One of the most important current infrastructure projects for the Yucatan real estate market is the planned "Peninsular Fast Rail" project. The project will benefit tourism and many local economies, as well as bring new opportunities to real estate buyers.
During a recent presentation of the project, the Governor of the state of Yucatan, Ivonne Ortega, stated that the project will bring better and faster transportation to many parts of the Yucatan Peninsula. The first stage of the project will connect the colonial capital of Merida to the Mayan ruin site Chichen Itza, one of the new Wonders of the Ancient World. Later stages will connect to Playa del Carmen in the east of the Peninsula, just south of Cancun, and to Campeche in the west, a new, up-and-coming tourist region, also offering both colonial and beachfront real estate.
The Governor also said the project is one of the most important and emblematic of our time, and emphasized the importance of carrying out the project.
"It is a project committed to developing tourist routes," said Ortega,"and also intended to move goods, building materials and food, economically, safely and with low emissions."
Each of these points to a specific benefit for North Americans interested in Mexico homes for sale in the parc central residence ec Yucatan area. An experienced Mexico broker will be able to guide a buyer to a property to take advantage of the following benefits, among many others:
Developing tourist routes - Besides offering the residents of Merida and surrounding Yucatan communities a new, relaxing option to travel to the Peninsula's many tourist areas; enjoying these sites and activities has been one of Yucatan's main attractions for expat real estate buyers.
Economic transportation of goods and food - This means lower prices and more availability and selection - always a good thing! Merida already benefits from large international stores like Walmart, as well as excellent local markets with a wide variety of well-priced products.
Low emissions - The beauty of the area's nature has also been one of the main attractions for both tourists and expat residents. As tourism grows rapidly, having a clean, affordable transportation option will help to protect this aspect of Yucatan.
Developing Merida as a central arrival point for the peninsula's tourism - While Merida is already one of the area's leading arrival points, it's central positioning and proximity to newly developing tourist areas gives it the potential gain an even more central role in the Peninsula's tourism. This means more services, more convenient traveling, and very likely increased property value.

Like all cities in Scotland, Dundee is not only the shopping area used by the city's residents but it also serves a wider rural population that could be located anything up to 150km (120 miles) away. Dundee city centre is like any other UK city, having shopping malls and yet still retaining a thriving 'High Street' environment as well.
The most centrally located shopping centre is 'The Overgate', which is along the Nethergate road and was built around the 'City Churches' and this Scottish city's Mercat Cross. Normal daily opening hours are 09:00 to 18:00; exceptions to this are Thursdays when it stays open until 19:30 and Sundays when it opens at 12:00 and closes at 17:00. Also, please be aware that opening times can vary on Public Holidays. Stores in this shopping mall include: Debenhams, Argus, Primark and Next; as well as the usual range of lower-end designer names like French Connection and Gap. There are also plenty of cafes and food stores to buy refreshments from whilst you're shopping. The shopping centre is less than a five minute walk for the railway station and the local bus services stop outside it, the centre has its own 700 space car park - with plenty of other car parking nearby. The Overgate is unique in Europe being the only shopping centre that opens on only one side, approaching the centre you see a two storey wall of glass curving around the City Churches in front of it.
The first purpose built shopping centre in Dundee was the Wellgate Shopping Centre to the north east of the city centre, on the Wellgate road. The centre is spread over three storeys and has fifty stores including branches of: BHS, Virgin MegaStore, Woolworths and J D Sports. This shopping mall is open 08:00 to 18:00, except Thursdays when it stays open until 20:00 and Sundays when it's open 11:00 to 17:00. Wellgate has at parc central residence ec least 200,000 customers a week through its doors, reflecting its popularity in a city of less than 150,000 residents. The mall is easily accessed by foot from the city centre, it is also served well by the local bus services and has its own 600 space car park. Car parking prices here, for a city centre location, are excellent - with daily rates lower than some cities hourly ones. Also located in the Wellgate Centre is the city's Central (main public) Library, which is very convenient if you've been dragged to the shopping mall but would actually rather read a book or research something. There are, of course, plenty of cafes in the shopping centre to relax in during a shopping trip here.
City Quay is the newest shopping centre in Dundee. Opened in 2002 it is a retail and leisure park located in the, listed and refurbished, buildings that were once the warehouses of the former Victoria Quay. The waterfront setting for City Quay is approached from the A92, Edinburgh to Aberdeen road, and has its own ample car parking space. Being on the north end of the old docks area this shopping centre is slightly outside the main city centre area, but is nonetheless within a couple of minutes walking distance of the bus station on Seagate and Trades Lane. City Quay tends to have retail outlets aimed more at the tourist, lifestyle and 'boutique' fashion trade than any of the High Street chain stores.
Many Roads in Dundee are still important for shoppers in the city. To date Marks & Spencer have resisted the temptation to relocate themselves into a shopping centre and maintain their store on Seagate, at the eastern end of the city centre. Other important city centre 'shopping' streets include: Nethergate, High Street, Panmure Street, Meadowside and Castle Street. On Reform Street, which in turn is off the High Street, the local Farmers and Continental markets are held over one week-end each month.
There are two main retail parks in Dundee. The Kingsway Retail Park is on the Kingsway West, A90 road, to the north of the city by the Camperdown County Park. This is the main retail park for the city and has branches of MFI, Toys 'R' Us, PC World and Homebase amongst others. However, its key feature is the largest Tesco Extra store in Scotland. The Gallagher Retail Park is just outside the city centre opposite the City Quay development off East Dock Street. Large stores here include Matalan, JJB and Next.
If you're looking for something a little more 'off-beat' then go to Perth Road or out of the city to nearby Broughty Ferry. The 'Izta' shop on Gray Street, at Broughty Ferry, has a great selection of quirky gifts or presents you could buy, instead of a tartan tea cosy or rug. Many of the items here have a Mexican theme to them, although there is no apparent connection between Dundee and Mexico, or even Central America in general.

1. Overview of the Country and Primary Education System: Tanzania covers 945,000 square kilometres, including approximately 60,000 square kilometres of inland water. The population is about 32 million people with an average annual growth rate of 2.8 percent per year. Females comprise 51% of the total population. The majority of the population resides on the Mainland, while the rest of the population resides in Zanzibar. The life expectancy is 50 years and the mortality rate is 8.8%. The economy depends upon Agriculture, Tourism, Manufacturing, Mining and Fishing. Agriculture contributes about 50% of GDP and accounting for about two-thirds of Tanzania's exports. Tourism contributes 15.8%; and manufacturing, 8.1% and mining, 1.7%. The school system is a 2-7-4-2-3+ consisting of pre-primary, primary school, ordinary level secondary education, Advanced level secondary, Technical and Higher Education. Primary School Education is compulsory whereby parents are supposed to take their children to school for enrollment. The medium of instruction in primary is Kiswahili.
One of the key objectives of the first president J.K. Nyerere was development strategy for Tanzania as reflected in the 1967 Arusha Declaration, which to be ensuring that basic social services were available equitably to all members of society. In the education sector, this goal was translated into the 1974 Universal Primary Education Movement, whose goal was to make primary education universally available, compulsory, and provided free of cost to users to ensure it reached the poorest. As the parc central residence condo strategy was implemented, large-scale increases in the numbers of primary schools and teachers were brought about through campaign-style programs with the help of donor financing. By the beginning of the 1980s, each village in Tanzania had a primary school and gross primary school enrollment reached nearly 100 percent, although the quality of education provided was not very high. From 1996 the education sector proceeded through the launch and operation of Primary Education Development Plan - PEDP in 2001 to date.
2. Globalization To different scholars, the definition of globalization may be different. According to Cheng (2000), it may refer to the transfer, adaptation, and development of values, knowledge, technology, and behavioral norms across countries and societies in different parts of the world. The typical phenomena and characteristics associated with globalization include growth of global networking (e.g. internet, world wide e-communication, and transportation), global transfer and interflow in technological, economic, social, political, cultural, and learning areas, international alliances and competitions, international collaboration and exchange, global village, multi-cultural integration, and use of international standards and benchmarks. See also Makule (2008) and MoEC (2000).
3. Globalization in Education In education discipline globalization can mean the same as the above meanings as is concern, but most specifically all the key words directed in education matters. Dimmock & Walker (2005) argue that in a globalizing and internalizing world, it is not only business and industry that are changing, education, too, is caught up in that new order. This situation provides each nation a new empirical challenge of how to respond to this new order. Since this responsibility is within a national and that there is inequality in terms of economic level and perhaps in cultural variations in the world, globalization seems to affect others positively and the vice versa (Bush 2005). In most of developing countries, these forces come as imposing forces from the outside and are implemented unquestionably because they do not have enough resource to ensure its implementation (Arnove 2003; Crossley & Watson, 2004).
There is misinterpretation that globalization has no much impact on education because the traditional ways of delivering education is still persisting within a national state. But, it has been observed that while globalization continues to restructure the world economy, there are also powerful ideological packages that reshape education system in different ways (Carnoy, 1999; Carnoy & Rhoten, 2002). While others seem to increase access, equity and quality in education, others affect the nature of educational management. Bush (2005) and Lauglo (1997) observe that decentralization of education is one of the global trends in the world which enable to reform educational leadership and management at different levels. They also argue that Decentralization forces help different level of educational management to have power of decision making related to the allocation of resources. Carnoy (1999) further portrays that the global ideologies and economic changes are increasingly intertwined in the international institutions that broadcast particular strategies for educational change. These include western governments, multilateral and bilateral development agencies and NGOs (Crossley & Watson 2004). Also these agencies are the ones which develop global policies and transfer them through funds, conferences and other means. Certainly, with these powerful forces education reforms and to be more specifically, the current reforms on school leadership to a large extent are influenced by globalization.
4. The School Leadership In Tanzania the leadership and management of education systems and processes is increasingly seen as one area where improvement can and need to be made in order to ensure that education is delivered not only efficiently but also efficaciously. Although literatures for education leadership in Tanzania are inadequate, Komba in EdQual (2006) pointed out that research in various aspects of leadership and management of education, such as the structures and delivery stems of education; financing and alternative sources of support to education; preparation, nurturing and professional development of education leaders; the role of female educational leaders in improvement of educational quality; as will as the link between education and poverty eradication, are deemed necessary in approaching issues of educational quality in any sense and at any level. The nature of out of school factors that may render support to the quality of education e.g. traditional leadership institutions may also need to be looked into.

Locally known as 'The City of Bridges' and 'The Steel City', Pittsburgh gets the name from having so many bridges, 446 to be exact and the reference to its former steel manufacturing days. Being the second largest city in the state of Pennsylvania, it has a population of 334,563 residents and has a growth rate of 7.3%. Crime index is at a high level of 558.3 considering the national average is only 320. Since the shutting down of the steel factories, industry concentration has moved into new up to date areas such as the biomedical technology, robotics, health care, nuclear engineering and of course tourism. The arts and cultural industry also contributes towards economic growth as well with jobs for the people and tax profits for the city which should help the slow recovery in the office space market in Pittsburgh (for serviced and temporary unit also). Mainframes are computers used mainly by organizations for processing complex applications. IBM first introduced mainframes in 1965. Its market is growing day by day around the globe. Now it has become essential to learn and be expert to make yourself a deserving candidate in the software industry. Training provides a quick and easy way to learn and mastery mainframe. Training is the only way to acquire a sound knowledge. It is very vital to be well trained as there is a very high demand for people who are skilled with IBM Mainframe. Term was used to denote large cabinet or earlier computers with processors and main memory.
It has an ability to process millions of instruction per second which can be expressed as MIPS. They have an ability to run and host multiple operation system which has become a standard nowadays.
Needs:
Integrating main frame into the mainstream of Information technology management results in a number of compelling benefits for the organization as a whole specially for the concerned staffs.
The increasing popularity of virtual machine technology means each mainframe system can now support more than a thousand virtual machines. It can "suit" applications that might otherwise have been hosted to other server platforms, even though the applications are more suited to the mainframe.
It helps in cost management, as it serves as a single service provider to all the terminals. The mainframe environment has evolved from centralized environment to a distributed environment. Change management and release management technologies have been parc central residence developed for the distributed environment to address major problems. It has been estimated that about 75 percent of all business data worldwide still resides on the mainframe and 85 percent of all business transactions are carried out on mainframes. Earlier due to centralized environment it wouldn't be easy to know the whereabouts to maintain privacy. Nowadays they are distributed and hence any user from any terminal can have direct access to the mainframes. It also helps to reduce business service disruptions.
Market Trends:
Migration projects are the current trend in the market. Latest survey shows that half of the organization using mainframes has major applications running on mainframes. As trend is growing equally threats have been increasing. Unethical professionals are using various techniques to reach and crack the secured zone to steal major data residing from these large organizations. They are targets for attack because they contain valuable data. Different vendors are always striving to optimize the architecture in order to reduce complexity and increase the flexibility of the framework. When organizations adopt distributed Information technology management processes for mainframe management, it can manage the entire IT infrastructure using a single integrated IT management infrastructure.
This new methodology permits management, recognizing the importance of the mainframe within IT infrastructure management in order to reap maximum benefits overcoming the traditional centralized architecture. They are being used and serving thousand of organization particularly banking sector where huge amount of data needs to be processed every hour, every day. It helps to process millions of transactions. Plus they have huge data stores with a lot of data warehouse applications that are hosting a huge amount of information within them.
An organization today believes that a single mainframe can reduce the cost of maintaining hundreds of servers worldwide. ERP software of large organization must be hosted on mainframe instead of maintaining on individual server in order to improvement transaction performance. Every organization needs security over their data hence its not always feasible to leave their vital business and customers data on the remote machine particularly third party and that too on different servers distributed over various geographical regions. The only solution to cater above need is to deploy everything on the mainframe to maintain flexibility, reliability and performance, which is being followed by the organization worldwide today.

As technology becomes more and more advanced, it seems like different areas become more interconnected, no matter how seemingly unrelated they might be. This is certainly the case for the burgeoning relationship between cell phones and home security systems. For individuals who are looking to install a high tech security system in their home, there are systems that are available, and even more impressive ones in development, that utilize cell phone technology to work in cooperation with security technology.
One kind of system that is already available includes both convenience and high tech home security. These companies offer a less intrusive method of installation by programming and testing the equipment at the office and then shipping it to the customer. The homeowner can easily install the equipment within ten to fifteen minutes, providing at least a small feeling of having done it yourself. There is a central control unit that can be placed anywhere within the home and wireless motion detectors that can be positioned anywhere within a 200 foot radius of the central unit.
A keychain or wireless keypad can be used to arm and disarm the home security system, helping to limit the amount of false alarms that can occur simply from someone coming home. The really interesting and high tech feature is located in the central control unit. This unit is connected through the phone line to local authorities, alerting them when the alarm has been set off. While this feature is not very unique on its own, what is parc central residence interesting is that if a burglar cuts the phone line, this unit has a cellular alarm signal that can still alert the 24-hour monitoring center. The unit also has a backup battery so if the power is cut the unit can continue working as well.
This type of home alarm system is great because it offers an additional sense of security by having the cellular signal. There are even more high tech security systems that use cellular signals, though they are in development, showing the future of security systems. These systems have wireless keys that are part of a cell phone and are read by special terminals at the front door of a home, only granting access to individuals who carry a phone with this pre-registered chip.
The phones also connect to the home server through the internet, allowing residents to turn air conditioners, heater, and lights on or off when they are not even home. Another great feature of this home security system is that residents can also take pictures of people at the front door through their cell phone to see who is at their door even if they are not home. This kind of technology represents the advanced systems that will be making their way on to the popular market in just a short while. As cell phones become more and more important in the lives of individuals, they will soon be able to control everything from their music collection to their security system right from their phone. The internet and cell phones allow people to keep an eye on their home even if they are thousands of miles away.

Many towns in Malaysia were founded at the mouths of rivers as they were an important means of transport. Today, these rivers provide an alternative means of taking in the sights of a town as well as the plant and animal life along their banks. Tourists should try one of the the several leisurely river safaris available in East Malaysia.
Top of the picks is a river cruise that has been made famous by the Hollywood movie called "Entrapment" shot in 1998. It is none other than the Malacca river cruise. From the jetty at Dutch Square, the boat proceeds upriver and passes under Tan Boon Seng Bridge. This bridge has historical significance as its capture by the Portuguese in 1511 divided Sultan Mahmud's Shah's forces, weakening them. As a result, the Portuguese were able to capture the town.
Soon, old shophouses come into view on the left and right banks. The next bridge that the boat passes under is the Chan Boon Cheng Bridge. It was originally built in 1908 and replaced by its present structure in 1963. During World War II, (1942-45), the Kempetai (Japanese Military Army) displayed the beheaded heads of resistance forces at the foot of the bridge to serve as a warning to the community. After another five minutes of wind, a footbridge by the eerie name of Ghost Bridge passes overhead. The origins of the name is a mystery today. Then, the boat passes parc central residences at east under the Old Market Bridge that links Kampong Hulu and the former Central Market. Fishing boats still berth here to unload their catches which are transported to the new Central Market.
Modern buildings dot the riverbank as the boat skims towards Jalan Hang Tuah Bridge that connects Jalan Munshi Abdullah and Jalan Hang Tuah. On the left are the Express Bus and Taxi Terminals. Further ahead, one can see the ruins of the Church of Rosario on the right. It is located near to St. Peter's Church, built in 1710. Your final sight is Kampong Morten, a typical Malay village with houses on stilts basking under the shade of swaying coconut palms. Moments later, the boat will make a U-turn and head back to the jetty. (Tel: 06-286 5468)
Kuala Terengganu offers a river cruise with several interesting stops. From the Shah Bandar jetty near the Central Market (locally referred as Pasar Payang), the tour boat departs upriver along the Terengganu River to Pulau Duyung (Mermaid Island), the first stop. A boat-building industry thrives on this island, which is also linked to the mainland by a bridge. Here, both luxury yachts and fishing boats are constructed by craftsmen without any blueprint, a skill inherited from their forefathers.
The boat then proceeds upriver along the Sungai Jeram (Jeram River), a tributary of the Terengganu River, to unfold a vista of rural lifestyle to its passengers. Women still wash clothes by the river, and the men cast lines to fish for prawns from sampan. Occasionally, small brightly coloured birds fly across the river or flit across the lush vegetation.
The riverine tour continues to Jeram River, with a stop at Kampung Jeram that holds a surprising sight. Amidst the traditional wooden Malay houses stands a Chinese temple with its red roof. According to legend, Admiral Cheng Ho of the Ming Dynasty sailed through the locality in 1414, and made a stop for supplies. His ship ran aground in the shallow waters of the river, and he came on land, spending several days with the villagers. In 1943, the Terengganu Chinese Cultural Association built a temple to honour the admiral. Called the Sam Poh Kong Temple, it comes alive during Chinese New Year and other festive days when devotees come to pray.
The next stop is the Pura Tanjung Sabtu Cultural Center, which has ten traditional houses. The centre belongs to the family of Tengku Ismail Tengku Su, a Terengganu prince, whose aim is to preserve the architectural heritage of his state. Two of the houses have been converted into guesthouses for paying guests (Tel: 09-615 3655); another serves as the private residence of the prince, and a third serves as a songket museum.
The final stop takes passengers back to the estuary of the Terengganu River to the State Museum Complex in Bukit Losong. The largest in the country, it consists of a Main Museum, Maritime Museum, Fisheries Museum, four traditional houses and herbs and botanic gardens. (To book the cruise, contact Ping Anchorage Travels and Tours: 09-6262020).
For nature lovers, a highly recommend river cruise is down the Sungai Selangor (Selangor River) at Kampong Kuantan to see the rhythmic flashing of lights produced by thousands of fireflies resting on mangrove trees. The phenomenon resembles the twinkling lights of Christmas trees and is truly spectacular. Locals call these fireflies kelip-kelip but they are actually beetles of the Lampyride family. On average each firefly measures six millimetres long. The males produce flashing lights in their thorax thrice every second. At the jetty at Kampung Kuantan, boat operators take their passengers (minimum two persons) upriver for about 40 minutes and turn back, allowing them the opportunity to observe this mating ritual of the insects.

The small nation of Slovenia is in Southern Europe at an almost exactly central location, making it one of only a few countries to be alternately considered Western and Eastern European. It is primarily landlocked, though it does have a small Mediterranian coastline to the South West and the associated weather climate.
The most interesting aspect of Slovenia's location in Europe is how central it is. Depending on who you ask, you will get different answers about whether it should be considered Western or Eastern Europe. This unique placement allows Slovenia to be a mix of the two, offering the climate and opportunities most usually associated with Western Europe, but at East European prices.
Having gained independence from the Former Republic of Yugoslavia in 1991, Slovenia has still maintained a lower price than any Western European counterparts, considering cost of property, living and accommodation for tourists.
The countries linked by land to Slovenia are a good representation of this East / West divide. Italy is situated to the West and the two countries share coastlines on the Gulf of Venice. Croatia lies on the south and east, Austria to the north and Hungary to the North East. Although Hungary, Croatia and Austria are largely considered to be Eastern European, Slovenia's link to Italy is what gives it it's half-and-half status.
As well as this, Slovenia plays host to four different geographic and weather regions: the mountain ranges of The parc central residences at east Alps and The Dinarides, the location of the dried out Pliocene Pannonian Sea, known as the Pannonian Plain, and the Mediterranean Sea. This is all because of it's wonderful location in Central Europe. All of this variety is an enticing smorgasboard for any tourists, as with Slovenia it is possible to experience all of these vast geographical differences and climates without needing to go through Passport Control.
It really is possible for someone to visit all of these areas in a matter of days. Slovenia is only estimated to be around 8,000 square miles in size, making it one of the smaller European countries. With a population of less than 2 million, it also has one of the lowest population densities in Europe. Slovenia has 256 residents per square miles, which is minute compared to a country like neighbouring Italy, which has 505 residents per square mile.
One of the main contributing factors to this is how rural Slovenia is, buried as it is amidst the Alps. As one of the least crowded countries not just in Europe but in the world, it is a haven for any European visitor who is used to the hugely populated towns and cities of home.
Slovenia is also able to boast an interesting prospect to tourists in that, within Slovenia, it is possible to both sunbathe and ski. Although the climate is not high compared to some countries, with an average temperature of 21 degrees celcius in July, it is certainly warm enough to indulge in a little tanning. On the alternative side, the ski resorts of Slovenia are served by an average temperature of -2 degrees celcius in January.
