I chose this picture because Bean and Prissy wanted to run away from Jack, he had a gun and threatening them. Thats why Bean and Prissy wanted to run away, Thats why i chose the picture of the girl walking away. 

What happened after the Ouija board? what happen was Bean had to move because she fought a girl that thought she was better and threatening her friends. Secondly they moved away to a house with the Guteleutes then thats when Jack pulled a gun on Prissy and Bean. Jack got sentenced for 3 years in The Prince Albert Penitentiary for pulling out a gun. The next month after GT(Grandpa Tom) went to the hospital because he found out he has cancer. But Bean was wondering why grandpa tom was not standing up for her like he usually stands up for her like when Jack tries to hit them. Then they got “ancient” dogs like really old dogs that wouldn’t move ol’floke would sit in the mud and cry, Mr.Quint would sit alone on the back step of the stairs. Both of the dogs crying because GT had cancer even after they took the leash off they wouldn't go anywhere.

One of my reactions was Why is jack always hitting them and i was shocked because they such a good couple before.

Questions: Will the dogs die later on in the story

Will jack be good when he comes out of prison 

will GT die 

Does prissy still like jack

Blogset 2 (entry 2)

The comparison with “Do Not Go Gentle In That Good Night” and “Funeral Blues” is the theme Death and funerals, metaphors, Imagery. The theme of both of the poems is death because they're both talking about how someone dies and funerals. Secondly metaphor because of there both using metaphors on how they thought love would last forever. Lastly, imagery because we can all imagine what it is like to be them having a loved one dead. In conclusion, those are the comparisons between “Funeral blues” and “do not go gently into that good night”

Blogset 2 (entry 1)

was Pg 120 number of pg 272

i chose a picture of a Ouija board because in the book Bean and her friends was using a Ouija board in the story Bean thought Ouija board was fake, When they tried it The Ouija board started to move and they got scared they asked the Ouija board “Do you know us” the Ouija board answered  B-F which means Bean Fallwell, Then later on in the book Prissy got a new boyfriend  named Jack   they always hung out and drank; All of Bean’s friends thought their parents were the coolest on the block. But prissy and jack always fought and bean always tucked her sister in so she wouldn’t get to hear them fight.

My personal reaction was why are Prissy and Jack always fighting and why are they using a Ouija board.

Blog set 1 (entry 2)

What I learned from reading a poem is that there's a lot of literary devices being used. My strengths as a reader are now finding literary devices the skills that I’m working on is visualizing and making connections. I was visualizing and making connections on mushrooms during the line where it says “diet on water” I thought the foods diet on water and also humans, I was making connections when war people only frank water because they had to fight for us.I will see which one I'm struggling on so I can work on it next time.

Blog Set 1

In the book, there's a girl named bean her life was mostly happy until her father killed himself.  When her father Ritter killed himself, Bean and Prissy were devastated and sad of why he killed himself. Prissy and Ritter would always argue but nothing that serious, Bean could always cheer them up by making them laugh, but this time things got out of hand and she couldn’t do anything.      

My reaction was the theme, the theme was sad because Ritter killed himself in a kitchen with the kid watching her own father die like would you want to watch that.

My prediction is that prissy would find other guys but Ritter will always be the best one she would deny anyone else
