Summary:
Gabriel Santiago has figured out a way to save Earth from ever having been destroyed in the first place. All it will take is for Bellamy and Clarke to use the Stone to travel back to 21st-century Earth. Unfortunately, this might involve some danger for all the Ark and Grounder survivors, and besides, Bellamy has some personal issues to take care of before he can go off on a mission with Clarke.
But then… the mission turns out to be not as straightforward as they’d thought. Not to mention the problem of both Bellamy and Clarke trying to save the world while also navigating their own unacknowledged feelings for one another.
Here it is!
I’m very excited to finally be posting the first chapter of my multi-chapter canonverse fic wherein Clarke and Bellamy try to save the world.
It’s definitely not a Season 7 fixit because you can’t fix the unfixable, but is more of an alt Season 7 story, with a few (very few) Season 7 elements sprinkled in. It mostly takes place on 21st-century Earth.
Chapter 1 is the setup chapter, so I may post Chapter 2 in a couple of days just to get readers headed in the right direction. After that, fingers crossed, I hope to post a chapter a week.
It promises be a long and involved adventure — with a side of Bellarke romance — and I really hope you enjoy it.

The 100 (s1-s6): a shi-fi show that focuses on humanity and how far humans can go in order to survive or save the people they love. It shows the worst of humanity but also the best, with the hope that humans can ultimately change and do better/be the good guys. Clarke Griffin is the hero of the story and the main character. Bellamy Blake is also the hero of the story and the second main character. Bellarke is the central relationship of the show, they’re the head and the heart, saving humanity together.
The 100 (s7): Clarke Griffin is sidelined for the majority of the season and then villainized because apparently she was ‘never really the hero’. Bellamy Blake is also sidelined for ten episodes, then villainized, then killed off in the most disrespectful yet underwhelming way possible. Bellarke suddenly doesn’t matter (both as a relationship and as humanity’s leaders) and Clarke can just kill Bellamy over a book with no consequences whatsover. Finally, it shows that humanity is terrible and selfish, and is never going to change. There’s no hope to do better so the best possible outcome is that everybody ‘transcends’ to a place that isn’t much different from the CoL, and the human race goes entirely extinct. :)

when it comes to time travel i do love it when a show, a film, or a book is willing to go all in with the mind bending stuff. TTTW tv show goes places the film certainly didn’t and maybe even the book really going all in with the concept and actually addressing some of the undertones here.

the produces wouldn’t be doing this unless they thought there would be a draw to fans that would get them to watch.

you know the very fact that this is even being talk about means some execs think that them together are a draw to people. as in people will see them together in this film and be more inclined to watch it.
the fans liked them together, the end of the 100 made no one happy
one day i’m going to tell Jason that to his face
