I know God Gale is considered a "bad" ending by most, but there's just something so funny about a dude who looks at an apocalyptic event caused by the hubris of man, thinks to himself "rip to that guy but I'm different," and then turns out to be totally right. He is built different, actually.

Turns out there was nothing wrong with what Karsus was doing, he was just bad at doing it. Blow up yourself and your entire empire because you tried to become a God? Skill issue. Why don't you try successfully becoming a God instead? What, like it's hard?

I am never prepared for how sweet and insightful Astarion can be when you let him be the strong one. He is good at being strong and showing valor in situations when Durge is afraid or vulnerable. In this scene, when Durge chooses to open up to Astarion about their fears, he answers graciously, using himself as an example to forge a connection, and to build trust. He is unafraid of facing and admitting his own weaknesses and vulnerabilities as a way of showing Durge that it's okay, that one can overcome who they thought they had to be in their darkest hours. That is something the dark urge romance is showing me, specifically

i knew that shadowheart's hair changed before i started playing bg3 and i assumed it would be like an emotionally charged magical moment where she defects from shar and is blasted with magical energy or something and it is still endlessly funny to me that she just. had an existential crisis so she cut her bangs and dyed her hair. what an icon

adhd is an emotional storm and NO ONE TALKS ABOUT IT !!! like... executive dysfunction and forgetfulness and time blindness and all are a huge part of it and i see those being talked about all the time but no one fucking talks about the depression, the risk seeking, the hyperactive thinking, the things understimulation can lead to, like?? ADHD IS HELL. AND ALL ANYONE FUCKING TALKS ABOUT IS HYPERFIXATIONS.
