I use it [songwriting] as a way of justifying things that have happened to me, whether they’re good or bad.  I like to honor the good times and really process the bad times when I write.

5. The Christmas tree in the music video - Christmas on July (album release), reminds her of HOME, her birthday etc

I THINK I MAY HAVE FOUND TAYLOR’S OBVIOUS CLUE

Now that I have your attention, I think we’ve been neglecting the rainbows the whole time. I’ll explain.

In the beginning, Taylor describes the way she’s a handful and how she went psycho on the phone which is referring to how people perceived her in the Reputation era. The storm clouds represent this.

The one with the phone even flashes lighting and turns into a monster of sorts. This signifies when Taylor was at a low point in her life. She was in the rainstorm.

Then she goes through a raincloud, it completely engulfs her, and walks out into this scene.

Which if you look closely in the background, there’s a rainbow in the background! Signifying the fact that the rain has passed and things are getting better.

This is also emphasized by the pastel colors which contrast the dark clouds from before.

Then there’s this scene.

And if you look closely, the rainbow is still in the background. But now you can make out the background to be London. See the tiny Big Ben? And you can see if you look at it closer up that the rainbow ends on a certain building.

Look, I zoomed in on it. See the dome building at the end of the rainbow? That’s important for the next part. Taylor is finally accepting herself and her lover and their differences in this scene, which Taylor herself told us in her livestream. She’s getting further and further away from the rainstorm and more towards the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

In this scene, in case you can’t tell, the rainbow is literally ending at the dome building I just mentioned.

You can still see Big Ben and the London skyline in the background. (Since it’s set in London, I’m thinking it’s referring to how she’s found her pot of gold at the end of the rainbow… and it’s her life with Joe. He is British after all.)

Then in the next scene, we’re transported into the rainbow for this part.

Taylor and her lover are literally dancing inside the rainbow. They’ve moved completely on from rainstorms and found happiness and are able to dance in the rainbow happily.

In the very end, however, it’s raining again. But this time the rain is also a rainbow. See the colors?

So that must mean that even when there are rainstorms, it doesn’t matter now because Taylor is happy with herself and she has Joe by her side and she’s even able to dance in the rainstorms and turn them into rainbows.

Anyway, that’s my really long analysis. At least that’s what I think it all means. @taylorswift how did I do? But this took me a long time to work this all out so I hope you guys like it!

Taylor has always been a fairytale princess and that has been portrayed in all of her eras except reputation. her life has shown that she’s a happy and sparky person but that can turn to darkness in this cruel world. she showed her brokenness and revenge in reputation and snapped back. and she came back more glittery and sparkly and happier and fairytale like than ever before and I couldn’t have hoped for or dreamt for a better post reputation era vibe than what we currently have. I am so here for this

Well in the music video, the part where she’s dancing with Brendon on stage in front of all those people? All of those people but ONE is wearing red and pink. And that one person is in BLUE. (One of these things is not like the other)

Fast forward to the end of the music video. The whole entire aesthetic turns to BLUE. Blue army guys dancing. Blue everywhere.

Even Taylor’s hair turns BLUE!!!!

What if it has something to do with the Blue Bird Cafe????? Think about the place where you first met me. Taylor FIRST got noticed in the Blue Bird Cafe. That was her whole start. That was her HOME.

What if the album is called like Blue Bird????? Or Blue Butterfly????? Blue??????? Nashville????? Or just Home lol
