hoping tonight i get to dream im a pretty swan calmly swimming under the shimmering moonlight with my pretty swan partner instead of the boring nightmare ive been having since forever where i have to pee and cant find an available toilet with a door thar locks properly [bro i reposted this so many times and i still havent had that dream. this time im reposting because i had forgotten to add the reflection of the swans (and a few bushes) on the water and i only realized when someone said "vampire swans!". i loved that comment, probably the cutest one i ever received so yeah they are no longer vampires but they were on a past life]

A new day begins, and summer’s brilliance radiates at Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. The sun burns through the fog and bursts through a burl oak tree on a serene Minnesota morning, casting light upon magnificent wildflowers. Goldfinches, song sparrows and yellow warblers are common to see this time of year on the refuge, and the warmth of summer brings a variety of dragonfly and damselfly species.
