What to do if your account gets wrongfully terminated
So by now most of you have probably heard that my account was suddenly terminated (aka banned) on Saturday afternoon. I’m back now, and since I had to do some digging into this on my own, I figured I’d make a post for others to reference.
How to tell if you’ve been wrongfully terminated
You will find yourself suddenly locked out of your account. For me, I had just made a post when I got kicked to the login screen. My password wouldn’t work, so I tried to reset it, at which point I got this screen:
Now, if Tumblr legitimately terminated your account - meaning, you broke a rule and they banned you for it - they should send you an email telling you why. So, immediately check your email. If you don’t get anything, it was probably a glitch. These happen shockingly often, so there’s a whole process to it.
How to get your account back
First, submit a support ticket. Tumblr’s support email does NOT work, you MUST go through their site. Select ‘Terminated account’. Write a POLITE message explaining the situation. Describe what you were doing when you suddenly got kicked off, and state that to the best of your knowledge, you haven’t broken any rules, or that if you did, you would be willing to delete the offending posts. Include your url and email.
Check your email. You should immediately get an automatic message saying they’re looking into the problem. If you don’t that means that Tumblr marked your email as spam (because they banned you). If you need to, resend the ticket using a different email address at the bottom. Explain that your account email doesn’t seem to be going through and that’s why you’re using a different one.
Wait. Tumblr Support’s hours of operation are 9-5 EST, Monday through Friday. If, like me, you submitted your ticket on a weekend, you may be in for a wait. If you don’t get a response within 24 hours, DO NOT SEND ANOTHER TICKET, but instead reply to the email they sent you. I’ve seen it advised that you should send another ticket only if the problem isn’t fixed within the week.
Check you url often. Tumblr will likely never respond to your email letting you know what happened or that you’ve been reinstated. Check your url every so often, and if it finally loads as your blog (instead of the ‘There’s nothing here’ screen) you are free to log back in.
And that’s it! If it was a glitch, they SHOULD reinstate your account, but you MUST submit a support ticket letting them know what’s going on.

Hi @Kianamaiart apologies if you have already discussed this elsewhere but I feel that you may have also watched Madoka Magica and been inspired/traumatized by that supreme anime and manga. Did you draw inspiration from this work? I can't help but feel like there are related themes with your work! I love it btw and enjoy the subversion of genre.
I actually hadn't seen Madoka prior to writing the pilot! I knew of it obviously but just never got around to it. But while I was in the middle of boarding the episode, my friend told me we should watch it together since he thought it'd be a show I'd like (+magical girls). And I loved it! I know it gets a lot of criticism for allegedly changing the magical girl genre for the worse but I thought it was phenomenal. It was well executed and I was genuinely impressed with how much story they told in such little time and also how they pace out when/what information they feed to the audience. It's beautifully done in my opinion!
There weren't any super direct influences but when designing Aika's magical girl form last year, I was looking at a ton of magical girl designs. Namely Futari wa Pretty Cure, Ojamajo Doremi, Sailor Moon, Kamichama Karin, Powerpuff Girls Z and Madoka! Watching the anime is also what gave me the idea to reach out to Christine Marie Cabanos to voice Hoshi,

How hard would Aika and Zira gush over Miss's tattoos if they knew she had them?
Aika would think they're sick and try to get one for herself not knowing she has to be an adult to get one. And Zira already knows Miss has a bunch and she keeps telling her to get a big Moon Sailor one.

Okay, I guess I'll be the one who says it. Bobby not being a joke character is so refreshing and I'm so happy KPDH actually cared about him
I can't be the only one who's noticed the trend of female-led media who give the female leads a male support who is basically just a punching bag or a jerk the girls put up with

It's so nice that Bobby isn't either of those
Bobby is out of the loop about their demon hunting, but he isn't bumbling or stupid about it. He's just unaware about that side of world. In their civilian and idol lives, he's very conscious about their well-being and makes efforts to make sure they're okay
It's also refreshing that while Bobby isn't traditionally masculine, he isn't emasculated if that makes sense. Like, yeah, he's comfortable with color coordinating with his girls and shamelessly dances along to their dances, but he's not treated like a purse puppy
Maybe it's just me, but it does feel like a lot of feminine guys usually get stuck being paraded as collectibles in groups like this. Like, "look at us. We managed to snag a girly guy." Does this make sense? I don't know if that made sense. It made sense to me so I said it
I just love that Bobby gets to be a supportive older brother character for the girls, gets their support in return, and actually feels like a beloved member of the group
