I have no idea when would this event occur in Jack’s main timeline or how would that happen, but I am extremely tempted to have Jack be adopted by the entities who are based on the archetypal “Prince Charming” and “Damsel in Distress”, like how Jack is based on the archetypal trickster.

So, for those who haven’t read the document on Jack’s ‘original’ timeline ( which is located in the blog description ) that would end after the Jack Frost era as he was able to catch and possess in a human body for the very first time, these are the nursery rhymes / folklores that I place in order to make up his original timeline with his age ( bound to change once I do more research on the developments of age based on certain negative influences ) at the time:
Little Jack Horner: 8
Jack Be Nimble: 10
Jack and His Stepdame: 12
Jack and the Beanstalk: 18
Jack the Giant Killer: 18
This Is the House That Jack Built: 18
Jack and Jill: 25
Jack Sprat: 26
Stingy Jack: 30 when he tricked the Devil and made the deal with him to claim his soul after ten years / 40 when the similar event occured again and made the deal to never have his soul claimed / 41 when his original body died
Jack Frost: Probably lived as the Jack Frost, the Embodiment of Winter / Winter Spirit, until he was spiritually over seventy years old before he caught and possessed the first body.
Keep in mind that when Jack Alez first came into existence in the universe through the power of Faith, he became first conscious automatically having every memories of every folklore Jacks that have existed, but because the ten eras mentioned above are the most popular nursery rhymes / folklores to be told and remembered, he would have dreams of and visions relating them frequently to the point he would connect them together and make it into his own concrete backstory.
Although during these ten eras, because there are so many versions of how these events / songs are told, anything can happen to him as he have multiple timelines of them ( such as in the “Jack Be Nibble” era, while Jack would end up getting burnt in one timeline, in another timeline, he wouldn’t ).
This gets highly confusing, but because Jack Alez is my folklore Jack as his creator, he is forced to think that the timelines I had explained to you guys as the readers would be his real timelines and any other retellings are just alternative timelines. He doesn’t have to acknowledge them being his real timelines, but he would often get these senses that would make him feel that they are and would sometimes end up thinking that they are and he’s just refusing to acknowledge his real memories.

Jack does sleep with a night light on nearby. He hates the darkness— it reminds him too much of his time travelling in the Netherworld with nothing and no one by his side except for the ember that came from Hell, given from the Devil to guide his way through. Even he sometimes doesn’t want to sleep because he’s afraid where would the darkness take him in his sleep, but he gets exhausted extremely easily due to the constantly narrating and this heavy numbness in him that he have to carry forever because he is a winter spirit. He wants to sleep with someone to make him feel he will be okay in the next day he usually summons the Devil to be slept with since he doesn’t trust many others to be that close to him. When Jack does ask anyone but the Devil to sleep with him, that can only mean that he feels protected and comforted being with them, especially from his greatest fear.
