The case histories by Kate Atkinson
I completed Kate atkinson's book this week. First in the Jackson Brodie series - The case histories. The pace, details and story in the first three chapters is really impressive. It made me continue reading the book. But I finally gave it only ⭐⭐⭐s. The book is focused on people, on emotions, not on investigation skills of Mr. Brodie. In PI or Detective Fiction, I prefer the flow of Harry Bosch or Poirot where the authors bring out the characters' skill, detectives who make people reveal their nature.
