, and therefore, they did not stop himnicholas spent 3 years in india, then traveled back and forth every other year. he became a big brother to both kate and edwina, and always saw kate as his cousin, not anything different.while he does want to get married, he is hesitant, mostly because he knows he's different then most men of the ton. he has never been interested in sex. he is no virgin, but he had fallen in love once, in india, and she then married another. he had tried to think about sex with someone else, but it was impossible. he realized he needed an emotional connection, and even then it wasn't on the forefront of his mind. he was afraid others would judge him….after all, aren't all men supposed to be obsessed with sex? when he was university he had an affair with a fellow male classmate, and it was the first time since his heart was broken that he felt alive again. however when it ended it left him confused. he had heard that some men prefer men and he had no issues with it, but he also likes women. as the Sheffield golden boy he couldn't be seen as anything other than a "normal straight male" he is confused and worries how he will be perceived if anyone finds out.

philip crane was is one of two sons of sir crane and his wife lady crane. philip and his brother george crane are very close, in both age, and relationship. his mother and father have both died, his mother when he was very young, and his father recently. he grew in the country and romney hall, enjoying the quiet life.

philip is not comfortable around many people. he is very happy being a second son, largely forgotten, and able to drift into the background. his brother was much more comfortable in the forefront, and that was fine with philip as his brother would be the next earl, and philip would be largely forgotten

from a young age, philip discovered he enjoyed plants. he enjoyed planting, watering, watching them grow. as he got older he loved trying to find ways to make the grow better, stronger, last longer. he studied every book he could find, and knows almost every plant known by just sight and a few characteristic. he would rather spend time in his green house, hours on end, sometimes forgetting to eat. he had a few school friends, but he was never close with them, in the same manner his brother was with his own, and while he is no virgin, he had only been with a very small number of women.

his father, sir thomas crane, hated philip. he wasn't likable like george, he wasn't strong in the same sense, he felt his love of plants and gardening made him weak. his father was abusive, physically and mentally, and philip got the brunt of it. george never stood by and let his father just do it, but he could not stop their father. george was always the one to give philip something for the pain or other comfort.

now that his father is dead, and george is now Sir Crane, philip decided to come to london, in hopes of continuing with his education in botny, and has only decided to enter society, to rebuild his family name, since his father had a bad reputation of being horrible. philip doesn't care for a match for himself, but he loved george, knows how good he is, and feels he should be able to find a wife without the stench of their father

colin bridgerton, third son, and third eldest of viscount edmund bridgerton and viscountess viloet bridgerton. he is known as the wayward son, the one with his head in a far off place. he loved travling, exploring, and having a good time. he enjoys flirting, jokes, and making everyone around him feel good.

colin was in a rare postion after his father died. his brother anthony, the eldest, assumed role as viscount and became head of the family, benedict was just old enough to start university, colin saw it as his duty to bring back laughter to his home, and it worked. he began more and more known as the devil may care brother, the good time one.

colin had always longed for travel. his father had shown his stories of famous explorers, tales on the content, and even mythogies. he wanted to travel and have fun, for himself, but also because his father had also wanted to travel, but became viscount himself rather young, and did not have the chance.

colin looks up to his older brothers more than he likes to admit to, is very close with his sister eloise and francesca, and is closest in age to daphne of all his siblings. he is protective, but not like his brother anthony, who as head of the family, needs to be front and center. colin is more on the sidelines, watching and making sure they are ok, but letting them make their own mistakes.

However now that colin is older, he wishes to be taken more seriously, however he is finding hard to shed his imagine in the family. sometimes he's not angry or sad about it, but there's a longing to be taken more as an adult, and not as a immature child.

especially since his latest travels he was gone for almost a year, where he had an affair with a young women, which lasted a few weeks, when she found out she was with child, colin was going to marry her, however as he was getting ready to write his family about it when she says she lost it. colin made his way home after she said she did not want to see him, and now he's even more lost
