Hey, I'm not done with this story, it's just undergoing changes and reworking, and I had to take some time for my own mental health.  I'm not going to commit to an upload schedule yet, but I do want to make it clear I'm not done with Forge.

"old friends" is an underrated relationship dynamic because it's such an innocent boring sounding term for what is usually some of the wildest shit imaginable. it's always like 'oh yeah we go way back, we have history' and then you find out that history includes sex, drugs, murder, divorce, war crimes and The Incident

👹 curly, 🌸 chamomilepaw, 🌺 poppypaw, and 💗 brightfang!!!

👹 Curly is often more relaxed around family than she is with friends, since she's worried about fitting in and not causing a scene, over time she'll get more and more relaxed and open with people but it takes time. In new environments they're more soft-spoken and nervous, especially in high stress like right now.

🌸 Chamomilepaw would really benefit from hearing something like "You're doing a good job" or "It wasn't your fault." She carries a lot of guilt over the death of a family member, and this will be touched on more in the future.

🌺 Poppypaw would either give herself an extra few inches of height, or the power of invisibility. She'd say it's for pranks, but in reality she really wishes that she could avoid others a lot and wants to disappear.

❤️ Brightfang was made specifically for this comic, and was the third overall cat drawn for it! He's gone through only small changes over time, like his crush on Slatestar or the fact that he's trans and is the main support for Chamomilepaw. He was inspired by my dad to be honest, and some online friends that I love. He's got a lot of heart, too much of it, and wants to make others happy before himself. He's gone from a background character to someone I want to put more empathsis on, especially when I address Poppypaw and Chamomilepaw's families and how he protects them from them.

sorry about the long absence, I've been finishing up my junior year of high school and now we're doing some college tours so my time is more spent on writing and research, but I'm trying to get my brain back onto Forge, so I'm open for questions for any of the characters we've met so far!
