Johnny finally stopped talking. His breathing deepened after a while, and that was when Tank rolled onto his other side and allow himself to relax.

Images of alien monsters plagued his mind, and every noise outside the house became a possible warning of their presence.

That's why he didn't move away when he felt Johnny's leg over his. It was comforting to know someone else was beside him, only if he momentarily forgot who that someone was.
