The games in today’s class were amazing. Though they had been asking for some fixes but still their mechanics and game-play was really amazing. The most wonderful part was that our game was working without errors, just working with movements but no attacks (lol). The Hud was not there, no sounds, no attacking was there. But in just one week we made progress and brought up attacks and proper movement. The audio effects were taught in class. its really simple to add audio to game via unity game engine because you just need to drag unity does the rest. Being friendly with the unity game engine its now being fun to do coding which earlier looked to be too hard and i thought it couldn’t be learnt. By practice and regular work i came to know about many features of unity, yet working on the codes though. Coding needs improvement and in future i believe it would get improved. play-testing each others game is a fun and valuable activity as the developers get many testers that bring up different problems of game and also teach each other how to overcome them.

Week 8 part 2
Game mechanics; the rules that guide the user to play and also bound the player and character to a limited area with some specific variations and values so that they can only move and play according to the set of rules prepared by the producer of the game. The games generally need to be unpredictable and somewhat surprising so that the player doesn’t get bored and follows a smooth path with some obstacles and sometimes with more obstacles that doesn’t need to be predictable. The mechanics i.e discrete and continuous. The mechanics are connected with the physical elements of game and then are added to the game-play with virtual effects and sounds for the better user experience. Then the game is tested and the commencing problems are solved also the improvements in graphics and sounds are brought up for a better user experience. The game is not ready even if everything looks good so the best way to get results from millions of users is pushing the game out in the market as its Beta version which is further improved. Moreover a game can’t be said to be fully bug free ever because by time the players find some bugs in them or sometimes it happens due to system malfunctioning.

Week 8
The word level as understood by most of the players is the part of game where a specific level of difficulty and some special challenges or the new challenges to be introduced and also they might refer them as worlds or eras depending on the type of game they are playing. Whereas, for developers the meaning of a level is the environment in which the game is played and some of the thoughts of the players are ideal in this aspect. To design a level a developer must follow some specific rules or say some set of etiquette to come up with something interesting and valuable. The developers should go with a flow in difficulty that slowly-slowly moves up and in the mean time the player learns all the valuable skills and at the end there might be some sort of big challenge yet beatable to provide more efforts. The designer first creates a level design document, checks its validation and make the required improvement before starting to work on the game and its mechanics. They (developers) usually create a map of the level including obstacles and the required bonuses in addition to power-ups and other useful materials. All this pre game coding and managing stuff provides the developers with the useful responses and solutions to the problems that they might face in future before even getting started with computer development. But, that’s no all the developers go through several other problems in further development to give a fully functioning game.

Week 10
The Audio and interface for users are the most important component of game and they need to be well prepared so that they fit in the time and the type of the game being produced and be perfectly matching with the artificial intelligence and mechanics. The Audio should be selected according to the environment of the game as the player is being surrounded by water some water sounds are good if he is surrounded by woods some sound of animals and birds make it interesting and on moving further when the player moves close to some trap or danger the audio must try to make him aware of it by promoting some sort of sound that asks the uer to play with more interest as something might be coming up. The sounds of cracking blasting and manymore make a game better and better and even some games are there in the market that are totally sound dependent. The Hud is the area where the health and other required information is diplayed. the Hud needs to be as simple to read and should cover as less space as possible. The hud improves the view area of game or say the main camera of the game and thus provide the player with better and convenient information. The Hud is also required to provide the player with some controller guides in the beginning of game so that he knows how to control the character and the hud might include mini map and directions for a better experience.

A game is a combination of AI and the Mechanics. The Mechanics are not specifically movement but the challenges and difficulties to be faced by player while he plays the game and thus spends time to Complete the challenges which are opposed by mechanics to a limit to provide proper difficulty. It goes Like a straight line graph of Difficulty and Experience. If there is a slight difference in any of those the game’s interest is lost as it becomes easy or hard for the player depending on the condition that what is increased or decreased. Moreover, the game is also dependent on the quality and variety of mechanics for example the door with a blue color might open with a blue key i.e the developer is giving a clue to the player that to open the specific door he needs a specific type of key. Such things Work to improve the player experience and improve the functionality of the game leading to more popularity and more users. The bullets in the shooting games (FPPs) are always classified in calibers like 7.62mm, 9mm, 5.56mm etc so that they can easily specify their damage and further put the gun categories to provide some sort of challenge to the player. The Milestones or checkpoints are also a good example as the player comes to know that he has done something and also that how far is he from success. Moreover the Achievements act as a prey to hungry lion and become a matter of comparison for future over players in addition to the experience. Not to forget that the traps should follow some certain pattern rather than being randomized as the players wont be able to overcome that much difficult trap and wont succeed and ultimately loses interest in game and Quit to move to other game.
Let the Mechanics be reasonable and absolute for the best results.

well the game industry is one of the most popular industries and is also the dominating one in every aspect. A person must be aware of the industry he should be working in to be successful. This is an industry worth 18.9 Billion Dollars, that’s not a small amount at all. Not only the developers are included in the industry but also the publishers who act as the base to spread the video games and thus as good as the publisher as fast the game grows and prospers. Additionally the games in present days come with stories and this births opportunities for writers to take part in the game industry and also the designers to create visual effects. When all (Designers, Publishers, Programmers, Writers, And Play-testers ) come up together on a project most probably they result in something epic if they do it in a professional manner. These days women also tend to play games and might dominate male players in some games for example:- KittyPlaysGames, OMGitsfirfoxx, Becca, etc. are over the top women PUBG (Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds) Streamers at present and their Game-play is cool. From the creation of Video Games they have been kept in matters of spreading violence and there are many useless accusations over the same topic. If you try to Put your efforts in an organized way as a developer and would go hand in hand with the present trend and society there wont be anything that comes between your and your success’s way. The industry has too much for the people of the gaming world. Many streamers are selected by developers to play-test their games and provide valuable solutions to them for improvement in the game-play.
