Day 30
Saturday, February 20th 
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh the final day of the consumption project! This has been a wild month. Some of these posts were made on good days and some of them were made of bad days. I’ve enjoyed sharing some of my feelings and thoughts but this was also a lot of work to keep up with, every day is a big commitment. On my last day I went to the Minneapolis Institute of Art. I woke up early for the day because my parents were coming to visit before they went to Mexico. I got up at 8 and got ready for the day. When my parents got there my dad fixed my futon for me and my mother and I caught up on my life. I haven’t seen they since I came back in January and it was nice to see them. After that we went to Potbelly’s to grab some food and I drove them to the airport. After I dropped them off I bought a friend with my to the Institute and we walked around for hours looking at art. Later I drove him home and went back to my own house for the rest of the evening. My screen time for the day was 4 hours and 17 minutes. 
For the eating part of the day the first thing I had was Potbelly’s. I had the Wreck sandwich which was full of meats and vegetables. I loved it and then I also had some cheddar and broccoli soup to go with it. I ate them both in the car on the way to the airport I was so hungry. At the museum I got some coffee and walked around with it while I gazed at all of stunning works of art. For dinner after I arrived home later at night I had noodles like always. My roommate Jade them with just better and some garlic powder and they were wonderful. One thing I learned about myself over this entire thing was that I eat far too many noodles. 
Today was a great one. The museum was incredible, I have never been to it but I am so glad i went. I want to go again soon hopefully next month. We went to the top floor and it was full of all types of statues and painting and I was really just awestruck. The rest of the was quiet and I just read on my phone,. It was really good to see my parents too so I was happy. My top apps for the day were Kindle, Snapchat, and Tiktik. They were almost all regular except for the Kindle one, which was dependent on my tiring day and how much I wanted to read. My sleep quality for the night on a scale of 1-10 is a 6. I was trying to sleep well but I was excited to see my parents and to go to the museum so it was difficult. Well so much for my last entry, until the next project!

Day 29
Friday, February 19th
Friday is always a wonderful day of the week. I started the day by waking up at 11 in the morning. It was a nice sleep up catch time and I felt great. I was going to do homework but decided to procrastinate until later in the weekend. After getting ready for the day I headed into the kitchen and found a bag of nacho cheese spilled all over the fridge. I used the next hour to go through the fridge and to get rid of all of the old food we have had in the fridge since we moved in. This made me feel so much better and our apartment smell less weird. After that i headed to work for the day to watch Owen for a while and to clean the house. I played a shopping game with him for an hour while his parents for ready to go out for Friday night. After they left at about 4 I cleaned every inch of their house for like 3 hours. My screen time for the day was 2 hours and 12 minutes. 
 I left for home at 7 that night and went to a friends birthday thing. After that I had painting night with my roommates and went to bed at midnight. The day for eating was kind of a random one. I started the day off by eating a banana and an orange before heading off to work. I did not have a chance to eat anything at work besides a beef stick. I was starving by the time I got to my friend’s birthday so I ate two pieces of cake. When I got home to go to painting I had some pesto. It was so good because I was just really hungry. I didn’t have a chance to do yoga and I regretted it because man I felt stiff. Luckily I did get a good workout from cleaning.
The day was a pretty good one. I had nice bonding time with all types of friends and it was full of fun activities. I enjoy cleaning it helps me to relieve stress and so did the painting. I haven’t had a painting night in a very long time and it was incredibly fun and relaxing. My top three apps of the day were Spotify, while I cleaned I listened to music. Then I had snapchat and messenger as the other ones while is also regular for me. My sleep quality for the night on a scale of 1-10 was a 8. I slept pretty good and I didn’t even need a night. One more day of this only!

Day 28
Thursday, February 18th 
It’s Thursday at last. All the classes are over for the week by the time I am writing this. I am incredibly relived it is over as always. I started at 9 this morning which we all know by that this is incredibly early for me. I got ready for the day by showering and doing my hair. Which I almost never do so I that was an impressive feat on its own. I then met up with a friends. a little after 10am and we walked to Coffman Union together. We went to the bookstore there to look at the bargain books. We needed up getting very interested in reading cover and exploring Coffman that we stayed there for 2 hours. It was a very long time but so much fun. After that I went home and went to class from 3-5 pm. Then I took a quick nap and headed to class from 6:15-7:45. After that I really just did homework for the rest of the evening until about 1 in the morning. My screen time for the day was 2 hours and 13 minutes. 
For the eating portion of the day I started the morning off with a zucchini muffin. My roommates grandma made them for us and they were delicious. I also had some coffee on the way over to Coffman. Af Coffman I also had a Chai Tea Latte from Einstein Bros. I personally think they make the best ones in the city and I’m not really sure why. During my afternoon class I made some spaghetti and ate so much of it I was surprised by how hungry I was. Being awake longer really does make me more hungry. For dinner I had some more of the spaghetti I made in the afternoon. Then as a snack later at night I made some more popcorn. Typical of me, I’m aware.
Today was a good day I would say. It’s always nice to have some time away from classes to spend with my friends. I did some yoga today as well so it was a good 30 minutes of stretching. Plus the walk so I left like I got out of the house and actually accomplished some things today. The top three apps of the say were of course Spotify, to help through all the hours of walking and homework. Then the other two were Snapchat and Tiktik, which is also not unusual as well. My sleep quality for the night on a scale of 1-10 was a 7 probably. I was out like a light at first but my cat is still in heat. She was up almost all night meowing and it was awful. I am so tired this evening though, only 2 more days. It’s closing time.

Day 27
Wednesday, February 17th 
Wednesday is always the busiest day of the week. It always starts off with a class at 8:30-10:30 which I rarely wake up for. I of course went right back to bed after that 1 this afternoon. I got up and got ready for the day and then got right into my homework. To keep up these days you gotta stay up and late and get up early to fit it all in. I worked until class from 4-5 and then took a quick nap. I have class from 5:45 until 7pm in the evening. Then there will be be homework. At 8:30 tonight I have a meeting about a project that will hopefully only go for an hour. After that my only wish is to be done with my homework by 11 tonight so I can relax a little. I also don’t have class until 3 tomorrow afternoon so that would be a nice break in my classes and homework times. My screen time for the day was 3 hours and 12 minutes.
For the eating part of the day it was actually fairly nutritious. This morning my roommate Jade surprised me with a bowl of strawberries and raspberries because she had extra. It was delicious and those are my favorite types of fruit. For lunch I had some carrots that were leftover from last week. In the afternoon I got hungry and had a plates of nachos and cheese. I had not had that in a long time and it was so good. For dinner I am going to eat some more of the leftover rice I made last week. I also had coffee and some tea today to keep myself hydrated. Then in the evening I had some hot chocolate during my night classes cause I was feeling chilly. 
Today was a pretty okay day again. An average day of having classes and homework again. Nothing excited happened today, was just feeling a bit tired. I did yoga in the day because I was feeling sore and like I needed some physical activity time. My top three apps of the day were of course Spotify, Snapchat, and Tiktok. I more recently got into listening to music while I work but I think overall it has helped me to become more productive. My overall sleep quality fro the day on a scale of 1-10 is probably a 7. I slept so much today I just week up a lot at night. My cat has been very annoying this week is all. Only 3 more days of this!!!!

Day 26
Tuesday. February 16th 
Today was the great day of Tuesday. It is the day where at least I only have one class at 6:15-7:45 pm. I woke up at 9 in the morning and got ready for the day right off the bat. I was so proud of myself it was crazy I should get up earlier every day. I went over to a friends house and spent the day just hanging out kind of. I relaxed and napped and then I did some homework and just had a semi-normal day which was nice. I went to a walk to Coffman and helped my friends learn where the computer lab was there and printed out some things together. After that we walked back to the Dinkytown Target and picked out some things to make for dinner. We made some rice tacos and then I went to class. After class I went home and took a quick nap before doing homework time again for the rest of the evening. My screen time for the day was 3 hours and 47 minutes.
My eating for the day was actually pretty good. Before I left the house this morning I ate some oatmeal and put milk and syrup in it to give it some flavor. Then in the afternoon I got a bit hungry and had a pear snack and some chocolate teddy grams. It made a nice snack but because I was awake for so long today I had a much bigger appetite today. Like I said I made some tacos and rice for dinner in the evening. Was a nice switch up from the regular noodles. Was also nice to go on a walk today was a bit warmer out then it has been in the past few weeks. 
Overall the day was pretty good. I enjoy the days where I have less classes and can kind of just do homework at my own pace as the day goes on. I feel on track and happy with where all of my classes are right now. My top three apps of the day were of course Spotify, to help me work through the day. And the other ones were Snapchat and Tiktok which is also on par with the regular. My sleep schedule on a scale of 1-10 was a 6. I stayed up late doing homework again and that’s on me for not being very productive during the day but that’s how it is sometimes.  Plus getting up early is so not my thing. Well anyways hopefully tomorrow is just as peaceful.

Day 25
Monday, February 15th 
Well It is Monday again. And for once I was glad that the weekend was over. I even woke up on time for this this morning which was an accomplishment for the day enough. I woke up at 8 for my class at 8:30 and class only went until 9:30 this morning. I then went back to bed like I always do until 11 this morning. I pried myself out of bed and got ready for the day. I was feeling kind of empty today so I stared at the wall for a long while before I decided to make something to eat. I really then just procrastinated until 2:30 in the afternoon.I then started my homework and worked on it for the rest of the afternoon until 5:45 and then I have class until 7 after that. I will continue to do homework for the rest of the night so I am caught up for the week. Monday is my longest homework day. My screen time for the day is 2 hours and 47 minutes. 
As always I started the day off with making some noodles. I even got lazier and cooked them in the microwave. That’s almost embarrassing to admit. I am saving my noodle boxes for the next part of this project so that I can make something out of all of them. For dinner I will be eating the leftover noodles and some rice I made last week thats been sitting int eh fridge. I have not been very hungry these last few days and I am not really sure why. Hopefully it will pass because I love to eat and this is just depressing. Oh and of course I had some coffee right away in the morning.
Today was fine. Just an average day of doing a lot of schoolwork and basically nothing else. It is technically my job so I am doing my best to be decent at it. It is also getting close to the last time that I have to do this. I might even miss doing these a little bit, it is very easy to tell hoe my mood was when I wrote them some of them are so passive aggressive. My top three apps of the day were of course Spotify, for all the hard work I did today. And then Snapchat and TikTok to help me procrastinate a bit. My sleep quality on a scale of 1-10 was like an 7. I was out like a light but I feel a bit drowsy yet today. Until tomorrow.

Day 24
Sunday, February 14th 
Valentine’s Day is upon us. I was almost excited about it, but this is a very disappointing generation so my hopes were quickly crushed. I stayed up very late last night so I did not wake up until 2 this afternoon. I really just cleaned up the house and didn’t do much for the day. After that I went and hung out at a friends house for the evening. I came home at like 10 and did homework for the rest of the evening. It was a sad holiday but thats okay. I did not enjoy myself in the slightest and I am convinced that love is not real currently. That is good but at least I was productive and got a lot of my homework done. Then I watched a movie with my roommate Rylie called “Love Actually” so that we could feel better about ourselves. Then I cuddles with my cat Molly until I fell asleep. My screen time for the day was 2 hours and 6 minutes. 
Today for the eating part of the day I started off the afternoon with a banana smoothie. It was made of yogurt and bananas and just ice and it was kind of awful. Then I also had some biscuits from Red Lobster that my roommate made to celebrate for the holiday. Then I also ate three pieces of ham for lunch as a snack. For dinner I had a leftover chicken quesadilla which was quite good I must say. Finally, as a snack I had a some kettle corn while we watched the movie later.
Today was good until it wasn’t. I think my expectation were too high and I was let down so there’s late. I might just blame the universe and call it good and then move on with my life. My top three apps of the day are Spotify, Snapchat and Messenger. I listened to music all day to try and keep my mind of of things but it didn’t really work. It was wonderful and helped to ease me. I think this entire day it really a made up holiday so I am actually looking forward to Monday today. My sleep quality last night on a scale of 1-10 was a 4. It was awful and I hated it. Thats all for today. Happy Valentines Day.

Day 23
Saturday, February 13th 
Saturday is by far the best day of the week. It is full of plans with friends and maybe a little bit of homework but that sounds more like a Sunday problem to me. Today the only homework I will be doing is this post so that I do not fall behind on this work. There is a lot going on in this class right now and it is hard to keep it all straight. Anyhow, I got up this morning at 9:30 which is quite early for me on a Saturday morning. I continued to lay in bed until 11 reading. After that I had a meeting for a group presentation for about 30 minutes. After getting that sorted out I got ready for the day. I am getting lunch today with some friends before I go to a dinner tonight. Then I am going to this dinner with friends and after that I am headed to a date party for Valentine’s day at one of the frats. I will then come home and go to sleep right away because I have to work early tomorrow in the morning. My screen time for the day is 3 hours and 22 minutes. 
Today for the eating portion of the project I started out the day with some coffee of course. I had early plans for lunch so I skipped breakfast to save room for lunch. When lunch time came around I ordered some tacos from a place in Como and ate them. For the dinner I am going to we are making spaghetti sauce and such things by scratch and having spaghetti and meatballs. I am very excited about this and I hope it is fun. Since this blog knows I am not very good at cooking I hope I do not embarrass myself doing this. 
Today was a wonderful day. It was good to connect with friends and to meet some new people at the events I went to. It was so cold outside today I didn’t really want to go anywhere but it is the day before Valentin’s Day and I felt like I should get out and celebrate it a little even though I’m not very big into the holiday. My top three apps of the day were Messenger, Snapchat, and the Books app. I sometimes read on my phone but the Books app has never made it onto my favorites tab before. My sleep quality on a scale of 1-10 was an 8. I passed out right away last night but was still feel drowsy this morning. I may need to sneak in a nap later. Now off to celebrate a made up holiday. <3

Day 22
Friday, February 22nd 
Ahahhaha TGIF it has been another long week. Today I didn’t have to work so I got to sleep in late on this wonderful Friday. I woke up this morning at 11 this morning after a lovely night of sleeping. I literally didn’t leave my bed for another 2 hours after playing on my phone. I then got up at 1 this afternoon and got ready for the day. I then watched a movie I’ve been dying to see and it literally came out yesterday and it was 2 hours long. Then I continued on with a show called “Firefly Lane” thats a drama about two best friends. It is quite a wholesome some and I watched it for 2 hours. While I did all of this TV watching I also did my homework for this class and a project for another class. My screen time for the day was high today. On my phone alone it was 4 hours and 32 minutes.
Today for for eating part of the day I woke up so late that I really missed breakfast. For the afternoon my roommate let me eat her leftover Alfredo because she was gonna be gone for the weekend. Then in the afternoon I had some kettle corn to go with my sappy romcom. Dinner for the evening was of course the good old noodles. Except today I had some pesto with it which is just fantastic. It reminded me of my mother and then I thought about how long it has been since I have seen then and I realized how much I miss my family. Crazy I might have to go visit them soon. 
Overall today was a good day. I felt very settled and got a lot of homework done before the weekend which is nice. Or I will at least have Saturday off and then Sunday will be a homework day of course. This week seems like I will have more control of it which will be a good thing for me. My top three apps of the day were TikTok because that is what I spent my morning doing. Then the second two were Snapchat and Messenger. My overall sleep quality on a scale of 1-10 gets a 9. It was very peaceful and I was very pleased with it. What a calming day to get back on my feet.
