For Grimmjow, this wasn't sinister, not by a long shot. No, when he was being this loud, this open about his intentions, as creepy as they were, it was as honest as he could be. When he was quiet, he was sinister, but when he was like this, it was just meant to be intimidating. Which, from his Master's reaction, she didn't really find him to be, a fact that would probably irritate him.
But not now. Not when it seemed he'd finally managed to talk some sense into the woman. Closing his eyes, he let his pesquisacomb the area - although it would only sense those with some ability, it'd at least mean the people could seehim. "It's not going to take too long, if you're only hunting worms."
That was the look he'd been hoping to see in someone else's eyes for so long, that hunger, that desire to kill. Laughing, his hand would wrap around her arm, usingsonidoto move them closer to a small group of people, staring down at them. "After all, the hunt's over before it's even begun. But now, here's the good part."
Grinning, he began to slowly point at each of them in turn, as if he was picking out who to strike first. "Any requests, or should I just destroy them all?"

Oh, now the woman was insulting him? Really, that was funny. She actually thought he was going to bother lookingfor her, that he would waste his time walking through the tower any further. She was going to have to move soon, though. Otherwise, she'd definitely be regretting mocking him.
Tumblr media
Using sonido, he'd follow in the wake of the cero he'd aimed at the voice he'd been hearing, grinning. He wasn't even going to need to draw his sword, was he, if all she had been doing was hiding away and talking. No, just his 'free' abilities, unless she deserved more.
"You really want to piss me off, don't you? Making my waste my time looking for you. Would've thought you'd at least look intimidating, with such arrogant words." Walking towards her, he grinned, gaze darting about the room. "Scared, woman? You can't hide, and I'm not going to let you run."
;Honest Mistake [Open//01]
Thought so much of herself? Why, of course; Ultimecia was really the only being that mattered in the whole universe. Everyone else pales in comparison to the time witch, for there is no one greater than her… At least, that’s what Ultimecia thinks.
Tumblr media
But now she begins to chuckle, because this man is obviously an idiot, and an entertaining one at that. Normally Ultimecia just chucks out the trash before it’s even graced with her presence, but she’ll let this man talk for now. All the idiocy he’s spouting is making her day better. ” I am, for all the low-some insekts like yourself seem to flock to me to catch a glimpse of true beauty and power, “ she laughs. “ Though, you seem a bit more dull than the others. Is it really that hard for you to find a stationary person? “ oh, she’s mocking you now. You should feel fortunate!

This city was so very boring. So many people fighting, and none of them were even worth his time, all either injured, or too pathetic to bother with, and the ones that weren't fighting weredisgusting.
Even Hueco Mundo had more excitement, just. If it wasn't for that chance at the Grail, Grimmjow would have simply left this place. As it was, he saw no reason to do much, other thantryto find something to do. Somewhere to go, where he wasn't surrounded by beings he could crush with no effort.
Somehow, he'd ended up in a clock tower, able to sense the presence of only one other inside. A normal person wouldn't be here, which meant it had to be an opponent, the realisation causing Grimmjow to smile as he stalked through the tower. If he could sense the other being, it would have to be someone of interest to him, surely.
Tumblr media
The throne was a nice touch, really. She obviously thought much of herself, to do such a thing, but to set up in an area like this with so little security? He'd been hoping for some entertainment on the way, but the Sexta had simply walked through the silly tower to get to her
"Watch your tongue, woman. Or does hiding away make you think you're strong?" He hadn't found her just yet, but that hardly mattered - he could tell where her voice was coming from, and that was enough. "Well? You gonna come face me, or shall we do this the hard way?"
;Honest Mistake [Open//01]
For the entire city itself, Ultimecia had a low opinion of it. There was little to do— or rather— there was little that interested the classy sorceress. Her master was powerful, sure, but she still thought of him as an imp, and as such, decided that spending time apart from him was time well spent.
But, there was no where for the witch to really have some alone time to herself. The city was full of insects, wandering around, either making friends or fighting… Neither of which piqued her interest, either. In order to make the realm she desired, she would need patience and wait until the time would come where she could take the grail and make her wish…
So, until then, she has made her “home” (or at least, where she spends most of her time) in the large clock tower. Hardly anyone came to the tower and if they did, it would be difficult to find the woman in its depths…
Tumblr media
At least, that was what she had presumed until she heard footsteps nearing her location. Ultimecia continued to sit on a brilliant throne that had been made by her magic, not really bothering to even look in the direction of the noise. ” Don’t tell me you’re lost, “ she finally speaks to the stranger that had made the mistake of coming into this place. “ What kould you possibly want here? Or are you just wandering around like a fool? “

Yeah, she definitely was reminding him of the Cuatro. Shaking his head, he waited for her to finish talking, staring at her over his shoulder. He'd noticed the shiver that had run through her, the fact that she was leaning against him, that she almost seemed... afraid of him? No, that wasn't right, was it? For the first time this evening, perhaps, he'd remain silent on that topic. After all, what she'd said, and what she'd done, had given him much to think on.
The explosion really was a nice touch to end her sentiment on. No, Grimmmjow thought he could understand her, now, comparing her to his former comerade - she didn't wish to be the ruler, but she wanted to be in power, and her belief was the only way to achieve that was to serve, to be loyal.
What bullshit. He was sure that Aizen had known that his act of loyalty was nothing more than that, and what had the man done? Promoted him, given him power, not punished him for pretty much any of his infractions. If you were a slave to the King, how would you ever be noticed? At least this meant that he could figure out how to get his current Master to give him what he wanted. Not that, from the vehemence of her words, she would have had a problem with it.
"Why the fuck would I talk about him? I don't care about your human wars, but whatever..." Well, that probably wasn't an intelligent way to start, was it? Thinking things through was such a hassle. "You want the same thing I do. To destroy them, to make them understand just how weak they are, why they shouldn't have dared to do whatever the hell pissed you off, right?"
Tumblr media
It was probably better for her that she wasn't looking at him, his grin almost impossibly large as he continued to speak. "Grind them into the dirt, and make them realize just how strong you are, before destroying them? Teach them a lesson, that you're better than they could ever hope to be, and that trying to defy that truth is an intolerable insult? You want to kill them all, don't you?" A faint note of excitement was coloring his voice. Normally, it would make someone seem approachable, but on Grimmjow... it was terrifying.
"Good..."  If he was going to serve, it was for one purpose, and one purpose only; to kill and crush anyone who stood against them. What she wished for didn't matter, not when there were so many pathetic Servants for him to beat, and it wasn't as if he really needed the wish. It was only a matter of time until he found Kurosaki again, and this Grail War was just the perfect distraction from his hunt. "You're not bad at all, for a human."

At least she had the ability to appreciate destruction, grinning as she laughed, although his internal amusement was cut short as, once again, he felt pain. Far  stronger this time, enough to force a growl out of him at first. Slowly, his head would bow, glad that there was nobody around to see them at the moment - At least Aizen had managed to subdue him in a way he could comprehend. This pain... "Damn you.", he would hiss, glaring as she continued to speak.
Tch, now she was reminding him of Ulquiorra, with her talk of her lord, of returning to him. He would never understand such unwavering loyalty - it was always better to be the King, wasn't it? Even if you couldn't be, it was better to try to act like one, when they weren't around. This unfailing loyalty, this servitude, it disgusted him. Apparently, though, it was what this woman dared to expect from him.
Finally the pain was lifted, as she stated her 'terms', a quick Sonido putting him behind her. "You really don't get it, do ya?" He shook his head, acting disappointed, although he wasn't really -rather, he was stalling, thinking. No way he was going to be controlled, nor a broken servant. No, he would serve her on his terms, and his terms alone.
"I don't have a heart, woman. I guess you'd call me a demon, right? Devouring humans, destroying anything and everything... yeah, a demon's what your kind would say. How badly do you want to win this war, woman?"
Tumblr media
"Because what I really want is to smash everything and everyone that dares to get in my way, all those who're stupid enough to think they're better than me. To grind everyone in this stupid fucking war into the dirt, unless they're too weak to fight me. You've been talking about me serving you the whole time, yet you haven't probven you deserve it. How far are you willing to go, for youlord?"
Even if his tone was taunting, he was as sincere as he could be. How willing was she, to let him destroy? Because as far as Grimmjow was concerned, he was the strongest servant in this war, and he'd crush all of the others, or die trying. But if his Master was too afraid of fighting... no. With this woman, he doubted that, but he needed to know for sure.

His smirk only widened, as she pulled him towards her, the whip not even marking his skin. Acting as if he was paying her little attention, he noticed the strange world she had used. Muggle. The hell was that? At leas she was making sense with the rest of what she said, watching her with amusement as she pointed the pathetic twig at him.
Eyes widened in shock as he felt pain of a sort that he hadn't expected from such a weak looking woman. How had she done it? It wasn't physical, that was certain, so it mus be some form of Kido, some demon art or another. But it wasn't causing him harm, only pain, an insane laugh passing his lips as a red light began to gather in the palm of his hand.
After all, Pain wasn't enough to stop him, the aspect of Destruction. No, he could deal with this, and keep going. Hurting him in such a manner wasn't going to prove she was stronger, that she deserved his respect.
"I don't know what the fuck you think I am, woman, but I'm not a Muggle, or whatever the hell it was you said. You really think you can punish me, that you have the right?" Outstretching his arm, he turned the hand, a bestial glint in his eyes. "Oops."
Tumblr media
The Cero would be shot beside her, not close enough to hurt her, but hopefully close enough that she'd realizejust how close he'd been to making her disappear, the destructive beam iluminating the night sky. A shame for anyone trying to stargaze in its path, really; a clear path of destruction would lead right back to where they were standing, their surroundings simply not strong enough to resist his cero.
"Think about this more carefully, woman. You're only going to get three things out of me, unless you give me a really good reason to kill foryou. What're you trying to get out of this stupid war? What's the reason for you wanting me to grind everyone into dust?" He wasn't as stupid as he acted. Grimmjow had already figured out that she had to have a reason for summoning him, and that it was likely she was just as willing to kill. The question was what for?

The strange call had been something of a relief, for the Sexta. Hueco Mundo was boring, now, without many of his former associated there, and he wasn't dumb enough to try pick a fight with too many of the Vandenreich. Picking them off one at a time was no fun at all.
So, when he'd felt a pull, heard a strange call, what could he do other than respond? It wasn't anything like a Garganta, that was certain - rather than walking through a breach, he simply found himself appearing, staring out at the summoner with a bored expression.
She didn't look strong. Sure, she knew magic, but that didn't mean anything if she'd be crushed instantly. Who the hell did she think she was, summoning him? Sure, the promise of power, laying waste to these humans sounded like it could be fun - particularly if some of the servants would dare to oppose him - but her threat of consequences was boring. She was no Aizen, otherwise he'd be able to feel it. What strengths did she have, if she wasn't even trying to exert her spiritual pressure against him?
Still, maybe he was wrong. After all, if she was able to summon him, to create such a show, maybe she'd prove to be entertaining at least.
Tumblr media
"Who the hell do you think you are, woman, talking in such a manner? Do you really think you're able to threaten me?" Hand resting in his pockets, he took a step towards her. There was no way she'd be able to miss the hole in his torso, nor the remnants of his mask, was there? "Woman, do you think you can keep up with me? With what I'm capable of? Why the hell would I, the Sexta Espada, follow you in the very thing I enjoy the most?"
No respect for her yet, but that was always his way. Even if she was his master - Mistress? - she'd have to prove her strength, and her right, if she wanted her servant to pay attention. Three Command Seals would run out all too quickly, if she couldn't do that. Smirking, he leant towards her, uncaring if he was intruding on her personal space. "Show me."
This World Is Going to Burn (Summoning Grimmjow)
This wasn’t her world; nothing was familiar in this world except for the wand in her hand. It was her old wand, the one given to her when she first enrolled at Hogwarts and it greeted its master happily when they were reunited. To think it had been used by that filthy mudblood Granger; she had managed to disarm it from her during the battle at Hogwarts…
The battle! What had happened? Was she dead and this was hell? The last thing she remembered was that blood traitor Molly Weasley confronting her and… She looked around at her surroundings, sneering. It wasn’t only unfamiliar, it was all very Muggle. It was on the open rooftop overlooking this city that she found herself on.
That wasn’t the only thing that was unfamiliar around her as she realized she was grasping a small book in her other hand. Covers made of black leather and contents of old parchment. A spell book, by the looks of it, yet it was strangely empty except for one entry: a summoning spell…
Her wand hummed in agreement as she thought of casting the spell in her mind and she couldn’t help but smirk. If this was hell, then, at least it would be interesting even with the very Muggle surroundings. The text on the spell spoke of a war and of masters summoning servants to be the ultimate victor; the prize being a wish… any wish. Well, that only sweetened the deal, didn’t it?
Whipping her magic about until a runic circle surrounded her, cut into the cement, she started to chant as her own dark and wild magic rolled like waves inside of her:
Heed my summons great warrior of the dark and follow me in destruction
Rise from the fiery depths of hell if you must to greet your mistress
Lay waste to this land with me and gain power and pride
Defy me and your blood will boil, your bones break and your breath stop
A dark green light like that of the killing curse shone high up, breaking through the dark clouds… a beacon of her power and a warning to those who would get in their way.

Grimmjow knew that look in the woman's eyes far too well, and it infuriated him. She thought she was strong, that she could actually fight him - that she was better than him, didn't she? There was no way that was true, but the simple fact that she'd dare to think something like that made him decide that she needed to be taught a lesson.
There was nobody who could even hope to be his equal in power, other than Aizen, and she'd have to learn that the hard way. The sheer arrogance of her words, the derisive tone of voice - she was looking down on him. A damn foolish thing to do, in his opinion.
Tumblr media
"Got a problem with it, girl? Maybe I should teach you a lesson, about disrespecting your King"
The hand not holding his blade turned, palm facing the young Puella Magi, a red light gathering as he began to laugh. It didn't matter whether the blast hit the girl or not; simple destruction was its own reward. If she was really dumb enough to underestimate the blast, that was too bad, but he hoped she'd dodge it. Playing with people before grinding them into the dirt was just so much more fun for the Sexta.

There was no way the man in front of him was human; he was simply too large, too imposing to be a mere human. A heroic spirit, obviously, which was just perfect. People of their physique tended to have certain qualities - would this man share his appetite for destruction? If the Shinigami he'd fought here was any indication, of course he would. Perhaps this person wouldn't be so bad.
That was until he started talking. This man dared to talk of what a king should be, in front of him? No matter which way he thought of it, the man was stupid; either he was trying to insult him, or he thought himself a king. "Oi, dumbass." A feral grin spread across the Sexta's face as he stared at his intended opponent, a hand resting on the hilt of his Zanpakuto.
As far as the Arrancar was concerned, he was the only king around here, the only one strong enough to call themselves by that title. "Soldiers aren't supposed to tell Kings what to do." Servant or Master, this man would pay, for daring to look down on him. After all, that was the only reason you'd say such a thing, about Kings - as a sign of disrespect. If there was one reason Grimmjow hated Kurosaki above all else, it was that, and now that this man was doing it too, he intended to teach him a lesson. This lesson could only be taught in a single way; by grinding the other man into the dirt, making him know his place.
"You're not going to say sorry?" Drawing his blade from its sheath, he levelled it, the point aimed towards his opponent, his grin widening. As if he'd even listen to an apology from anyone he decided to fight, without beating them first. "Too bad."
Tumblr media
"Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, the Sexta Espada. Not that you need to know it, though." He'd at least wait for him to draw a weapon, or react in some manner, before striking him - it wouldn't be fun to simply charge without any appearance of risk. As far as the Sexta was concerned, though, it would only be an appearance of risk - his power would undoubtedly dwarf the other person's. It was a pity that whatever that thing had been, it had made him feel so powerful - his arrogance was truly astounding, by now, assuming that any fight would be too easy for him, and far too boring. "You're gonna be calling me King when this is done!"
The Darkness is Rising [KV Event]
A pain, almost. A throbbing inside his head. The conqueror thought for a bit, then dismissed it. Was it a fever? But that wasn’t possible. After all, he was a Heroic Spirit. Summoned by the Grail. Things like that couldn’t happen to a hero. It was impossible. Completely and utterly impo-
But no. Heroes fell all the time, didn’t they? Those who had ridden into battle with Iskander. they had all fallen. Each and every one. Every man dies. Even those who lived within the hearts of men. What of then, when those men died? And those that came after? No man was immortal. None would live forever. Aristotle had gone, and Baegos had gone. And Hephaestion… Hephaestion… felled by illness. Poison, more like. A jealous people. A raging, mad, psychotic people that had tried to take away all that was good from Iskander.
It was why people could not be trusted to govern themselves. It was why his reign had worked so well. Because the people were his sheep. They were his to control, and to slaughter. A name in history was not enough. He had worshipped the gods for so long. Perhaps now they were blessing him. There was power, coursing through his veins. There was strength. Bleeding, aching, painful strength. There was hurt and fear and madness too. But above all, the truth. That to bring this world together, he would have to first tear it apart.
“A king must be… both loved and hated. For it is only in love that a people can live, and it is only in hatred that they can grow stronger. A king must take command. Take charge. A king must stand on the backs of others… unless he cannot trust them Then it is those people he must kick down. What is a king? Not man. Not myth. Not title nor deed. A king is an ideal that his people must aspire to… and the nightmare they must fear.”
The darkness had taken root now, and the king once clothed in scarlet red and shining gold was now swathed in red and black. Alter Iskander had awakened, and Fuyuki City would know no peaceful nights.
