Oloh Lodam,a beautiful cardassian woman, turns her father over to the state for treason, testifying against him in court and doing everything in her power to disavow herself from him, but she is in danger of being guilty by association in society despite her honorable nature and protection of such by the state, She must find a Gul to marry as soon as possible. Any Gul will do.
Glinn Rojo Dal is lonely, aging, and his dedication to the state is unwavering. He is reaching the age of thirty, with no wife and family to commit themselves to his cause, of reaching the status of Gul. His Commanding Gul has told him once he commits himself to a wife, the state may recognize his devotion. luckily theres a woman who is looking for a husband on Cardassia ii, maybe they could come to an arrangement….. but will they lose their hearts along the way
I have some Thoughts about what truly trashy cardassian literature is like.

Some notes on Cardassian geleta houses
ok because I'm a barista & am vaguely aware that Cardassians have gelat which is similar to coffee I feel obligated to share some ideas about what geleta houses are like :]
a
It's a standard for geleta house staff to be very accommodating & polite, somewhere between stuffy butler & small town diner waiters that call you "honey".
They'd refer to customers using honorifics whenever possible (mrs., mr., mx., etc etc)
b
Most geleta houses sport dim but warm lighting to suit Cardassian preferences for dark spaces.
c
I feel like cafe spaces aren't complete without some pastries & you just know Cardassian pastry chefs take that shit so seriously. Places that have their own in house bakery are held in higher esteem than places that get their sweets delivered from somewhere else. The word sweets being used liberally; I think a lot of their desserts would be really restrained in terms of sugar.
d
geleta houses accommodating changes to traditional drink recipes tend to be the more contemporary ones who take pride in ingenuity and flexibility over "how things are supposed to be." Traditional houses therefore are the opposite, and tend to be more commonplace. Finally Cardassians are likely 100x more pretentious about their gelat than humans are with their coffee. Like so insufferable.

ok so everyone in ds9 AND tng is a bit weird but the tng crew have the kind of weirdness that you share in an icebreaker where everyone gives a weird fact about themselves whereas the guys from ds9 all have the kind of weirdness that you DEFINITELY DO NOT SHARE in that icebreaker
