Legend has it that if the ravens leave the Tower of London, the Tower will crumble and the kingdom will fall. Thinking of this legend gives me goosebumps. This book is wonderful memoir from the current Ravenmaster @ravenology1 I very much enjoyed learning about life with the ravens. I was at @winsportcanada this past weekend doing some promotional work. (Also will be there this coming weekend.) I came to reflect on how lucky we are in Calgary to basically have a ski hill and recreational facility, as well as world-class athletic training facility on our doorsteps! WinSport is not even 15 minutes drive from my home. It was built for the 1988 Winter Olympics (35th anniversary this year!) Growing up in the UK in the 1980s, skiing was only for the elites and I never got into it after moving to Canada. I’ve only gone three times (first taste of it was cross country skiing in the UK), but the last time was at WinSport.
