Major in Forensic Psychology
So I am currently in the process of gaining my undergrad degree in forensic psychology. I’m attending Southern New Hampshire University online and am loving it! I would recommend this school to anyone who has struggled with standard college. I went to my local community college when I was 20 and hated it. I thought that college just wasn't for me, but when I finally decided to chase my dream of becoming a profiler, i knew that I would have to do it online. Between covid and my day to day life of work and living with my fiancee, I knew I couldn't attend a regular college and abandon all of my responsibilities. This school has welcomed me with open arms and has great people who check in on you every few weeks and are always accessible at anytime to help you with your tenure at the school.
I am still taking my pre recs, but I actually feel like I am learning the things I want in the way that I want. I’m not into any of my psych classes just yet(will be next term), but I have never had this much drive to work hard on my studies and achieve this goal.
I plan to continue onto my masters with SNHU also in forensic psychology, and eventually get a PsyD in the same field. I want to be able to leave this world a better place for my children and everyone else’s than the way that I found it. I want to be able to say I helped take some of the worst people in the world off of the streets to help secure a safer future for everyone I know and those I don't.
I don't want to go work for the FBI, if it happens like that, that could be fun, but I would rather work in the private sector and be my own boss. I want to be able to help people without having to worry about any higher ups breathing down my neck and always having unnecessary pressure be put on me by anyone but myself.
I know its hard to be able to look even one year in the future, but I feel like I have a pretty strong 10-15 year plan ahead of me, and I am looking forward to every second.
Stay tuned.

The Walker County Jane Doe has officially been identified as 14-year-old Sherri Ann Jarvis who went missing from Stillwater, Minnesota in 1980. According to Sherri’s family members, she had been removed from their custody by the state of Minnesota due to school truancy. Not long after she was placed into the care of the state, she ran away, never to be seen again. Authorities cannot confirm how Sherri ended up in Texas and records from her time in care have since been destroyed. Othram Inc was contacted by the Walker County Sheriff’s Office in early 2021 and asked to assist in The Walker County Jane Doe’s identification. Thanks to their hard work and due diligence of the officers at the Walker County Sheriff’s Office, DNA was obtained and a family tree was created. Sherri’s family were informed of the discovery and opted to keep her identity concealed until November 9th 2021 when an official press conference was held. Sherri’s parents have since passed away and her surviving relatives made the following statement to KAGSTV “She was a daughter, sister, cousin and granddaughter. We love you and miss you, Sherri. May you rest in peace.”

First Blog Post!
So my name is Jake and I have a plethora of knowledge on serial killers and I would love to share it! I am studying forensic psychology currently in hopes to become a criminal profiler one day and hunt down these people I have had such a fascination with. I would love to be pointed in the direction of awesome pages with this same interest and maybe even learn some new things!
All The Best,
Jake
