okay what do we want to talk about couple things the first thing that I want to talk about is perception something I’ve become unbelievably fascinated with recently is this binary thing of basically and we’ve heard of our whole lives half glass full half glass empty like I’ve become

unbelievably fascinated with are you sitting in this audience right now and realizing that this is the greatest era to be alive in the human race or or are you consuming content that makes you think shits terrible and fucked up and everything suck shit and it’s probably somewhere in

between but for me in the context of where I want to take my talk which is the business opportunities the life opportunities I think it’s a remarkable time to be alive this right here is the remote control of our society a lot of people don’t like that and

I respect that you don’t like that when you go out everybody’s on their phones you think your kids are getting fucked up I get it but the reality of the situation is this this device and it’s interaction on the Internet is really a remarkable thing I am blown

away that every person in this audience has so much more upside to achieve than ever before strictly because of the internet every person in this room every person at this conference right now including myself is grossly under estimating the internet because we’re living through the beginning of it

and it’s hard to calibrate it and realize how big of a deal it is but the second you start contextualizing this platform things will start getting different especially if you’re in a place where you’ve got the mindset that this is optimism and opportunity and not just where I’m

at I basically can’t wrap my head around how easy it is right now to garner attention and then deploy that attention to be the governor of Colorado sell t-shirts sell books sell your insurance practice list us home and sell it the bottom line is no matter what you

do here no matter what you do here the one thing that binds all of us is that we’re all battling for attention from somebody and then we get the opportunity to tell them what we do once you understand that attention is the currency that we’re all chasing then

we can start having a much smarter conversation about this watch this and I think a lot of people here will learn from this how many people here and I know a lot of you know I like I know a lot of you follow me enough to know I

like this if you follow me but just by show of hands and don’t get lazy on me how many people here have run Facebook ads and it didn’t work for them raise your hands actually could we do this again how many if you just raise your hand everywhere

I want you to stand up stand up don’t get lazy I’m gonna give you one more second stand up if you’ve run Facebook ads and they did not work thank you thank you all right Denver these people suck kidding kidding kidding kidding kidding thank you for standing up

sit down here’s here’s why I wanted to show you that and here’s the point I’m gonna try to make and here’s a tactical breakthrough that I would like to accomplish knowing Robert and Tony and other people are speaking I think we could talk a lot about theoretical frameworks

and motivation of mindset I believe in that shit the most I think optimism is the most practical strategy in the game and I believe in that but one of the things I wanted to fill the void of in this schedule today is to get you to leave with

one or two practical things that actually make an impact on whatever that you’re trying to achieve that number one thing that I can do for you and that practical impact is to get you to finally understand why it is super important that almost 70% of this audience stood

up and that Delta is where all the opportunity is let me explain Facebook ads on May 29 10 on May 10th 2018 is the single best advertising product known to man it is so grossly underpriced that the only thing that I’ve ever lived through that is similar is

early Google AdWords if I was speaking in 2003 in 2004 about what I was doing for my dad’s business at the time I would have asked the same question right now the only difference is I would have asked people to stand up if they’ve run Google AdWords and

it hasn’t worked for them and the same amount of people would have stood up meanwhile in that five to six year period of the early days of Google AdWords the number one advertiser on the platform is a small company called Amazon Amazon used Google’s unbelievably underpriced attention and

to give you guys context when I was running ads on day one on Google for Wine Library I was buying wine terms like the word wine and Pinot Grigio for five and ten cents a click those words went on to be worth three and four and twelve dollars

a click attention much like real estate and every other product is about supply and demand this is the attention platform social media is the places that we deploy our attention within it I believe that right now this Facebook arbitrage is the single most coherent thing that everybody in

this audience can take advantage of but here’s the problem if you don’t know how to do it you’re not gonna get the value of the underpriced attention a lot of people just stood up when I made that joke these people suck there was a little truth in that

sucky statement it’s under they actually suck it’s that their execution on that Facebook campaign side the ROI of any execution is predicated on your skill the ROI of a basketball to me is zero the ROI of a basketball for LeBron James is going to end up being billions

of dollars people make decisions that things don’t work because it didn’t work for them it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t work I promise you and I’m making this statement in a very selfish way so that I’m putting it on film so I can recall it in eight years

when I’m trying to get you to do AR or voice or AI or something else I’m gonna point to this video because in seven years all the articles are gonna say this nobody spent enough money on Facebook during its heyday between 2013 and 2020 when the biggest companies

in the world figure out how good Facebook advertising really is coca-cola and Coors Light and all the biggest brands in world I’m gonna start spending their money in the platform which is gonna kick you guys out of the feed because spending $8 to get in front of a

thousand people is gonna start costing $150 to get in front of a thousand people and more importantly we’re gonna stop converting on those ads as much as we do now because we’re gonna be used to them and it’s always cat and mouse new advertising comes out we convert

on it it gets mature we run away from it excuse me for one second bro thanks for renting the Jets shirt fucking love you the number one thing that I would like to accomplish in this talk today is to get every person here to go home and Google

how do I run Facebook Ads for a concrete manufacturer how do I sell cattle on Facebook how do I sell homes on Facebook I want you to go home and read or watch videos for anywhere between seven and fifteen hours over the next week and then spend 5

10 50 or ten million dollars I don’t know your business or your economics but if I compel you to this truth that I know is real and you decide to do it the one thing I’m scared of is you’re gonna go back home and you’re gonna get your

21 year old niece to do it because she gets that technology shit I am so tired of people saying that they didn’t grow up with this and it’s not of their generation and that they didn’t know how to use it when it literally takes five to seven hours

of putting education time in to figure it out to have the audacity to say that you’re 49 and you didn’t grow up with it or 64 and you didn’t grow up with it if you’re still in the game put in the fucking work I mean people running businesses

and don’t have six hours to read and test and try to figure out guys this is called communication it’s how everything works there’s a reason when there’s a coup d'etat in a country that the first thing they do is they go after the media company to pump propaganda

into the citizens minds comes marketing communication if you are not relevant on Facebook and Instagram and LinkedIn and Twitter and YouTube right now you are irrelevant period you don’t like it me either tough shit dick I don’t care that you missed the good old days when the kids

went outside and played they don’t do that anymore sorry there’s a ton of shit that you don’t do that your fucking grandma wish you did back in the day to holding on to ideology and using that to run your business is a losing formula being romantic of how

you want it to be in the world and then not affecting your business in the way that it actually is is a vulnerability we are living through the advancement of Technology technology is not going to start stop advancing cuz you don’t like what it’s doing and meanwhile what’s

really happening is you say you don’t like what it’s doing but you’re living it the other way there’s a bunch of hypocrisy in the system and most importantly even if you don’t use technology because you’re a fucking hippie if you’re in this audience you’re trying to figure something

out right you’re trying to win you’re putting in the work this is game over because and this is why I’m passionate about it how many people here are retiring in the next ten years and I don’t mean you’re gonna fucking crush it and buy an island I mean

you’re just really fucking old and you’re finished ten years show me okay so for the 40 of you cool you could take some of this with a grain of salt even though I think it’s relevant right now but let me make a promise to all of you of

why this really matters the reason you have to become great at Facebook advertising at Instagram influencer advertising at starting a podcast in understanding how to do white papers on LinkedIn not spamming and selling branding and marketing the reason you have to figure out this stuff the reason you

have to be comfortable with it is technology is just starting if you think it’s crazy now where do you think this is going did anybody watch Google’s presentation the other day yesterday did you guys see this presentation right I need an assistant that understands the nuances and context

of a human voice like literally Google yesterday showed you that anybody in the world who’s an admin or an assistant right now is out of a job yeah and so my question to you is if you’re not putting in the work to understand how these social networks work

how the hell are you gonna be living in the world that’s coming next in augmented reality and VR and AI and machine learning and blockchain like we’re not going backwards guys like we’re not gonna all of a sudden wake up in a couple weeks to be like you

know what fuck it let’s go back to farming and fucking go that way farming is amazing bro but you’re the only fucking farmer here cool and three others I get it but guess what awesome I’m so pumped there’s fuckin 19 farmers here but if this was fuckin 1897

we’d all be fuckin farmers get it that’s the point right and the best part is when you use technology and branding I’ve got a farming friend right now he’s like fuck it’s getting tighter I’m like bro instead of just selling your crops why don’t you start a brand

on Amazon and Shopify use Facebook and Instagram and now all of a sudden your fucking peas are the fucking coolest peas on earth it’s true guys this is very simple I’m gonna say something done I don’t want to say because I don’t want to hurt your feelings that

I have no I don’t know you but I do want to say this I need you to hear this from me around this conference it’s important to me please understand something that I’m fascinated by and I’m hoping one person hears me and it’s the time they needed to

hear it consuming my content coming to conferences like this reading more books debating about the way the world should be being a perfectionist debating complaining dwelling all of it excuses for not doing if you ask me what I really want I want this to be the last conference

you ever go to I’m being dead fucking serious I I want you to understand that it is very likely that if you’re sitting here you are trying to find ways not to do that’s not everybody might not even be most but even if one person here uses reading

eighty seven fucking mindset and motivation books and listening to 44 fucking podcasts and 13 fucking blogs and coming to nine fucking things like this a year if even one person here is doing that and by the way there’s a lot more than one person here doing that it’s

yeah you’re laughing because you know it’s fucking true cuz you know it’s fucking true right how many more fucking books do these people need to read it comes down to doing you can figure out how to market your business to accomplish all your fucking goals in life whether

it has to build a pool in your backyard or to buy the fucking Jets whatever it is in-between if you’re actually willing to put in the work you know what I do I fucking work 15 hours a day I fucking write my captions on my Instagram I reply

your fucking DMS I answer comments I read my email it’s fucking work you want the secret it’s called work it’s called work and by the way do not get confused here you have to work to match the ambition coming out of your mouth this is not about working

15 hours there you got family you got other interest you do you but don’t be a fucking hypocrite don’t be full of shit don’t tell me you’re buying a fucking private jet when you’re watching four hours of YouTube videos a day cuz it’s work you have to figure

out what you’re trying to achieve and what you want and then you need to put in the work that maps to that ambition and I know somebody’s sitting here and be like yeah Gary you talk about hard work but I work smart I work smart too and hard

now what dick this is not a debate the most controllable thing listen we’re all we’re all built differently right we’ve all got different skills different charisma levels different Beauty different smarts we’ve all got different shit but the most controllable thing in this room the most controllable thing is

putting in the work we especially the people in this conference including myself look we are so fortunate we are so entitled there is so much abundance in the system when I see other people try to drag people down and razz on them for their success it makes me

laugh because they don’t realize how much abundance is in the system there’s nobody not your most direct competitor I don’t give a shit if you have a flower shop on this side of the street and literally on the other side of the street there’s a flower shop nobody’s

taking any money out of your pocket you’re taking money out of your pocket it’s true so this is a mindset game for me right are you on offense and realize all this rant that I just did for four minutes and if you do cool , let’s move on

getting pissed I was like I was like this guy’s a dick like um anyway when I was listening to that bio when he was saying and he built his dad’s business from a four to sixty million dollar business I was sitting back there and I’m like loser and

here’s why I said it I figured out Google AdWords the day it came out I understood that search engines were gonna be big because the internet was crazy and yahood already become big it was real I understood that we would all use search engines for a long time

showing up first for very few pennies was a good idea I started running them day one it worked you typed in wine wine library showed up first you clicked it you weren’t used to it yet they didn’t even blew it out back then you weren’t even sure you

were hitting ads it was fucking gangster shit every sixth person bought something I was paying thirty cents for new fucking customers and it’s sitting in my fucking face and my business is going from three to seven to 15 to 29 in my fucking face and what did I

do I was still doing direct mail I was still doing TV I was still doing billboards which was fine because it wasn’t as overpriced as it is today but I fucking hit oil and I wasn’t pumping hard enough when he said for 260 my brain goes should have

been 250 if all the profits I was making that I was spending on other things I put back into Google it would have been 250 my friends it’s not too late for Facebook advertising and Instagram influencers it’s not is it as good as it was 36 months ago

it is not is it a hell of a lot better than it’s gonna be in 36 months it is and it is that scale there’s nothing you do it I love that somebody’s sitting here and saying yeah but it doesn’t work for my industry bullshit it is for

your industry the whole country is on it oh but Gary young kids are gone it fine I understand but when I run ads for 18 to 24 year olds on Facebook we sell the living shit out of it are they on it as much no are they amortized

out to Instagram yes this Facebook own Instagram yes should you do influencer marketing on its rim because people don’t know how to price themselves if you find people at a hundred thousand followers and you ask them to post a picture of your thing or tell him about your

thing on DM a lot of times they over price a lot of times they under price you’re gonna kiss some frogs but there’s a fuckload of princes right now I’m telling you guys I’m telling you right now take the audacity the lack of our education the laziness out

of your system and become a practitioner in Facebook advertising and Instagram influencer marketing and it will disproportionately help your business don’t know what to say and do figure it out that’s your job you want the fruits and the benefits of winning you got to put in the work

you got to lose some money you got to win some money you got to read some shit you got to try some shit but here’s the thing you’ll have to spend a lot to learn you can run a hundred dollars worth of ads and look at what it

teaches you but know this the world is broken up into two places when it comes to this sellers and marketers most people are sellers so they’re gonna spend a thousand dollars and they’re gonna expect some sort of transaction to come from it in the short term and they’re

gonna deem it in not a success the key is to understand how to build a brand on these platforms so that the business comes to you or there’s a halo effect a waterfall from the marketing my personal belief over the last two decades is to bring the most

value I always tell people don’t listen to what I’m saying watch what I do I pump out ungodly amounts of content for free every day I engage with my community every day I’m not doing this for my health or kicks and giggles I’m doing it because I want

to win a fucking Super Bowl do you understand I believe that the people that give the most value do you know how weird it was when I started Wine Library TV in 2006 I did a youtube show for the users that don’t know I really kind of broke

out in the mid-2000s because a YouTube I started the YouTube show and I would sit in front of a camera drink four bottles of wine for 20 minutes and hundreds of thousands of people watched it it was great anyway I would sell these wines in my wine store

and I would sit there and I would pan that I would drink it and say it was light and off balanced and a piece of shit and you shouldn’t drink it wines that I was selling from vendors who were my partners the reason I did that was the

people in here that realized the actual game which is in a world of the internet where there’s an abundance of free information the people that bring the most value to the audience win the people who can give away the best information for free wins for you to give

away your secrets for free you’re gonna learn two things number one there is abundance but you’re gonna learn something else when you give away your best advice for free 99% of people aren’t gonna do anything about it I’m gonna sit here and I’m sitting here for 30 40

minutes pounding for people to go home and do five hours of homework and ten days of testing to fundamentally unlock real growth in our business and ninety-eight percent of you faces aren’t gonna do it that’s life and there’s nothing I can do about it but it doesn’t make

it any less true it’s coming this golden goose like Google was for five years Google now is good Google’s fine Google AdWords is solid if you’re good at it and you put a lot of work into it you can find your pockets it’s nice it’s appropriately priced one

to go into Facebook mark my fucking words you have about 24 to 48 months to buy up real estate of attention for whatever you do sell hats you’re a lawyer you sell insurance I don’t care what you do it is grossly underpriced because your first half-ass effort of

a thousand dollars or ten thousand dollars didn’t work doesn’t mean it’s not under priced it means that you had their attention but your picture or video sucked shit and nobody watched it or did anything about it cool go figure out how not to suck shit because in 36

and 40 months when all this money comes in it will become properly priced just like Google did and then there may not be anything else for us people us normal folk who don’t have eight billion dollars in money to be able to compete for America’s attention got it

this may fucking tenth where the Internet’s the middleman where the internet is smoking out all the bad people in our society and finally expose thank God this May 10th right now the Internet is the middleman and it doesn’t care that your parents were drug addicts and it doesn’t

care that you got D’s and F’s and it doesn’t care what your grandpappy did 40 years ago it’s agnostic it doesn’t give a fuck it rewards you if you put in the right work and do it the right way and it shits on you if you don’t do

you understand if you do that means you understand what I understand which is this is one of the first times in the history of the human race where merit is being fully rewarded and if you really really understand what I just said it would make you get your

ass up right now run home and start working how how you could be letting this pass you by during this moment baffles me once you become educated it’s one thing if you didn’t see it it’s one thing if you couldn’t put the pieces together listen Manhattan was for

dollars if you can grab it whatever you’re up to you want to be the mayor of your town you want to sell eight more homes you want to build a big pizza delivery business whatever you’re up to well disproportionately scale when you buy underpriced attention and you get

people to know what you’re up to and what you do and what value bring this is special this is a magical era and you will regret it if you don’t deploy all of your efforts against it and so while you debate that it’s not for your industry well

you sit around and what think about what other people are gonna think about you if you make that content or if the Lighting’s good or you don’t like your left side of your fucking face or whatever the fuck you think while you do all that debating people are

grabbing up this opportunity I highly recommend my friends for you to become a practitioner not a headline reader of the current state of the internet it’s called social networks on the cell phone it’s also called podcasts on podcast networks its vlogging on YouTube it’s writing long-form articles on

LinkedIn and maybe your industry is boring by your standards but it’s still your industry and if you could be the queen or king of your industry that you win and the way to do that in 2018 is to be a person that knows how to make pictures videos

audio clips and written words on seven platforms it’s simple if my friends I am NOT a big time genius I’m simple I care about one thing your attention your ears and your eyes are my religion I watch where you go I watch you saying you’re not gonna go

there you know me people here said they would never be on Instagram and now are anybody people here when they got the first emoji said what the fuck is this shit who now send poop emojis 24 hours a day some of the older cats in here said they

would never get a cell phone because their fuckin pager was good enough the cats out of the bag we’re not going back and you need to understand that social norms are changing online dating twelve years ago weird and creepy today the establishment could you imagine if I stood

How To Delete LG TV Program Channels Using Hotel Mode Menu

Hello there boys and girls, my name is Dominic.

Today I’m going to show you a very simple method of deleting your TV channels on your LG TV You may have your reasons but the reason I have is that my TV usually scans both pay TV as well as free-to-air TV.

So when I need to go to a free-to-air TV channel, I usually just skip somany pay TV channels just to get that free-to-air TV that I can watch.

The satellite TV channels over here like a thousand channels.

I usually go through a very big list just to get to the channels that I usually watch.

So let me just go to antenna real quick.

For this method to work you’re going to need 2 things, a flash drive or a USB stick and your remote control.

So don’t worry your flash drive doesn’t need to be empty, 10 MB free space is enough.

Insert your USB Drive at the back of your TV.

I’ve already inserted mine and you don’t need to open the contents.

Now this is the normalnotification bar on LG digital TVs.

I just want to remain this small rectangular portion on the top left.

Press and hold the menu button until the notification bar at the top left appears.

Then press 1105 and OK or the center button on your remote.

This action will bring you to a hidden menu known as Hotel mode.

This is the menu but we are going to go down to USB cloning.

From the USB cloning sub menu, we are going to select send to USB.

That is the name of the file just select OK to start So we are now saving all the channelinformation from our TV to the flash drive Right now the TV is writing thisinformation into our flash drive or USB stick.

Give it a second to finish up.

And it’s done.

Just exit, press the EXIT key toexit and remove the flash drive.

This my desktop and I got this programit’s called Chansort from a website known as sourceforge.

net I will copy this link and paste it in the video description below so you don’t need to worry.

After you download it and unzip it you will get such a folder to yourchoice of location Find and open the Chansort.

exe file.

This will open a program that will help help us in editing the program info from LG TV.

From the file we just saved from our TV.

So give it a minute it’s opening up and here we go.

I’ll just minimize that.

So let me just maximize this.

On the right side over here where the cursor is is the original channels viewer and on the left side over here is where you are going to sort out our channels.

Remember I told you my TV is a satellite as well as digital terrestrial TV so the list might quite be big.

Go to file and open TV data file.

Just scroll to your USB Drive where you saved the information Let me insert my USB drive real quick.

And here you have it open and this is the file we want.

Just select it and open it.

You have a choice of three actionsover here; 1.

Copy channel list.

Order the channels the same way as in a reference list 2.

Modify current list.

Start with the current list and modify it as needed 3.

Create new list.

Start with an empty list and add channels in desired order.

Choose the third option.

These are all the channels from thedigital terrestrial side.

And you can see all the channels are SDTV, there’s nothing like HDTV in Kenya at the moment.

Some of these channels are blank and I don’t need these kind of channelswe’ll delete all of them.

So to select your channels.

You just double click it and it will go to the left side.

All these from here up to number 83 are pay TV channels you can’t view them on my TV becausethey are scrambled.

But I know this channel, this is a free-to-air channel.

Just double click it and it goes to the left side.

Go on selecting your TV channels.

At the top here you can see I’m editing the DTV digital terrestrial TV channels.

We have the radio channels over here.

We have the satellite TV channels.

Actually they are 641 and not 1000 like I said before and satellite radio.

I will select all radio channels by double clicking Go back to DTV.

So it’s going to be a process.

Give me a minute as I edit my full list.

For the satellite TV I’ve justselected 3 channels at the moment because of time.

After you are done selecting your channels just come here to save and save your list.

Select the second option.

Delete unsortedchannels from the list.

And it’s saving.

You can see the original channels list has changed.

Those are the digital terrestrial radiochannels as well as digital terrestrial TV channels that I’ve selected.

I have not selected any satellite radio, so the list is blank.

So let’s go back to the TV and copy all the data from the USB Drive back to the TV.

We are back at the TV and now we are going to do the opposite.

Earlier we updated our channel list to the USB then we edited it.

Now we are going to upload* all the information from the flash drive into our TV.

Press and hold the menu button till the notification bar at the top left appears then press 1105 & OK.

Go to USB cloning like before but this time we are going to receive from USB not send to USB.

Receive from USB.

Select the file we had and the contents will be uploaded.

Give it some time until the update is complete So after the update is complete, the TV is going to shut itself down after it writes all the information in itsinternal memory.

So the TV is OFF and when we put it ON again we are going tosee our updated channel list.

As you can see right now they are no scrambled TVchannels.

Everything over here is free-to-air Let me try satellite.

Remember I only had 3 channels in satellite mode.

And there you have it.

The only 3 channels that I saved.

video and then you’ll see clips if my shirt changes colors when my hair gets longer these are the demonstrations and the products as I’ve done over time so I’m gonna have these edited into this video so you can actually see from start to finish more importantly if you

want to score that deal that I have found which is a very limited time offering expand that video description box right under me there you will score the best price for what I consider to be the best HDTV antenna of 2018 let’s start with the unboxing and then

we’ll get to the channels all right let’s get this antenna out of the box now keep in mind this is a larger antenna I’m going to show you how I flipped this up and the channels that I can get there are some of those flat panel those ones

that you can actually just hang up from mount some of them have adhesives on the back and those are good the mo who leaf is actually a fantastic antenna which I’ve used but this just gives you better range in my opinion you got 60 to 70 miles plus

you have a lot of accessories that allow you to set this up where you can at least diminish the interference with a really good filter alright this is the antenna itself if you guys want an idea of how tall this is I’m just over five nine and this

goes up to my knees there we go I know if that helps you but it’s not the most discreet thing but the nice thing is you can use this indoor or out if you have a porch or something comes with the mounting bracket which is great comes with

a long-range coax cable comes with the stand comes with the filter this is the key this filters out a lot of the interference and this will ensure you get that beautiful crisp HD reception over the air so 4k right this is 4k capable awesome if you have a

TV that is so equipped and then in here because this is not a passive antenna meaning that it is working with a power source you have a little plug adapter right here and the the plug adapter is very very very small let me show you how we set

this up and then more importantly what types of channels I was able to receive just screw this right into the back of the cable in or where your antenna goes on the back of a television any television will have this port the other end goes into the under

part of the antenna so one in there one in here you’re good to go there’s nothing else you need to do this again is an outdoor indoor HD TV antenna it’s smart pass and amplified it also has a 4G LTE filter which means it cuts down on the

distortion to give you that beautiful crystal-clear picture which I’m going to show you in a moment and while this antenna has the 60 to 70 mile range if you do want to use the included amplifier this just gives you a little bit more of a boost I don’t

need this even in a basement in Toronto right now I’m really happy with the channels that I have access to I’m going to show you now how to get the free channels added to your TV from the antenna we’ve already searched through the channels but I want to

show you right now that on this Smart TV I already have Netflix Amazon Prime access to YouTube TV or Google I should say but if you aren’t a sling TV subscriber you’re not enjoying that live TV or DirecTV now you just really want to see what an antenna

can give you this is what you need to do to set it up on any regular television you’ll just go into your menu settings and do a search you can auto tune your channels or manual scan auto tune is the easiest the TV runs through all available channels

and then programs them into your television guide so all you have to do is change channels just as you would traditionally with satellite or cable and you’ll know in a matter of seconds what you have access to so this is a very powerful antenna you can see that

it’s already starting to pick out channels and most of our tests were able to get 12 to 15 channels in some cases you’ll only get four channels in some cases you’ll get 20 or 30 it depends on where you are and how far away you are from the

broadcast source okay it’s moving faster than I thought we’re at nine channels and 100% so nine channels from a basement it’s gonna scan through all of the other sources now this is the part that I’m gonna skip because this will take a while I should also mention that

that I am using live television sometimes when people show you these antennas they do all these fake roundabouts where the antenna is not actually the source just want to show you right now this is live TV tied to the antenna alright so as you can see I’m gonna

lower the smart menu right here for a second this is absolutely beautiful crystal-clear 4k on my television right now this is high-definition so let’s keep going here just again scrolling through the channels as you would traditionally watching cable just using the remote the TV is already familiar with

what it’s picked up beautiful you just flick through channels as you would watching something else you can see that the picture quality is tremendous I am a huge fan of this antenna and more importantly the content that I’m now able to get for free this is a great

way to enjoy free television on a dime and as we flick through everything you need is there the channels are all programmed into the television and maybe you’ll be able to get many more chew that does not look good maybe you’ll get more channels than I’ve had access

to I didn’t mean to laugh okay I just learned no one was injured in that truck incident so they are everything safe wonderful now the specific model of this an top antenna is best used beside a window or outside as well you can discreetly run the cable to

your television source no problems but for me one of the things that I’ve noticed is when I do these videos I’ll hear from a lot of people that say oh well you know you got 12 channels and I got four I got two it didn’t work and it’s

so dependent upon where you are geographically so there is a resource located under this video screen where you can at least get a better idea of how many channels you are likely to receive I should also mention that if this isn’t right for you and you are not

Connect Twitch and YouTube Gaming Chat Together With Restream.io Chat

In this video I’m going to show you howto connect multiple different streaming chat rooms in to one easy to use program.

This will include Twitch, YouTube Gaming, Hitbox, BeamPro and more.

We’re also going to add this chat into OBSStudio for our viewers to see.

Let’s get right into it.

Arguably the most important part of beinga streamer is interacting with your viewers in some form.

In my latest video I showed how to streamto multiple platforms at the same time – so let’s take time and see how to combine allof our chat rooms into one place, so that we can easily interact with viewers acrossmultiple platforms.

To strart we can head to Restream.

io/chat- the link will be in the description.

We can see a brief preview of how our chatwill look – where it shows the icon for the platform our viewers are chatting on, theirnickname, a timestamp, and the message.

By the way, all of this can be customizedas well.

Let’s go ahead and download and installthis program just like any other.

Before we actually launch this app – I’mgoing to go back to Restream.

io and login to my account.

Once I’m in, I’m going to make sure thechannels I want to connect in chat are added inside of my Restream dashboard.

If you need more help on how to do this, makesure to watch my last video about setting up your account.

Anyways, let’s go ahead and launch the program, and login to our Restream account.

You might not see much, but let me walk youthrough its interface.

First, in the top left we’ll see an iconthat shows how many services we’re connected to, as well as how many people are in allthe rooms.

If we click this area on the top left, itwill show and hide our services – as well as give us a better break down of what allis connected.

You can also clear history in the bottom left.

You’ll notice that some services show “read-only”- this is because the program is not able to send chat messages to these services.

However, the other ones that show Online canhave messages from our Account sent to the chat rooms.

I’ll hide this section and show you moreabout how we can send messages.

First, I’ll just type a message to myselfin my own Twitch and Hitbox chat , to show you that things are connected.

Again, you’ll see the icons that representwhere the message is from.

Already, I think this program is pretty awesome, but there’s much more.

At the bottom, there’s a dropdown and anarea to “Write to chat…”.

This is where we can enter commands to variousplatforms.

If you click the drop down you’ll also beshown different channels that you can specify your message to go to.

This will also filter your chat messages foreach service, in case you want to check out what’s happening on just Twitch, just YouTube, etc.

Leaving it on the all chats option will attemptto broadcast your message to any services that are not marked as read only.

So far, I hope you’ll see how easy it isto communicate with your various users – but it might be confusing to some if you’restreaming in one place and talking to another.

So, let’s go into the settings and I’llshow you in just a second how to add this window into OBS Studio the right way.

First, we can check out the general settings- we can see some options here, but I want to make sure that Force chat autoscroll isenabled.

Next, we have Chat Accounts – this allowsus to double check which accounts are connected – as I mentioned it will sync with our settingsin our Restream dashboard, but if you’re having issues with a chat room, you can alwaystry to reconnect here.

Chat filters allow you to specify any wordsyou’d liked not shown in either the app window or the web UI.

Put the words you want to filter, separatedby a comma, and enable both of these options.

One small quirk about the programs, is thatit is space sensitive.

Meaning after the comma, don’t use a space- or else it might not filter out the words you put.

In the window section we can disable “Alwayson top” if we’d like, as well as Enable Window Background Transparency.

You can play around with the sliders for alook that you prefer.

For fonts, you can only specify sizes andvisibility of each item – so hopefully they add a bit more to this in the near future.

I’d love to add my own custom fonts andcolors here.

Next is notifications, basically we can seta sound that’s played when we have a new message, or a sound that plays when our nicknameis mentioned.

I think it could be a bit annoying for allmessages to have a sound – but I could definitely see some use for the second option here…especially in busier chats.

With all those set up, we’re finally atthe sections that allow us to add this chat system into OBS Studio.

There’s 2 different ways to do this andthey’re very easy! Let’s start with the easiest way – SaveChat To Image.

After you enable the option, we can selectwhere this image saves to.

You can see that this will be in my picturesfolder with the name RestreamChat.

png – this seems fine to me, so I’ll hit save and openup OBS Studio.

In OBS I’ll simply add in an image sourceand browse to where that image is saved.

I’ll select it, and that’s pretty muchit.

If you don’t see anything yet, it’s becausea new image only generates when a chat message is shown, so you might not have an image generatedsince you just installed this app.

Go ahead and type something into one of yourchat rooms and you should see the image appear! Feel free to use OBS Studio filters and croppingto further customize as needed.

I also recommend typing out a lot of linesslowly to see how everything looks and reacts.

Remember, you can change the font size andwindow appearance in the settings as well.

The second way we can add this into OBS Studiois through the Web Server.

If this is enabled you can go to the addresslocalhost – colon – and then the port number you have entered, in this case 8080.

You can change the port number if you needto, but hopefully this doesn’t cause you any issues.

So, if I go to localhost:8080 in my browser, I should see some chat history, since I had this enabled from the start.

If yours wasn’t enabled, you will need totype a few messages for something to show.

Let’s go ahead and copy this url and goto OBS Studio.

I’m going to add a browser source, specifya width and height, and hit Okay to add it in.

I’ll now see my chat logs inside of OBSstudio as a browser source.

If you know CSS, you can even override theCSS in the source properties to further customize the appearance.

This is my preferred method, since I knowCSS – but I still think the Image Source is pretty great.

Okay, let’s go through the last optionsof these settings before we finish up this video – which is to save chat to a file.

Basically, this option allows you to saveyour chat history to text files.

You can simply enable it, select the fileswhere to save, and if you want a general log and daily logs.

Basically, this will save different chat filesfor you that contains everything people say in your different chat rooms.

The Restream account tab only allows us tologout and the About tab shows us the version we’re using.

With that, you should know everything you’dneed to, to properly communicate to your viewers across many different streaming platforms.

I’m a huge fan of this program, and Restreamin general, and I can’t wait to see how it improves in the future.

As I mentioned, according to Restream’sTwitter, there will be a new way to add chat into OBS soon, so keep an eye out for a videothat walks you through the new process.

Stream to 30 Platforms Simultaneously with Restream.io

What’s up guys, welcome back once againto the Gaming Careers YouTube channel where we aim to teach you everything todo with live-streaming and to do with content creation within the gaming niche.

Are you finding it hard to stand out on Twitch amongst the tens of thousandsof other streamers trying to stand out there? Maybe you think ‘is there a betterplatform to be streaming to as a beginner streamer or as a streamertrying to get noticed?’ You may know that there’s plenty of other platforms thatnow want to promote your live stream but which one to stream to.

Well in today'svideo we’re going to be looking at a service called restream which allowsyou to stream to Twitch, Mixer, Facebook, YouTube Gaming, smashcast and over 30other platforms, all at the same time, all without any additional bandwidth orperformance hits on your PC and all completely for free.

Sounds good? Let'sdive in! So before we hop onto the computer and take a look at restream, Ithink it’s important to discuss what I think the benefits are of using aservice like restream and the first and most obvious one is that it multipliesthe platforms that you are on so not only have you got a chance of justgetting discovered on Twitch but if you’re streaming to other platforms aswell there are people that are using those sites and they may discover youthere.

So you obviously are multiplying your audience because you’re on moreplatforms so you’re more easy to discover.

Now maybe one or two years ago, Twitch was really the only platform where you could stream with the hopes ofmaking it your career but recently a lot of other companies have been gettinginvolved, obviously you’ve got Google who owns YouTube, you’ve got Microsoft whoowns Mixer, you’ve got Facebook, you’ve got Twitter, they’re all getting into thelivestream scene and they all want to help promote your stream.

So it’s worthconsidering platforms other than Twitch nowadays.

Now add on to that that Twitchis probably the hardest platform to get started on just because there’s so manystreamers battling to try and get viewers, whereas services like YouTubeGaming have less people streaming to it, so there’s more chance for you gettingdiscovered.

Also YouTube just announced that YouTube Gaming and YouTube, theirsubscriptions are going to be combined so people that subscribe to you onYouTube Gaming, your videos are going to appear in theirYouTube feed and vice-versa, so this is good news for people that arestreaming to platforms like YouTube Gaming and that is really why I thinkthat restream is such a great service, because you don’t need to know whichplatform is best for you because you can stream to all of them at the same timeand then over time you can start to understand where your audience lives andwhich platform is best for you to stream to.

Now you might be thinking thatrestream, that sounds great but how on earth am I meant to monitor chat fromFacebook, YouTube, Twitch, beem, all of these different platforms that Iwant to stream to all at the same time and thankfully restream has thought of asolution for that as well.

They’ve built an app that pulls all ofthese streams that you’re streaming to, all the chat into one window so we'llcover that later in the video but let’s dive into the restream software.

So thefirst thing that you’re going to want to do is to head over to restream.

io andsign up for an account, all that you need to do is input a username, email anda password.

I’ve already created mine so I’m justgoing to log in instead but once you have created an account you maybe haveto click a link in an email just to confirm that that is your email but youshould log in and arrive at the dashboard.

Now the dashboard shows allthe different platforms and the channels that you’ve connected to restream, sincethis is a brand new account we haven’t yet connected any platforms so if weclick on add channel we will open up the options for all the different platformsthat we can stream to with restream.

As you can see here there is a lot ofchoice.

For the purposes of this video I’m going to connect my Twitch, myYouTube and my Mixer accounts.

Each time that you select a platform to connectyou will need to log in to that platform and authorize restream to be able toaccess some of your information.

The process here has been designed to besuper simple which I absolutely love, it makes it so easy for you to add as manyplatforms as you desire.

It’s worth noting here that if you want to streamto two different accounts from the same streaming platform, so to separate Twitchaccounts for example then you will need to purchase the doubling package fromrestream.

If you just want to stream to one account from each platform you canstream to all 30 different platforms completely for free.

Each time you add aplatform successfully you should see it show up in your dashboard.

There’s anoption to turn each channel on and off so if you want to not stream to one ofyour accounts one day you can quite easily turn it off here before youstart streaming.

You can also click this little cog icon and go into the Editsettings which allows you to choose which Twitch server to stream to andedit your display name.

I’d recommend leaving the server on autodetect as this is no longer the server that is best for your connection betweenyour computer and Twitch, but this is the server that is best for the connectionbetween restream’s server and Twitch’s server.

Underneath each channel name youalso have a little status which shows if you are offline, connecting or online toeach platform.

Once you’ve successfully added all the platforms that you want tostream to we can start setting up OBS studio or streamlabs OBS for streamingto restream.

Remember how this works is that we send our stream data from OBS orstreamlabs OBS to a restream server.

Restream then takes this data and sendsit on to our individual streaming platforms.

Over on the right hand side ofyour dashboard we first need to set up which restream server we will besending our stream to.

There’s a little drop-down which gives you all thedifferent server locations that restream has.

You should choose the option herewhich is nearest to you geographically.

There’s also an option here to run aquick speed test which basically just pings all the servers from your locationand gives you the result in milliseconds.

Now I know that’s not the greatest ormost thorough connection test but still it’s better than nothing you want tochoose the server with the lowest ping.

Next we are given our stream key.

Nowexactly like Twitch or YouTube or any of the other services, you should keep thiskey completely private as it’s the only thing that’s required somebody else tostream to all of your accounts.

If for some reason you share it with somebodylike I’m doing in this video, you can of course reset it by clicking this littlerefresh icon here.

Select the whole stream key and copy it then we’ll headinto our streaming software.

I’m going to show you both OBS and streamlabs OBSquickly since they’re exactly the same.

So we start by going to settings, thenthe stream tab and under service we will select restream.

io, for the serverwe’re going to choose the same server that we just selected in the dashboardand then finally we are going to paste in our stream key.

In SLOBS it’s theexact same process, go to Settings, stream, select restream.

io, choose the serverand paste the stream key.

One final thing that we need to do if you’re using OBSor streamlabs OBS is to fix a little issue which currently existsthat one of the restream engineers has told me about for best results.

So goback into your settings and select the output tab, if your current output modeis set to simple we need to make a quick note of these two settings here, ourbitrate and our encoder.

Now we can change the output mode to advanced as weneed to disable an option in here.

First let’s set our encoder and our bitrateback to what we just noted down from the simple tab, next we want to uncheck thisbox 'enforce streaming service encoder settings’, we’ll then set our keyframeinterval to 2 and change our profile to main.

I know this sounds complex and Ihaven’t really explained what these settings do, but it’s just really anissue with how OBS and streamlabs OBS are enforcing the restream encodersettings wrongly.

Just to reiterate I’ll do it in streamlabs OBS as well.

Go tosettings, to the output tab, change to advanced and check this box, set this to2 and set this to main, and then make sure that our encoder and our bitrateare the same as what they were when we were on the simple output mode.

Now technically we have done everything that we need to do to go live onmultiple platforms using restream but there are a couple of other features Iwant to talk about before we do.

Back on the restream website the titles tab, thisjust allows you to change the title and the game of all your connected streamchannels.

So here I can enter a single title that I want to show as my streamtitle across all my connected platforms and then of course I can go into eachaccount and edit the game that I’m playing if I want to.

The social alertstab this just allows you to post a tweet and a status to your Twitter and yourFacebook pages whenever you go live which is pretty handy.

The monitor tab isa really useful tool that allows you to monitor your streams as they arehappening in real time, and I know if you go to your monitor tab right now sincewe’re not streaming, it won’t show anything but I’m gonna show you somedata from when I streamed earlier.

Here you can look at your live incomingstream data so you can see exactly what bitrate, what resolution, what frame rateyou’re sending to restream as well as things like dropped frames.

The graphs beloware super useful in diagnosing any issues that you’re having with yourstreams similarly to how I showed you guys in the Twitch inspector video.

I couldgo into absolutely loads of detail here about how you can analyze these graphsand fix stream issues but I’ll probably save that for another more advancedvideo, so if you guys want to see that do just let me know down in the comments.

Aswell as looking at your incoming stream data the data that you are sending fromOBS or streamlabs OBS to restream, you can also click across and look at theoutgoing streams that restream is sending out to the individual platformslive in real time.

Again here we can see useful data like bitrate as well asthings like if restream has ever had to reconnect to the service.

The final tabthat we will look at is the chat tab.

Now as I said earlier this is restream'ssolution for gathering all of your chat windows from all the different platformsthat you’re going to be streaming to into one.

This way you can make sure thatyou don’t miss any viewers who are chatting to you and you can interactwith them back no matter which streaming platform they are watching on.

Restreamhave also made it incredibly easy to include this multichat window into yourstream with OBS or streamlabs OBS if you want your viewers to be able to seethe chat that’s coming from all your different streaming platforms.

Youcan include it quite easily.

There are two different options for the chatapplication, there’s a web chat version that runs in your browser or there’s anapplication that you can download for PC or for Mac.

Firstly we’ll look at the web chat version.

You can see here it shows you apreview of what your chat will look like along with some example messages frommultiple platforms.

Each message will show an icon of the platform, thechatting users username on that platform, as well as their message and the time ofthe message.

On the right here you can change the theme between a few differentoptions, so have a play around see which one you like the look of.

Next you canchange if you want new messages to show at the bottom or at the top of the chatwindow.

You also have a couple of options here to alter the opacity of both themessage background and the chat background as a whole and you can changeexactly how large the text and the chat window is by adjusting the scale here.

Finally you can choose to hide messages after a number of seconds, so this isuseful if you are a newer streamer or maybe you’re just a streamer that istrying your hardest to grow and you don’t have that much chat interactiongoing on, you don’t want people with messages to stay up on your stream formultiple seconds so you can you can set a timer here for how long they shouldshow for before they’re hidden.

At the very top you’ll also have a long linkthat you can use in OBS or streamlabs OBS as a browser source to have yourchat as a source that you can display on your stream, but we’ll be covering thatonce we’ve downloaded the Windows application.

Now although the web chat isawesome the downloadable application has quite a few more features many of whichwe won’t have time to go into in this video but I’d still recommend it ifyou’re going to be streaming with restream often.

You should download andinstall the standalone chat application.

Once it has installed it should allowyou to log into your restream account so log in and it should look a little likethis.

Now up in the top left corner it should show the number of platforms thatyour chat is currently connected to as well as the number of users in all ofthe combined channels.

If you click anywhere in the top left here it willshow you all of your chats, their current connection status and how many users arewatching on that channel.

Now before we dive into the settings of this chat applet’s just have a look at the chat in action.

So I’m going to open up mybrowser and open up my Twitch, YouTube and my Mixer chats and then typesome example messages to see them appear in therestream chat window.

As you can see all the chats from the platforms I'veconnected are collected into this one window and it’s super easy to interactwith your chat from all the different platforms.

If you click on the little cogicon up here, the settings window will open up.

Now I’m not going to go throughall the settings here but you can see that there are some cool features, thingslike connecting your discord, filtering out certain words from your chat as wellas filtering out words based on the platform, you can change the actualwindow appearance and font sizes of the messages, the nickname and the timestamp.

You can set up notifications and text-to-speech, there’s an auto replying bot, there’s ways to export your chat and your viewercounters, loads of cool features but all of those are probably going to call fora more advanced video at a later date.

But the one that I do want to quicklycover is embedding your restream chat into your stream, now this is exactly thesame as the web chat but all you have to do once you’ve got the chat appearing asyou want to, you know play around with the appearance with these settings hereon the right.

Once you’re happy is you go up to the box here, copy this URL and gointo OBS or streamlabs OBS and add a new browser source to the scene you wantto show you’re chat on, then paste in the URL, set the width and height to whateveryou want and click OK.

You now have your multistream chat appearing in thestream for your viewers.

It’s really as easy as that, you can go back andchange the appearance, the opacity all those kind of things and they willupdate in your streaming software.

Now if we quickly go back to our browser andtest by typing in these chat windows, you should see them appearing in your streamnow.

That is everything that we need to set up to be able to use restream, we'reready to hit start streaming in our streaming software and then head back tothe restream dashboard.

Now restream does add about a 1-2 second delay to yourstream which is pretty impressive really considering what they are doing with allof that data.

So after a few seconds we should see that our stream previewshould show and then we should also see that our individual platforms go fromoffline to connecting, eventually to online and that’s it.

We are now live onmultiple platforms at the same time.

So I just want to quickly give a little wordof warning to those that are lucky enough and worked hard enough to be ableto have signed an affiliate contract with Twitch or apartner contract with Twitch because if you look through your contract theremight be a clause in there about exclusivity.

And it basically, it sayssomething like that you agree to stream to Twitch and thatcontent won’t appear anywhere else for something like 24 hours.

So have a lookthrough your contract because if that is the case then unfortunately you probablycan’t use a service like restream since technically that content is going liveto multiple different platforms at the same time and not just Twitch, which iswhat is stated in your contract.

So just a little word of warning if you’re luckyenough to have one of those contracts be sure to make sure you’re not breaking it.
