Post 4 FTP
Strengths:
Affordable price
Classic FTP Logo
Built customer satisfaction / loyalty
Tons of product that branch off from just clothing
Althought products being limited can be a weakness, its also a strength making consumers want something even more as it feels special to them
Weaknesses:
Products are limited, once sold out you can't get unless you pay resell
Doesn't have an instore, only online shop
Opportunities:
Well known street wear brand
Brand as a whole has gotten bigger in street wear culture
Diversification of products, from clothing, to accesories, to sports
improving ethics using more durable and sustainable renewable resources
Threats:
Controversial brand to others, as "Fuck" is in the name of the brand
Wearing certain designs of clothing can get you introuble, in public places(happened to me in highschool)
My two recommendations
Collaborate with more brands in same field, us fans love to see these collobarations.
2. Make more accesories that you can use in your everyday life.

Zac the owner of FTP has always had great business morals. He has mentioned before he has gotten offered a ton of money to sell his brand out, which would be such an easy cash grab for him, but he didn't as he wants to be in control of his own brand as he cares about his supporters. As FTP has been growing at a great pace, its maintained its code of ethics improving and expanding its employees to keep up with the demand of getting its products into the hands of the consumer at a fast speed. FTP has been making its products more sustainable by improving and switching to more higher quality and more durable garments that will lost a longer time reducing emissions and pollution. FTP has had multiple collaborations that use cause-related marketing. One example was Zac had made a breast cancer tee, where all proceeds went to charity to help those in need.

The Brand I chose FTP, is a clothing streetwear brand owned by Zac Clark. His headquarters is here in LA, as he also lives in LA. One thing that makes FTP stand out from other street wear companies is the cost competitive advantage. FTP’s prices are lower than other companies such as Stussy, without losing any quality aspects. Zac has also planned stagetically for the future of his company, by switching to better and more durable guarments for all his clothing to avoid shrinkage and fading. FTP wants to prioritize and keep his customer satisfaction at a high level rather than low, hence why he is switching to better garments. One thing FTP does really well in is diversification is by the implementation of making tons of different accessories that appeal to many others who are not fans of their clothing, such as basketballs, ping pong sets, you name it they have a bit of everything.

Post 1 - FTP The brand I will be doing for my blog this semester will be FTP (Fuck the Population). I chose this brand, because it is a brand I have really liked the last few years supporting them and I still continue to support them. Zac the owner of FTP has always stuck to his roots of always keeping it real and never overtaxing his products. Zac has always liked being for the people and even through his great success and accomplishments he still doesn’t over charge his products as he doesn’t feel is right. Another great thing I love about FTP is how their stuff is limited, Once an item sells out you can never get it again, which is great for Marketing as it makes your item(s) feel more valuable as others can't get those items just by going to a store.
