This school is not your average educational institution; here, the students' hierarchy classified by a series of dangerous games.

Students that win the games make up the wild ruling side while the students who lose eventually become slaves. The hype for kakegurui cosplay collections builds from the nature of the manga series that exhibit various exciting features.

As a mysterious girl, Yumeko Jabami transferred to Hyakkaou Private Academy, and she shakes the foundations of the already established hierarchy. The innocent and pretty girl from the outskirts is much more than what she seems to be. Full of wits, Yumeko is the protagonist of the franchise and a compulsive gambler who seeks out the thrill of taking calculated risks. Writer Homura Kawamoto and illustrator Toru Naomura initially released the Kakegurui series in manga form, targeting a minimal audience in the same region. Many series have come forward with a strong female protagonist, but until recently, it was only as a romantic interest of the male lead. In the last couple of years, it is truly unique that female characters have become more abundant, even in the dark and dangerous worlds of anime.  

Kakegurui is a stellar example of how girls are being portrayed on an equal footing as men, even if it is a scenario from where most men would shy away too. It is a relatively positive move and shows more gender equality in a genre where that was not always this neutral with roles.

Nonetheless, Yumeko Jabami is a female character that displays a lot of stereotypical male traits showing just how male dominant a society can be. Even though she has these traits, she exhibits femininity from her every action, and the Kakegurui blazer is still an exciting and cherished attire among the fans. Now when you visit a comic con, it is highly unlikely to notice the surge in the costumes from this franchise—widely recognized, much loved, and desired by females worldwide, Yumeko Jabami's style adopted by numerous girls.

The Kakegurui live, aka Elaiza Ikeda, is a beautiful Filipino Japanese actress who stars Yumeko in the film. Her stellar performance merged with her charming and effortless work is one of the vast factors she currently has a bigger fan than most adult actors in Japan. Ikeda said on her twitter that she has been following the original manga series since the first volume. She had always wondered who would play the student council president in the live-action version and has secretly wished it would be her since forever. Never in her wildest dreams had she imagined that the role given to her and everyone would know Elaiza Ikeda.
