final images print - what I would have done

for my final images I would have went to deadly digital for printing them, this is because I like the quality of their prints and I feel the style would fit my images. slight glossy finish would work best as I feel having a matt finish on the images will have some of the impact lost. they would alos be printed to an A3 size as this is the size i framed them up to being, along with A3 being a nice size for the images.

The idea for this layout is to try and show a sequence of events on what has happened due to the pandemic but also show how some people have responded to it, such as going on like life is normal or having split opinions on it

to make this image i used a bighting and a cooling filter to make the sky stand out, I kept the panes mostly in a dark tone because it makes them stand out agenst the sky

the image was brightened a bit and the contrast was put up a bit. another brightening filter and a cooling filter was applied to the eyes to not make them be so dark

the image has a warm and cold filter applied to it, this is so the sky has more definition and that the path stands out a bit more

(the idea for this image is to try and show the one of the main items that people where scrambling to get lots of when the quarantining started)

the only thing I had done with this image is some dodging and burning in some areas, this was so the tower would stand out a bit more as well as giving it some depth

(the idea for this image is to either have someone falling in a void or inside a glass ball)

when editing I went with the idea of someone falling in a void as the reflections and highlights in the glass ball where too difficult to work with, the lines behind the person is the same image just liqulafied and softly brushed in to create a halo effect

{idea for this image is to have someone standing holding a smile while a faint blurred person is in the background}

the original idea didn’t work as planed so I changed it to a progression of the smile mask breaking, while the other image portrait became it’s own separate image

the 1st image I gave it a bit of a colder tint to make the shadows more oppressing, while in the other image i made the colours a bit more contrasted to make the blurring more stronger

when making this image i wanted to bring more attention to the bench so I added a warming filter to make the red on the tape more bolder, so it would catch the eye of the viewer
