Meet the Floating Emerald City trio ^^

Expect a lore ramble later but enjoy some design notes:

Reginald has a burned out eye and broken leg from the fight against Aiden. He also has golden spurs to mimic Benedict. ^^ (Reginald is the tin man because he doesn’t realize how much he needs a heart—aka Milo.)

Being made of tin, Reginald is susceptible to rust. 🌊

Isa’s dress looks really wonky yeah sorry idk how to make them flow good. (Isa is the lion as she needs to find courage to leave the city.)

Isa is highly reclusive and prefers to spend her days in the palace walls with Benedict.

Milo has a broken eye from an altercation where Isa grabbed his face. He also has a crow feather rather than a chicken one. (He is the scarecrow because he forgets to use his brain sometimes. A lot actually…)

Normal weapons don’t really affect Milo. That being said—hi yes Milo is made of straw please do not let fire get anywhere near him. 🔥

Champion AUs make me so ill /pos

I have so many spin-off Vos Possession AUs it’s not even funny, but the Champion and ‘Neath AUs are the two I develop. And now that I think about it, the ‘Neath AU doesn’t even have any possession-

As for anguish, you picked the right AU to ask about:

After a year locked in the Sea Temple, Vos loses hope in being rescued… that is until the Admin pays him a visit with a proposition. Being offered not only freedom from the cage, but also the ability to go on adventures and have action in his life again, Vos jumps at the chance. There’s just one problem Romeo notes as he’s training his champion: Vos is homesick… and someone who is constantly thinking about old friends and how their life used to be cannot be fully focused on training.

What better way to make your champion forget about his past than to make him fight through it. Along with hybrid mobs, Romeo has Vos fighting look-alikes of his old pals. “You want to see your friends so badly? Fine! Have it your way!” The first time he creates an apparition of Jack, Vos immediately drops the defensive position to walk up to “his friend” and catches a sword swipe in the face. Romeo remarks they now have the same bad eye-

Even though Vos isn’t used to a sword, years of training (and a little gauntlet possession) do the trick.

Romeo notes that his champion fights better against the hybrid monsters and is more hesitant when against “Jack” and “Sammy.”

At one point, Romeo had Champion!Vos fight a hybrid look-alike of Sammy that is half elder guardian, but had to put that idea on the back burner because Vos was too afraid to fight it.

More on the aftermath later ^^ (Romeo setting his sights on a new champion- a certain “Slayer of the Witherstorm”)

Plus, I’ve seen two(?) other Champion Vos AUs and god I just think they’re neat-

yes, hello, good evening friend! I am here to bully your sopping wet cat blorbo!

Anyway, I just realised you had a Mage! Vos and like, tell me more 👀 I’m a sucker for magic so I just had to put in the ask

There are many ups and downs of being a fire magic wizard fella:

Pros: Obsidian cages aren’t really magic-y and thus don’t exist in your world!

Cons: Spells that cause you to turn to obsidian do exist…

As for the magic he studies, Mage!Vos is proficient in fire magic and alchemy. (Which is ironic later when he turns to rock…)

Mage!Vos can spawn fire and lava, but mainly uses it to more efficiently brew potions or create light sources. He is very fond of candles and sticks and often carries them in his hat in case he needs them. (He can snap and produce fire like a flint & steel.)

He can traverse the Nether rather easily and shift lava pools around.

In combat, his weapons of choice are splash potions. In dire situations, he will firebend, but hates how destructive it is and always has water buckets on hand for emergencies.

Bonus: Can’t remember if I’ve mentioned this… but before he fully turns to obsidian, Barbarian!Jack takes his hat and promises to return it along with a way to reverse the spell. Sure would be a shame if he returned and cured someone disguised as his friend and gave them the hat…
