Jade just pulls her head back as Jake attempts to get more play out of her, heaving for air. She stands up and lopes away, immediately locating her dusty clothes. She grips them in her mouth, and comes back, dropping them. The lycan turns away and shifts, her tail and ears the only thing remaining of her wolf form. She quickly pulls on her clothing, turning back and sitting down in front of the other wolf.
“Hi!” she says, smiling, “I’m 99% sure you’re 50% human too, so my name is Jade!” Her slender legs fold under her as she gets more comfortable, her bright green eyes reflecting the brightness of the forest.
Her dark brown hair is caught up in her ears and her clothes are dirty and have holes in them, but she looks positively joyous. Windblown.
Shifting Shenanigans
Making her daily trip to the Dry Forest, Miss Jade Harley quickly changed to her human-like hominid form, slipping on a dirty grey t-shirt and a pair of worn jeans that were much too big for her. She gathered her long hair and tied it into a loose ponytail, her white ears sticking out of the top. The lycan had cut a hole in the jeans for her tail to stick out of, and the fluffy white thing now lay against the back of her legs.
Jade quivered with excitement, and began a steady pace through the cover of the tree, making a game of avoiding the crunchy leaves that fell underfoot, and almost yelping when one landed on her head and got stuck between her ears. She the perked up, having heard something crashing about.
The wolf-girl looked over to see a big, brownish black dog. No, more like a wolf. It was only a few seconds before she recognized the intelligence in the creatures eyes and she squealed, “Another werewolf!”
She dashed forward, and threw her arms around it, quickly shifting and sliding out of the clothes, letting them just settle on the ground. She growled playfully, bouncing on her paws and jumping around the other lycan.

She growls deeply, tugging back on the now shredded material; it could hardly be called cloth at this point. Jade moves her jaws quickly to get a better grip, but in the split second she opens her mouth, the toy is tugged away! She barks in protest, hard on Jake’s paws as he dashes away.
She leaps, barreling into his side and knocking the two of them over, two piles of fur only distinguished by the bright white and dark brown of their pelts. They tumble to a stop, Jade standing and pants, wagging her tail.
Jake still has the cloth, but she doesn’t care. That was fun! She shakes herself off, scattering leaves and dirt, and lays down with a huff. She would shift, but she didn’t have her clothes to change into and didn’t want to make her new friend uncomfortable.
It was ridiculously hot in her pelt though, so she lay there, panting.

Jade easily loped through the woods, the warm ground feeling nice on her paws. She shook herself, ridding herself of dirt and leaves, and a puff of white fur left her coat. Ah, shedding. It would happen until the coldest of winter nights, and even then, the small furs could still be found where ever she walked.
She perked her ears as she heard a groan in the distance, as well as the cracking of branches. The lycan quickly dived behind a rock, shifting and quickly pulling out her clothes, slipping them on.
Jade came out, slowly pacing towards the sounds, and stopped with a jolt. “Oh...” she sighed, looking at the creature before her. “You’re beautiful! Hi!” she exclaims, her hand covering her mouth.
Molting in the Summer Heat
/Itchy. Fucking itchy./ was Dirk’s only thoughts as he lazed in a tree. His serpentine body pale and fevered as his skin she’d and regrew.
He twisted in and around himself, as if he was trying to tie himself in a knot. Noises of discomfort rising from the back of his throat as the sun rose, sweat suffocating him between the skins.
/I hate itching. I hate the poppy being gone./ he gnashed his teeth at nothing coiling tighter. Begging for this to be over as the tree creaked under his grip and squirming.

She lopes around and lets out a protesting yelp at the bump to her shoulder, but isn’t really offended. Jade sniffs around the the other wolf’s face, and then growls and jumps up, lightly biting his ear. She yanks on it before losing her grip and tumbling back.
She bounces back up, hopping on her paws before dashing off. When she looked back and saw he wasn’t chasing her, she groaned lowly. Dashing back up the slope, she growled and jumped back. Come on! She had been playing this game since she was a pup! She wiggled her tail playfully and ran off, hoping her was chasing her this time. He was!
She grinned, making wide circles before grabbing a torn shred of some long lost clothing and shaking it, teasing the other lycan.
Oh, she was having so much fun! Jade perked her ears up, glad to finally have company!

She looks guilty, and backs up a bit. “Oh, sorry! This is yours?” she asks, sniffing around. No, he didn’t mark any borders. Not that she could smell. Probably because demons didn’t piss on tree stumps like she did, but how would she know.
Jade tried to calm down a bit. She was VERY out of her comfort zone, and she was obviously bothering this poor demon. “Did, uh, you need me to go? I’m sorry, I really didn’t know, I promise,” she says apologetically, laying her ears back and letting her tail stick in between her legs.
“Oh gods, I came here, and freaked you out, and now I’m just padding around your territory I am so sorry,” she says, whipping around and skittering the fuck outta there. She just reached the patchy snow when she turned around, noticing the demon had followed her.
Loot and Lycans
Okay, let’s just pretend previous altercations never happened. Time to actually go scavenging. No, not for food, just for items of use. For example, he has a phone which he found in the forest a while back. All it takes is a little electricity and it can be charged. Only problem is that sometimes people call it or text it. That’s a story for another day though.
All he really needed for his abode at the moment was something to rest himself on. He has a chair, but it’s old and rickety and makes you paranoid if you sit on it. So something like that might be nice. Or some kind of blanket rather than the crappy horsehair one he has which barely covers him. Bugger’s falling apart as well. Hah. It’s almost like everything Sollux owned reflected his life at the moment.
But onwards he must venture. It is time. And so, off he goes, knocking apart piles of leaves just in case there happened to be something buried in them. Never was, but it’s always worth a shot. Had to be. Eventually. Reminds him a little of a game he used to play as a kid, where even if you checked in every single bin there was there was still never anything inside of it. Bittersweet memories, huh?
Further and further he goes, kicking mounds of leaves, brushing aside clumps of fallen birds’ nests with his foot, until he hears footsteps (and not his own either, smartasses). Immediately, he freezes in place and cautiously looks around until he catches sight of something ducking behind a tree.

Noticing his awkward glances around, she laughs and snorts and is generally ungraceful in her acknowledgment of how uncomfortable he was. She eventually calmed herself, and spoke clearly in her friendly tone, “Oh don’t worry, I’m a lone wolf! Scary, right?”
Jade then continues to have a giggle fit, and then perks up. “Could I get a name?” she asks, and flicks her ear as a falling leaf lands on it. “Fall. Annoying, isn’t it?”
She continues to try and start up some conversation, and shuffles her bare feet as she continues to fail. Almost unwillingly, she lays her ears back, feeling like the awkward one now.

She then gathers herself and gets back steadily on her paws, shaking dirt and dust out of her white pelt. Jade’s stocky wolf form smoothly changed into a slender girl, her long black hair cascading down her back. She was completely naked, save for the bag tightly tied around her waist. She smiles, and then unclasps the small bag, pulling out a sweater and skirt, no underclothes.
After quickly slipping them on, she grins widely, holding out a hand. “Hi! I’m Jade!” the lycan greets warmly, her fluffy white tail swaying slowly behind her, ears perked. “Sorry, I just hate human hearing, it’s absolutely useless.”
She then steps back, leaning against the tree, her tangled hair bunching up around her shoulders as she giggles, stealing a quick glance around to make sure they were alone. Lots of people scared her, and she was determined not to go skittering back to her den today.

As the wet and soggy snow fell around Jade Harley’s den, she poked her head out, the swirling black locks of her long hair catching in it and making her sigh. She popped back in and quickly took her clothes off, sticking them in a bag she tied around her waist. With that, she smoothly went from human to wolf, and wriggled out of the snow caked entrance to her den. She loped through the snow in the tundra, briefly stopping to lap up some wet snow for water and shake her bag free of freshly fallen snow.
The cold slowly began to recede as she neared the forest, trees appearing and snow melting beneath her feet, patches of grass sticking up through the mushy white brown color. She stepped onto snow-free ground, and shook herself clean, padded under the cover of the trees. Almost immediately the scent of someone else hit her senses, and she perked her ears.
Jade spotted the tanned creature almost immediately, and unsure of what to do, dived behind a tree, her tail poking out as she leaned up against the rough bark, her white grayish fur fluffed up.
She peeked around and made a small yelped noise, jumping back and landing on her butt. She stared at the other creature for a few seconds before bursting out in a yipping sound that may have been laughter.
