wow, i don’t mean this so aggressively jfgdjfh but as the time passes I become more and more sure about just one thing in life:

we can be anything we want to be, as long as we believe in ourselves and it’s something they talk about in almost every children’s movie and I don’t remember giving it much thought as a child, cause it always seemed so obvious. But believing in yourself and that you can do anything as long as you try and desire it isn’t something we can bear to do as we grow older. I mean, yes, of course I’ll try so much, but I often find myself preoccupied that I’m going to fail, because “the task is so difficult” or maybe cause there are so many things in my head at once, that I don’t take the time to actually try for the thing I feel like I desire the most. And I’m not talking about non-realistic scenarios, like courting someone for the longest time, when they don’t show any kind of interest back, I personally find this very unhealthy. I mean about all the things you say you want to be or do, you say you can’t draw, or cook well, or be a hairdresser, or a doctor or make music or maybe you want the confidence to dress in a particular way or meet new people let me just say you can do it we can do it hell, I’ll draw until I make something I like, I’ll write lyrics until I don’t rip the pages off my notebook anymore, I’ll practice guitar until I can play Wonderwall at least, and things like that We are impatient but it is so much easier if you visualize that you’re already there manifest what you want to be, what you want to accomplish don’t let your insecurities stand in the way, you don’t have to explain anything to anyone, you don’t have to prove yourself for dressing in a particular style, who cares if they won’t like your hair or your tattoo or your taste in music You believe that it’s cool and you enjoy it as part of your life and part of yourself. And it goes without saying that while you do what you want to do, you always have to be respectful and understanding. Don’t get in the way of someone else, it’s not just that it’s our duty to respect other human beings, we should always ask ourselves if we really need that negative energy we might bring to someone else okay, I’m off to go play guitar and not worry about not being able to play some songs at the moment, cause I know I will get there :))
