All of my lessons are already covered in my final week of internship. It was a week planned by the school; teachers, students as well as principal where all of us were given surprises and gifts from our classes. Additionally, farewell party was planned and conducted smoothly with a huge cake and our pictures on top of it. Other teachers wore beautiful dresses and outfits just to take pictures with us. We had encountered a very emotional yet blissful moments throughout our teaching journey at SMK Pandan Mewah. I hope for nothing but the best for my students, teachers, fellow internship friends, mentor, supervisor as well as those who are indirectly involved during the journey. Finally, we were asked to give speeches during our last day at SMK Pandan Mewah. Some of my friends almost shed their tears talking about the things that all of us had to experience at the school. I expressed my heartful gratitude to everyone and I am delighted to have given this chance to be a teacher. Thus, ends my internship journey at SMK Pandan Mewah.

WEEK 19 ( 15-18 MAY 2023) (W19) 5/15/23 Observations with Miss B

(W19) 5/18/23 1 Aspiration made a surprise for me after finding out that I will finish my internship on 26/5/23

It was a nerve-wrecking week as well as emotional week for me. At first, I was very careful on how I would present myself during the observation with Miss B. However, I am lucky to receive such great mentors and supports with the people around me especially endless useful feedbacks from other teachers, partners as well as supervisor. As a consequence, I get to be very happy while receiving surprises and celebrating events before I end my internship. I am one of the most blessed person to have experienced and met so many kind people during my internship journey at SMK Pandan Mewah. I can never thank anyone enough. Preparation: As for my preparation, I have prepared a lot of exercises sheets as well as my personal mind maps and other techniques to teach students on scoring higher marks. Additional social activities were also prepared to cover any time left during the session.

Challenges & Solution: I find it challenging to convince students to get everyone motivated to complete revision exercises. However I overcame by explaining every exercises questions in a much easier way.

WEEK 18 (10 - 14 MAY) (W18) 10/5/23 Handle police cadets independently

Another most adventurous week of my journey as a teacher was leading the co-curriculum activities independently. In order to be great at coaching and guiding the cadets, I had to flash backs on how things were when I was doing my co-curriculum activities at school. Surprisingly, some of the things taught were still the same as it was in my school back then. I conducted sharing session as well as march pass for the students. Other than that, me and my internship partners painted the walls of the Language Lab and I am so grateful everything turned out amazing.

Preparation: I had prepared myself with Youtube knowledge on survival day at an island, forest and other remote areas. I prepared some of the most interesting survival movies in storytelling my students to get their attention on being a great survivor at any places and as a great cadet with safety as top priority. I continued things with the march pass within my prior knowledge.

Challenges & Solution: Some of the challenges that I encounter are that I do lack of practical knowledge on how to light up fire using raw materials in a faster pace and being innovative with sticks and dried leaves. However, I studied through and managed to be successful with the help of other teachers' guidance.

Swot analysis: Strength: Able to discover the right knowledge to deliver and to attract students' attention. Able to grab students' interest in being a good survivor. Weakness: Need to improve practical skills on survival activities. Opportunity: Able to identify students’ preference and improve learning approach. WEEK 17 (05 - 07 MAY) (W17) 3/5/23 Curriculum Activity & Improving Language Lab

(W17) 5/5/23 Play Charades (class activity)

It was a fun week where everything went smoothly starting with the lesson activities, co-curriculum activities in improving languages as well as social activities like charades, scenarios, spelling bees, etc.

Preparation: As for my preparation, I had already done my lesson plans to conduct for the classes assigned. I also prepared some list of fun questions to ask the students for a great conversation while playing the social activities in the class.

Challenges & Solution: Some challenges that I faced are that being a teacher, we need to be firm during serious situation and flexible during fun time. However, I managed to be a great teacher by consulting the students on what they need to understand during different situations.

Swot analysis: Strength: Able to adapt and understand students’ problems. Other than that, I have also learned a lot while training the students like new skills discovery, tactics and strategies. Weakness: Tend to slightly lose seriousness during serious situations. Opportunity: Able to identify students’ preference and improve learning approach. Threat: No threats.

WEEK 14 - (17-18 APRIL) WEEK 14 - WEEK 16 (HARI RAYA HOLIDAYS)

This is by far the most relaxing and fun week where as usual, I conducted my teaching and activities in class. On top of that, me and my internship partners received cookies from our mentor to celebrate Hari Raya holiday. We were all in the mood to celebrate Hari Raya and the students looked very eager to go back to their hometown as well. Preparation: As for my preparation, I had already done my lesson plans to conduct for the classes assigned.

Challenges & Solution: Some challenges would be understanding the examiners' schedule for each classes. However, I made my personal schedule where I am able to understand the schedule without committing any mistakes as an examiner.

WEEK 13- (10 - 14 APRIL) (W13) 10/4/23 Launch Ceremony of the Nilam & Semewah Inspiration Program

As I move on with each weeks, I have found myself in a very comfortable and relaxed situation where I do not rush for my lesson plans. I took things slowly and eventually everything meets their deadlines. This was an educational as well events week where students also get to present their skills and strategies in presenting and learn new things. I had also reviewed and advised most parts during presentation session backing up with my life story of being a presenter in the class. Other than that, I enjoyed the events conducted by the teachers.

Preparation: As for my preparation, I had already done my lesson plans to conduct for the classes assigned. I prepared myself with decoration and other necessary things needed for the events.

Challenges & Solution: Some challenges that I faced are that some students actually also despise activities. However, I have overcome with a really great convincing skill until they all had fun together during my classes.

Swot analysis: Strength: Able to adapt new strategy while teaching and understand students’ problems. Weakness: Need to improve convincing skills for students that despise some approaches that I apply in class. Opportunity: Able to identify students’ preference and improve learning approach. WEEK 12 - (05 APRIL)

I was ready to conduct my lessons with an additional activity which is presentation for the topic 'Express Yourself'. This activity lets students to discuss their activities and what do they experience in their daily life routine. Preparation: As for my preparation, I had already done my lesson plans to conduct for the classes assigned. I also conducted a little session on how to present smoothly and assigned the activity.

Challenges & Solution: Some challenges that I faced are that the classes that I teach consist of students who are playful at all time and I tried to play with my vocal variety so that the students are alert on when to be serious and when they can be playful.

Swot analysis: Strength: Able to adapt and understand students’ problems. Weakness: Not enough knowledge to discover methods to teach students. Opportunity: Able to identify students’ preference and improve learning approach. Threat: No threats.

WEEK 11 - (30 MARCH)

It was an entertaining week as I volunteered to decorate stage and throne for beloved teachers' retirement ceremony.

Preparation: As for my preparation, I had already done my lesson plans to conduct for the classes assigned. I also conducted many activities in the class such as hangman, Wordwall games, crossword puzzles and many more.

Challenges & Solution: Some challenges that I faced are that the classes that I teach consist of students with mixed proficiency. I have to be more sensitive with my word choices while coaching so that the students are able to understand more.

Swot analysis: Strength: Able to adapt and understand students’ problems. Other than that, I have also learned a lot while training the students like new skills discovery, tactics and strategies. WEEK 6 - WEEK 9 (SCHOOL HOLIDAYS) WEEK 9 (15 - 18 MARCH) Teachers' meeting, Citizens Club meeting, Co-curriculum meeting & student affairs meeting as well as Celebration Ceremony for Budi Semarak Kasih "Sayang Semewah Sejahtera".

Week 9 came with a lot of surprises and celebrations after the long holiday. I started the week with meetings for academic as well as clubs and events. Other than that, for the celebration of Budi Semarak Kasih, I volunteered to do a singing performance as well as acting. This could be on of the most memorable times at SMK Pandan Mewah as I did not expect I would enjoy the event very much.

Preparation: As for my preparation, I had already done my lesson plans to conduct for the classes assigned. I also prepared and wrote down important points during meetings and performed my best during the celebrations.

Challenges & Solution: One of the challenges that I faced was that I had encounter being nervous while performing on stage. However, as the times passes, I was already very comfortable and confident doing it.

WEEK 5 - (14-17 FEB)

It was an entertaining week as I was handling many activities for the lower secondary students which are form 1 and form 2. The best thing is that the students have already started to feel comfortable around me and we could easily built rapport as well as respond to my questions in English. Other than that, we were very excited for the school holidays which involved from Week 6 - Week 9.

Preparation: As for my preparation, I had already done my lesson plans to conduct for the classes assigned. I also conducted a little session for A Word A Week activity and was already excited and learned a lot of advices and tips to be a great coach for the men and women activities.

Challenges & Solution: Some challenges that I faced are that the classes that I teach consist of students with mixed proficiency. I have to be more sensitive with my word choices while coaching so that the students are able to understand more.

WEEK 4 ( 07 & 08 FEB) End of yearly school activities

My day starts with burning excitement as it was only my fourth week and I'm already coaching on basketball students. Meanwhile, I have built some rapport with most of the students while coaching and teaching them. The yearly activities ended smoothly with a selfie of the week.

Preparation: As for my preparation, I had already done my lesson plans to conduct for the classes assigned. I also conducted a little session for A Word A Week activity and learned what it has to take to be a basketball coach.

Challenges & Solution: Some challenges that I faced are that the students have distinctive character where some of them are shy to speak up during activties.

WEEK 3 - (30 JAN - 02 FEB)

The week continues with handling form 1 and form 2 activities after the examination week. As I've got prior knowledge about some team sports, I had given tips and advised that were useful for the students. Other than that, I had also guided Indoor Game for form 1 and form 2. Indoor games are especially fun and chaotic with everyone's laughter. Meanwhile, managing students for outdoor activities require a lot of guidance and safety as the priority overall.

Preparation: As for my preparation, I had already done my lesson plans to conduct for the classes assigned. I had revised my previous knowledge on coaching and training as well.

Challenges & Solution: Some challenges that I faced are that the classes that I coach are aggressive and tend to be very competitive towards one another which also may give negative vibes to each students.

CNY HOLIDAYS (23 & 24 JAN) WEEK 2 (25-27 JAN)

My second week starts fresh after a long weekend on the Chinese New Year's holidays. It starts with announcements on celebration of Chinese New Year among teachers and students. All of my students are very eager to decorate the class as I have also prepared some materials for a great and appealing class appearance. My students especially the lower secondaries are very happy to be working on the upcoming events as they get to have fun while learning with me.

Preparation: As for my preparation, I had already done my lesson plans to conduct for the classes assigned. I have also allocated budget to spend for little decorations to spikes up the students' mood in class.

Challenges & Solution: Some challenges that I faced are that I encounter students are very different, active and slightly aggressive to do activities outside class instead of in class.

Swot analysis: Strength: Able to adapt and understand students’ problems. Weakness: Not able to control students' behavior during a certain time only. Opportunity: Able to identify students’ preference in doing the duties assigned outside class. Threat: No threats.

WEEK 1 - (16-19 JAN)

My day starts with burning excitement as it was finally my first week of real teaching after ROS and other ice breaking with the students. I am anticipating more challenges and beautiful days ahead. However, my first week of teaching falls on the examination day and retirement ceremony of Mrs. Norlia Binti Mohd Ali.

Preparation: In terms of preparation, I had already completed my lesson plans for the courses allocated to me. The majority of the classes I manage are from lower secondary. As a result, I've planned a small get-to-know-you activity for each of the kids' learning preferences or methods. I was also assigned a duty as the emcee of the retirement ceremony. I am glad that everything went well on the event day. Problems and Solutions: One of the difficulties I encountered was that the pupils in my classes had varying levels of skill. As a result, I need to find new ways to instruct pupils of diverse proficiency.

Challenges & Solution: Some challenges that I faced are that the classes that I teach consist of students with mixed proficiency. Thus, I also need to discover more methods to teach mixed proficiency students.
