The fact that jean take a second to think in Wymack and how he cant belived that mens like him can be real, is so hard to see how after all the father figures in his life failed him, for him it is unreal, it is impossible for the coach to take care of him with such ferocity, he keeps repeating to himself that mens like that aren't real, but the coach showed him that there are people willing to take care of him, that some can be good fathers and He also deserve that protection
