Hello, I've finished episode 4 of my Ripley fanfic visual novel and updated a ton of things with the game! And to pay homage to Lovestruck, I've added a "oh no she's hot" villain. :-)

Updates for Night of Sin: Encore Stage (v2.04)

New main menu interface to allow faster loading and easier navigation.

Load/Save and gallery will be added in the next major version update.

New logo design inspired by MC's dual weapons.

New NPC/demon sprites.

New music track.

Cleaned up a lot of code.

Went back to each episode and did some ninja editing.

Available for Windows/PC or web browser (mobile ok)!

I'll ninja update any bugs I find, since I went through end edited a ton of code and writing, there might be errors in places. Or, let me know if you find any bugs~

Hello, I'm still working on this and I'll see it to the end no matter how long it takes. Sooooo, I had a huge months long writing block, it was so huge it took a while to figure how to get over it. But I broke the block and finished writing the rough drafts for the remaining episodes in Ripley's season 1.

It's extremely difficult to make up a brand new story for a character we barely have information on. And I'm a bit worried about figuring out season 2, 3, 4, then somehow connecting everything in a smooth story...but one thing at a time. I hope I can figure those out to write those and complete a full fanfic route for a character.

I finished coding and editing episode 4. Just have to finish the main drawing. Enjoy some out of context screenshots above. I'll announce in a couple days when the finished version is out. Hope ya all are as excited as I am to get this going again. :-)

After many, many months of editing the writing and trying to figure out the direction of the story, Night of Sin: Encore Stage (Ripley) episode 3 is finally released! I've learned a lot about story pacing working on this episode. Hope to keep learning as I continue my visual novel fanfic project.

Available for mobile/web-browser and Windows PC. This episode has a lot more choices and new illustrations unique to my game. As a reminder, this is a fan project and I'll never charge money or ask for payment. It'll always be free to read!

WIP for my visual novel fanfic, the drawing for ep3 main CG is coming along...

Besides studying how Lovestruck does their art, I also studied how they do their rough drafts. They make sure the colors work w/ the sketch before cleaning up and adding lines I think.

Fun fact: I finished the ep3 CG a week ago, but didn't like it when I was play testing so I deleted it. -- This current WIP is actually a redo and I love it a lot better! I coded in the initial CG to test and...The initial CG I drew didn't work out with the dialogue when I was animating it so it moved up/down. Ripley's head was off-screen and I needed Ripley and the MC upper bodies to be in the same 1280 x 720 screen.

It felt bad to delete a week's worth of work on a drawing, but it had to be done. The scene is very important.

I decided to cut out the last two scenes of ep3 and move them to ep4. Then add a bit more to the ending of ep3 and just end it there. So after I finish the main illustration and code it in, then test ep3...I should be able to upload it!

Some Night of Sin: Encore Stage fanfic updates!!! I'M EXCITED!!!

Made more progress on Ripley's ep3, it's almost done. This might be the longest episode I've coded. There's over 2000 lines of code and 10 scenes total! A lot more choices to choose from AND there are several new, never before seen in Lovestruck mini-CGs! I've already coded them in and I'm testing this episode out.

Still some drawings to do and have to code in scene 10, but for now...enjoy these out-of-context screenshots. :-)

I wanted the introduction for Dawn to be similar to Renzei. In Renzei's route he got the MC's wallet back. For this Pride special short story, I had Dawn get Onyx and SWM MC's phones back.

I feel excited now to continue writing Dawn's story in the VN spinoff sequel fanfic, but after I finish Ripley's ep3!

(Trivia: I combined Renzei and VN MC facial expressions together to get Dawn's facial expressions!)

Trivia from the Pride 2024 special short story. You can find the game on my itch.io page. I did a crossover between my two fanfics, so it's "Villainous Dawn of Sin: Pride Special"

I came up with the name of the sequel "Villainous Dawn" as an April Fools joke a long time ago, but decided to name the new MC "Dawn" because it's what comes after "Night", so it's fitting for a sequel fanfic title.

The skyline from the title image is a view of San Francisco from the Oakland side of the bay, which is fitting since the original VN MC is from Oakland.

When you meet Dawn for the first time, the scene plays out in a similar fashion to when you meet Renzei for the first time in the original VN series.

If you choose the cafe brunch scene, you'll get nostalgia lines spoken by Dawn that come from Renzei's first cafe lunch scene in his route.

If you choose the cafe brunch scene, you'll get nostalgic lines spoken by Onyx and Ripley inspired by a cafe scene in Andi's route.

If you choose the bay view scene, that's the same location Renzei spoke of his desires to leave San Francisco to somewhere far away. And Dawn questions why her parents left in the exact same location.

If you choose Dolores Park scene, the frisbee scene is inspired by child Renzei showing up in Razi's route.

Anyways hope everyone had a Happy Pride month. :-) I went to the SF parade and event, was quite fun.

I think one thing about Lovestruck I enjoyed was the special short stories. I really miss those, so I decided to write my own short story this year using my two fanfic universes!

Everything is coded in, just have to test it tonight and I can release it tomorrow. I really enjoyed writing the short story and I'm happy with how the story flows! I think it's just what I needed to break my writing block.

This is a crossover short story between my two fanfic visual novels, Villainous Dawn and Night of Sin. I'm always happy when I see my characters I design come to life. I put in a lot of Villainous Nights homages in this short story. Will we have gay brunch? Of COURSE!!!

I'm so happy with how she turned out. She's so beautiful, of course! Because her parents are both beautiful. :-)

Cleaning up the sketch of the MC that I'll introduce in my crossover fanfic visual novel special. I tried to take features from both parents for her facial expressions. Spent a lot of time combining both parents' facial expressions into something that's unique. Standing at 5'8'', she'll be the first MC that's taller and/or same height as the LI.

I'm really excited to work on this character and write from her voice for the short story. She's certainly a chip off the old block and I based her personality heavily on Renzei, but with some of my own flare.

After I finish this short story, I'll return to edit Ripley's episode 3. There are so many things I'm excited to work on, but I'm only one person doing everything. So thanks for everyone's patience. I'll keep making these Lovestruck inspired fanfic visual novels. :-)

Villainous Night of Sin, Pride month crossover special (short excerpt) SWM MC “Not to be cliche, but you’re our hero!” Windswept Beauty “Hero?” She lets out a laugh, her voice warm like the rising sun in the morning. Windswept Beauty “My dad tells me I’m more of a menace. A villain of sorts.” She reaches out and offers her hand in greeting. Dawn “My name is Dawn.”

It took a long time to design, but I think I'm ready to release concept art of the Villainous Dawn MC. Villainous Dawn started as an April Fool's joke a long time ago, to be a sequel of Villainous Nights. It follows Renzei's daughter as she returns to San Francisco. She will be the first "taller" MC standing at 5'8'', because Renzei is tall as well.

I'm also currently working on a special Pride Month visual novel fanfic crossover between my two fanfic series which will feature Dawn, Onyx, Ripley, SWM MC, and Vinca in a short story.

I was hitting a lot of writing blocks with editing Ripley's ep3, and I think taking a break to write this short story will help me a lot. Anyways hope you enjoy this small sketch and writing excerpt!

Some updates on what I'm working on for my fanfic -- I'm in my drawing phase right now because the writing/coding is mostly done.

Giant out of context spoiler, but I decided to give Vuzgamand a glow-up. Yes, I'm sorry I had a "oh no she's hot" moment yet again. I needed to change her design a bit for my fanfic. This is still a work in progress, but I wanted her design to scream sexy, dangerous, evil, boss-lady. I kept the same color theme and sorta the same clothing design. She'll have a weapons in my fanfic! And along with my Nitsa re-design, Vuzgamand will also have a "demon" version with altered skin and eyes.

Following Lovestruck tradition, yes...Vuzgamand doesn't know how to button up her shirt either. Boobies out, let's go!

After some writer's block on handling the ending of ep3...I've finally figured it out. I deleted my original ep3 ending because I wasn't happy with it. The new scenes are coded in now, there's a total of EIGHT scenes! Have a lot of drawings to do now, not really sure which scenes I want to add mini-CGs for. But most likely 4 mini-CG and 1 main CG.

Anyways, enjoy these out of context screenshots for now. Still a work in progress, but I'm excited to get ep3 done.

Hello how are doing?

Today i finally finished the second chapter of my Vinca Wren fanfic, and currently drawing the CG and mini CG.

I really loved the Yvette vs. MC scene and Ripley asking MC her type (my type is...SWM type😁).

PS: Where are the other options? I wanted to show the first CG but i can't find the img option, but you can see it on my AO3 profile Storytales90. Good luck with your work and just a curiosity: If you have to write a Vinca Wren route, how could and would be? Have a nice day. 😃

ah, the ripley scene is for ep3. it was a preview! i'm re-writing ep3 last scene because i wasn't happy with how the original was.

i think @rockchick82 had a great idea for a vinca route w/ a new MC. we decided to use a new MC because the original SWM MC would be with onyx.

i'm not experienced enough to write a vinca route, she's a very complex character. but i think if i were to write a short fanfic, i would also design a new MC.
