“Did you hear about the closeted Bi kid a school?”With those few carless words thrown out by Pidge as she took a long sip fromher iced coffee, Keith’s entire world was flipped upside down. The halls werefull of rumours that day at school, small groups huddled around lockers ofwater fountains as they whispered, theories flying around leftand right. Some thought it was some silly practical joke, some were convinced it was some girls looking for attention and other genuinely thought some Bisexual kid was looking for some closure. Tensions were high, that’s for sure.

See, Keith’s what you can call… super fucking gay. He’s not your stereotypical ‘musical theatre, rainbows and excessive amounts of glitter’ gayguy – most people aren’t actually like that. But, he likes guys nonetheless, itisn’t a big deal and it doesn’t make him that different from his peers. Allthat differs from him and the rest of his friends is that he had a mega crushon Harry Potter at one stage (it was a phase, leave him alone).

He hasn’t told anyone in his group about it yet,deciding he just wasn’t ready to deal with the pressure. It’s a big choice tomake. Once the closet door is open, there’s no way to close it again, someoneis going to pry that damned thing back open. He knows his friends will accepthim, hell, Matt regularly drops by to pick up Pidge and they all love the guy,so he’s got nothing to fear. However, he’s still in the closet with the door welland truly locked.

“There’s a- there’s a what now!” Keith screamed,probably louder than he should have, most of his group visibly flinched. In themoment Keith felt like he needed to do many things, run, scream, cry ofhappiness and scream a little more.
