“Where the fuck is mark bruh, i’m starving”, Haechan wailed for the 3rd time despite just getting to Jeno’s fifteen minutes ago.

“He said he’s stuck in traffic about 10 minutes away, but he said we could start the movie if y’all want” you responded.

“Ok well im gonna start it, you can come eat deanda since you’re so fucking hungry Haechan”, Jisung said trying not to laugh causing Renjun to spit out his dr. pepper everywhere.

Haechan annoyingly looked at them and sat down bringing out his E.T plushie, “this hoe so ugly, i don’t even know where i got it”. he complained while tossing it to Jeno .

Yall are 10 minutes into the movie and your phone pings lighting up with a text from mark letting you know he made it. Walking in he realizes the trail of Reece’s Pieces you left for him from the door to the movie room. He just smiles and shakes his head because this happens every time you guys watch E.T. . To put it in perspective, You, Haechan, and Mark had started watching movies in his backyard since the age of 10, so you can imagine the amount of times Haechan complained about this movie and the amount of Reece’s Pieces that have been digested and trailed on the ground. The three of you knew each other like the back of your hands. But the bond you and Mark have is alot different from any other bond you have ever had with anyone, probably because Mark’s been your bestfriend since you were 5 years old. He was there for you when you lost your first tooth (definitely it being his fault because he wanted to wrestle) , when your dad cheated on your mom, when you needed to cry, sit in silence, when you needed to laugh, he was there when you had your first heartbreak and the many others that followed , he was even there when you aced your first math test in high school, you and Mark have been thru almost everything together. When Haechan introduced you two to the rest of the boys, you never expected to get this close to everyone and you definitely didn’t expect to make movie night a continuous weekly tradition with them either, but you’re grateful you guys did because you look forward to it every week, and because you get to get closer to Jaemin.

As the movies playing the scene comes up where E.T is laying on the bed dying and Elliot is crying and tearful begging him to stay. “Stay..” “Stay” Elliot repeats. Jaemin notices you crying and wipes ur tears with his thumb while he puts your head on his shoulder and ur heart skips a beat. He then notices Haechan sniffling and you both look over giggling.

Mark, trying to contain his laugh called out to him, “dude are you ok haechan”

“It’s just so sad, like they can’t exist together” he sniffled

“No I totally get you, it’s sad.” you reassured him.

“You know, maybe he’s not that ugly after all ..” haechan mumbled.
